The new Buffalo chicken melt. Yummy

Went for breakfast and was very pleased with the service and the food. Our server was pleasant and professional. We will be back to the Onalaska Perkins. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

The closest thing we have to 'a Diner' in our area. Prompt and friendly service. Sometimes a little chilly inside, so you might want to bring a light jacket. It's great that you can get breakfast anytime....I really like that. All the food was prepared to order. The Brioche French Toast is the best! Since I can never decide on breakfast or dinner, the Breakfast Burger fits me well. And, it tastes great! My wife's Shrimp pasta dish was also very tasty. Don't forget to leave room for dessert. You're hit with a mouth watering display of the bakery selections as soon as you walk in. It almost wants to make forget about eating anything else. But, you can always go back!

I was in Wisconsin for a military training and I was granted the opportunity to leave base to drop someone off at the airport. It was early in the morning so I decided to stop by somewhere afterwards to get some breakfast. This restaurant popped up and I decided to check it out. I arrived before they opened so I was able to catch some Zzz's before eating. The place is great and I was actually unaware if wether or not they even served breakfast. Turns out they serve some of the best breakfast I've had. The staff is really nice and attentive. The location is well maintained and the food quality is great. I ordered me some biscuits and gravy which were very delicious. The coffee was delicious to the point where I didn't even need much cream & sugar. I really enjoy this place and would definitely visit again whenever I'm in town.

Nasty dented old used coffee carafe!

Took them 10 minutes to seat us and 4 people walked by us and looked at us. Booth was not clean. When I asked them to wash it the manager just glared at me and only wiped what was dirty not the whole table (which it needed the whole table washed.) Waitress brought us water and coffee cups but no coffee, didn't talk or say it was brewing. It took 10 minutes to get drinks. I had to get up 3 times to get something done. Asked for extras napkins and she forgot so had to ask again. The coffee carafe is so dirty and used on the outside I wanted to puke. Didn't ask how our food was and or if we needed a Togo box. Lousy service.

Since 1958 with nearly 300 locations in 32 states and Canada, this family style restaurant has produced commercial style home cooked meals and baked goods. Style and floor setup is pretty common with padded booths, padded chairs with tables and display counter with muffins, pies and cookies. Wait staff takes orders from your table and you pay later at the counter. Menu offers an extensive breakfast line of Griddle Greats, Farm Fresh Omelettes, Sensational Sunrise Skillets, Egg-cellent Benedicts and more. Lunch and dinner have many options of soups and salads, signature burgers, savory supper skillets, simple comfort classics and seasonal specials. And don't forget their ever temping variety of fruit pies, cream pies, cheesecakes, large muffins and cookies. I've reached the age now to join the 55 Plus Club and order a limited selection of meals at a reduced rate. My country fried steak was a lightly breaded beefsteak topped with their country-style cream sauce and came with two sides picked out of a dozen choices. I went with the garden salad with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, croutons and ranch dressing and the red mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Overall quality and quantity was good with that simple home cooked taste. Service was friendly and yes, we took pie home with us. #morselbliss

Place was a mess. Unorganized staff. Bathrooms were dirty and took over 30 minutes to get our cold food.

I also opted for their Happy Hour special of Buy 2 draft beers get one free. I didn't ask before starting to drink.... if I have someone joining me, can we split the drinks? On my second beer bartender Austin produced like a poker chip for the free beer, stating I could use it today or another time. When my guest arrived we were discussing the chip... me "where did I put it?" Them "back in your purse" ...no, no I did not! When Austin came around I asked if he had taken the chip? He said he had, to use for my friends beer. Cleared that up and was met with: no they're on their own, I will use that token, ha. But good to know you can essentially split them and I should have! The tap beer options aren't overwhelming and aren't sparse as I was able to opt for three separate craft breweries. For the burgers; I opted for the Wildfire and them for the Bacon Cheeseburger. When I adjusted mine for no pickles, onions or jalapenos, Austin replied: so just a cheeseburger then? I responded: no, because it also has the special sauce. My friend opted for a side of coleslaw.... which was just coleslaw, nothing special. I opted for fries, they were good. The three included w the price side options are: fries, kettle chips & coleslaw. Parking was easy w their private lot. I really liked the digs and they weren't too loud. I was a little put of when I began chatting up the traveler next to me when she said she was told she couldn't be seated at a table as she was a solo guest. I don't agree w that, especially when it wasn't busy yet....Thanks Crossroads for a delicious burger, cheers!

For $13.99 you get a delicious medium sized burger on a nice bun and a choice of side such as fries, coleslaw, or other options. I also got a tasty chocolate shake for only $4 more. This is a full service restaurant with no waiting in line to order or to pay. Great place for a burger, side AND a shake!

The owners call it "elevated dining" and the prices range from moderate to "elevated" but the quality of the food makes it worth it if you appreciate finer foods. The dishes are creative and delicious. The ambiance is nice but not uppity. For example, they have nice wooden high tops, tables and booths but no table cloths. The service was usually very good and the kitchen has been accommodating with a variety of dietary restrictions. I believe one owner is their primary chef and that his wife/ co-owner manages the restaurant. I must admit, it took me a bit to get over the name of the restaurant, but luckily I did. (Spoiler alert: The owners' dog is the "Big Lady"). We love this establishment and it is truly a wonderful addition to our community!

They had a list of really interesting beers on tap, a good wine list, and some interesting cocktails! I settled on a miso mule and it was delicious! My husband had the tuna salad and it was out of this world! It was a little spicier than expected but had excellent balanced flavor. I had the linguini with mushrooms and shrimp and it was a decent portion size and again - super balanced flavors and textures. My mother in law had the flat bread and it was quite good! The menu is on the pricier side but nevertheless worth it! The highlight of the meal for me was the brûléed bread pudding featuring ice cream from the Pearl! It was more of a brownie consistency but was out of this world! Our waitress Sarah was kind and attentive. The whole space feels clean and modern with an element of cozy. Parking is a little tight but manageable. We'll definitely be back!
