I went in for Valentine's Day diner with my wife and some friends. We all ordered and when the food arrived mine was wrong. Instead of taking it back and fixing it when I said something. I was told by the waitress that she had prime rib and shrimp wrote down not the steak and shrimp. I responded that I or anybody else had said anything about the prime rib. The waitress then said that it would be okay and the prime rib is still good. For the mistake they said they would comp some of the meal. I said I really didn't want the prime rib, I ordered the steak and would prefer it to be switched out. They took the prime rib and made me a steak as I waited being the last to get the meal delivered. They did make it rather quick but not flavorful due to no seasoning, luckily they sent sauce to dip it. As we finished eating and dirty dishes were leaving the table the waitress (same one) lifted a plate behind my back and dropped a knife, luckily a butter knife on my shoulder then it hit my back and slid down the rest of me to the floor. She laughed said at least it was not a steak knife. Then we received our bill for the dinner and I saw that they didn't even honor saying they would give a discount for the mistake or the delay of food. I paid the bill and we left. I as a veteran don't really get out much to the anxiety I have with crowds and loud places, I wanted something special for my wife and this dinner was a disaster. I called them and told them of the situation and they lied to me the second time, they said they would send me something for all the problems. Nothing has shown up... at this point... We had our family Easter dinner at Westview. Great buffet with salad, potato choices, stuffing, vegetables, three meat choices, and a dessert table. Food was excellent. Several of us arrived early and waited at the bar. The service at the bar was fast and they made great drinks. We had a reservation at 1:30 and we were seated at 1:29!! Our waitress did a great job. She checked in immediately, checked to see if we needed drinks, and then said we could head to the buffet. At the buffet the line was long so someone directed a few of us to their second buffet line so there was no one waiting. Great service, great drinks, great food, great place!!! We went to Westview for breakfast on Sunday morning, at about 10 am. We sat and waited about a half hour before we even got water! Two of us ordered coffee and that didn't come until a few minutes before our food finally came, which was probably a good 45 minutes to an hour. When we first went in, it was fairly busy, but started to clear out when we finally were served. We noticed only two waitresses, who both seemed very stressed and almost in tears. Not only did they take care of orders, but also beverages (also making mimosa type drinks and bloody marys) and bringing the food. Once we did get our food, it was very good. There definitely has to be more waitstaff. We won't be going back. read more

Never had a bad meal. Two soup choices and salad bar always has a nice variety. Weekly specials and they do have breakfast on Saturday and Sundays. Supper club style. Waitstaff is great. If it's busy just have another beverage! read more

Westview Inn is a good place for a nice quiet meal. Romantic, and a good deal for what you get.

Good comfort food.Nothing fancy but everything is good. Salad bar has good choices and homemade soup. Makes a wonderful meal all by itself. Bring a flashlite for the menu or ask the waitstaff to turn up the lights; it does tend to be dark. read more

Dark and dank, first walk in impression. Stuck in the 70s, but not cool retro, rather just can't afford a new look 70s. Food is not bad. Salad bar is gross. Locals are friendly, wait staff is too. Seems like a management change is needed...lots of potential. read more

Decent homestyle food, but bring a flashlight in with you because it's REALLY dark in there. Also, genuinely icky bathrooms.

Fish was served to us raw. Never even got a discount on our bill but they discounted the Pepsi that was flat! Never again will I eat here!
