While in Williamsport for the Little League World Series, we stopped at Perkins Restaurant. It reminded me of a Denny's -- but more welcoming. The service was great, the customers were super friendly, and the pricing was unreal. Coming from Hawaii, where everything is insanely expensive, seeing a full breakfast for $7.99 felt unheard of! My in-laws were also able to order from the 55+ menu, which was even more affordable. I ordered the Fabulous 5 -- two meats, two pancakes, and an egg -- and it was plenty of food, so I ended up sharing with my daughter, who absolutely loved the pancakes. On our way out, we checked out the bakery display, which had so many tempting options, but we just didn't have the belly space left! Overall, Perkins is a great spot if you're looking for a quiet breakfast or brunch with a cozy, home-like atmosphere. Definitely recommend! read more

Came here last night after leaving Lewisburg, which is much closer to us, as we had a bad experience attempting to eat there, and dealing with terrible staff. Lewisburg had barely any patrons, but had plenty of tables no one bothered to clean, opting instead to stand around talking. They refused to let us sit at a clean table, and instead wanted us to wait while they found someone to clean a dirty one off. We left. We were seated promptly, the server was attentive, and our food was correctly prepared. We will continue to patronize this location over Lewisburg, because the difference is night and day. read more

We came here for lunch. we had the turkey dressing lunch, with iced tea. the total cost was $32, which was very reasonable. We've been here several times, and the food is good. we have not been disappointed. The Service was excellent. The facility including the bathroom were clean. Parking lot is small so it could be difficult finding parking at times. They are very busy at lunch. This is a fine Perkins. What you'd come to expect. It is clean and the staff is friendly. Convenient location downtown within walking distance from the Hampton, Residence Inn and Holiday Inn. Great spot to grab a quick and hot breakfast instead of the limited Covid hotel offerings. I've stopped in every day the week I was staying in town and the food was always good. When I travel with my parents, this is their go-to place and this specific location. The staff here are plenty, friendly, and efficient. Our orders consisted of: BBQ Tangler burger with fries, Sonoma chicken salad on a croissant with chicken noodle soup, and chicken bacon and broccoli pasta. The burger was juicy, bun was a tasty brioche, fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Chicken noodle soup was slightly salty, but still delicious. The Sonoma salad had sliced grapes and walnuts, the sliced chicken were generous - the dressing was creamy, while the croissant was crispy on the outside and buttery soft on the inside. The pasta was also delicious, and bacon was not salty - which was good. Our server was attentive and routinely asked if we needed anything, but mostly left us to enjoy our meal. Considering last night we had dinner at a different establishment and it took 2 hours to get refills, appetizers, salads and our meals which came out over cooked somewhere that had 3 servers working and 4 tables of guests...the fast service that was provided to us at Perkins today was phenomenal. We were all so surprised it was just at the time of church rush and all our food came our in about 10 minutes after ordering. Everything tastes phenomenal and we had a very attentive server who kept coffee and waters filled for us. Don't eat here very often - just don't think of it. But once in awhile a coupon or birthday offering comes around and we stop in. Went there a couple of days ago, must have a crew of new waitresses, they all seemed a bit lost. Our waitress didn't seem to know what the free birthday meal was all about as we had to point out the coupon to her two or three times and she still asked my friend what he wanted. Then she had to ask another waitress what it was about and someone had to come from the back and check it out too. Maybe they should have checked the brochures that were on every table about joining the "birthday club". I ordered a breakfast that came with two sausages or two slices of bacon. I asked for one of each and she brought two sausages and a side of bacon for each of us. Don't know if she hear, wasn't listening or what.
