I purchased my puppy from a reputable breeder (the same as Petland is supposed to do) for less than half of what Petland was asking. And that included a $575 delivery fee to have my puppy driven from 10 hours away and hand-delivered to my home. Also, the puppies that I looked at and played with at Petland left me with quite a bit of odor on my clothing, so much that I actually had to wash my jacket the next day. My puppy arrived perfectly clean and groomed.
