I purchased the Goddess Lashes but was a bit surprised how booked up her schedule was. After trying online and seeing that she wouldn't be free for over a month, I texted her and she was able to squeeze me in the next week It took about 40 minutes for her to complete my lashes and she was very pleasant. Once done, I was thrilled with how they turned out. The lashes she uses are much thicker and darker than I've had before yet still looked very natural. The most significant issue was time and efficiency. What should have been a standard lash appointment turned into five hours or more, which is not normal in this industry. After sitting through the service, it became clear why prices are lower than many other studios -- the work takes an excessive amount of time due to inefficiency, not because clients are receiving exceptional value. Cheap pricing is not worth losing an entire day. Despite spending over five hours on the table, the lashes were unfinished, uneven, and poorly executed. I gave Julie the benefit of the doubt and even returned to allow her an opportunity to fix the work. Unfortunately, the second visit did not improve the results. Spending that amount of time only to leave with incomplete work is unacceptable by professional standards. There were also serious concerns regarding professionalism and communication. During the service, my eyes were taped shut for hours, leaving me unable to see what was happening or monitor my belongings. After the appointment, my personal items were not promptly returned, and I had to follow up multiple times just to receive a response. Communication only occurred after continued pressure, which should never be necessary. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional -- from time management, to service execution, to aftercare and follow-up. This was not a relaxing or professional environment, and my time as a paying client was not respected. Due to the excessive length of the service, lack of professionalism, and concerns about sanitation and safety practices during such an extended appointment, I am considering contacting the appropriate health department so they can independently determine whether this business is operating in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations. I'm writing this review so others can make an informed decision. If you're considering booking with Silk and Stone Lashes, be aware: * Appointments may take five hours or longer * Results may still be unfinished * Low prices come at the cost of time, quality, and professionalism * Communication may become an issue if something goes wrong I strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you are prepared to lose an entire day and still walk away dissatisfied.
