Sherine took the time to evaluate my color (which was black and very bold) and suggested that a lighter color would work better with my complexion and she was right. The new softer shade looks much more natural and not so dramatic. She really know her colors and matched mine up perfectly. Back in the '70's, diet wasn't associated with skin maintenance. I came to Wendy possibly 3 years ago. Due to work constraints, I had to take a slower approach to my severe acne scars. If I had the choice looking back, I should have taken vacation time. Wendy had given me that option. Thanks to COVID, I have to now, wear a face mask, however my skin has looked so much clearer that I'm not worried about make-up covering up and filling in the scars that I had. I had a small hypo-pigmented scar and she matched my skin tone perfectly, knowing exactly how to handle the delicate scar tissue and how it would react to certain pigment. I had my eyebrows microbladed about 15 months ago and I was probably way overdue for a touch-up! I…read moredecided to try out the brand new microblading studio here in Green, OH about 3 weeks ago. They share space with a spray tanning salon right in the shopping/restaurant complex at the roundabout on Massillon and Steese towards the back. Firstly, the microblading space is gorgeously decorated and very clean! Jen, the studio owner and certified microblading specialist, is super friendly knowledgeable! She will answer any of your questions and walk you through the process. She spends a lot of time "mapping" out your eyebrows so that they will enhance your eyes and make you look gorgeous! Additionally, she didn't take as long as I anticipated it would take! You will also receive a free touch-up 6-8 weeks after your initial microblading! Then your eyebrows will last anywhere from 12-24 months (depending on your skin-type and how well you follow the aftercare directives)! People always ask if microblading hurts. Jen uses a topical numbing agent to ensure that you aren't uncomfortable! I suppose it's similar to getting a normal tattoo, but instead of a needle with a small motor attached rapidly pricking you, it's a very thin blade that makes hair-like scratches before pigment is inserted. Listen, I'm going to be honest with my fellow Yelpers. It doesn't exactly feel like a relaxing massage. But, surprisingly, it didn't hurt! Thank goodness for a topical numbing agent! Make sure you follow her aftercare advice and your eyebrows will last longer! It is normal for them to itch a couple days after getting microblading. Make sure you don't scratch them! Resist! Resist!
