Out of all the surgeons I have dealt with at Christian Northeast (and there are a lot of great ones), Dr. Jensen is by far my favorite. He is the head of surgery at Christian and is fantastic. Very old school with a true passionate commitment for his job and his patients, and an excellently skilled general surgeon. He is a very sweet man with a great sense of humor. He is very friendly to the nurses and even when I call him and wake him up in the middle of the night, he is nice, patient, and very thorough with his orders to make sure the patient gets the utmost best care. If I needed surgery, I'd go to him. If my sweet little grandmother needed surgery, I'd send her to him. Great guy.

I called the after hours line to speak to Donna and was informed she would call back within the hour. 3 hours later after I had gone to bed, I recd a text saying If your head hurts that bad go to the ER. Really!!!

      I feel I shouldn't have wait at a doctor's office more than 15 minutes when I have an appointment…read more At Dr. Kazdan's office, I usually wait at least 30 minutes in the waiting and at least another 15 minutes in the exam room before being seen. I know doctors are busy but so am I. What really burns my ass is they want you to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. Screw that! I not waiting an hour to be seen. On my most recent visit, I waited 40 minutes past my appointment in the waiting room and then another 20 minutes in the exam room. While I really like Dr. Kazdan as a physician, the wait time is unacceptable. If this continues I'll have to start looking for a new internist.

I saw my medical oncologist, Dr. Bagegni, with lab work August 8, 2022. I saw my radiation oncologist, Dr. Laura Ochoa, August 18, 2022, checking in the same lobby. This seems to be the normal program in this lobby. I did not need a blood draw at this time. I had great care on both visits.

A biopsy was done initially through SLU Hospital and the entire experience there was traumatizing to say the VERY least (with the exception of some of the nurses because I don't want to paint everyone with a broad brush). When we felt like we were shucked to the side with SLUH, we went seeking out a 2nd opinion and new neurologist and neurosurgeon. The level of seriousness and care at Barnes has been above and beyond anything we could have ever expected.
