Had a fantastic appointment back in April. Scheduled a second appointment for today and got 2 confirmations - one via text and the other through email. Drove up and was so eager for a nice fresh summer cut, BUT ... waited 20 minutes and receptionist was like sorry your stylist isn't in yet and we can't reach him. So, off I went. Never heard a peep from the Salon. I actually called after telling the story to my hubby tonight because we wanted to see if he was ok. Receptionist said it happens all the time and she is sure he is fine. WHAT?!?!! Oh and I haven't mentioned this yet, but my stylist just happens to be Perry, the namesake and owner of the salon. I want to thank Lauren. She pulled off a miracle. I'm a senior citizen ( won't say how old), but fighting turning gray. Lauren has been styling and coloring my hair for the past year. I've been extremely happy with Lauren and her ability to work with my very naturally curly hair. But, a friend of mine asked me to try her stylist who's salon is in her home. She's growing her business. My friends hair is partially gray and this stylist did a beautiful job coloring her hair with low-lites. It looked very natural, so I thought what's the harm. Well, my hair is light brown/ blonde and after hours getting low-lites I looked in the mirror and saw almost jet black hair. Got home, tried washing many times and it didn't help. I felt guilty going somewhere else, betraying Lauren, so to speak. I'm sure some of you have had a similar feeling switching stylists. Anyway, Lauren said come in and she would see if she could correct the color for me. I truly respect her expertise and trust her. She didn't make me feel guilty, she was kind and understanding. She took on the challenge. She knew exactly what to do and how to get the desired results. It took many steps, she was careful every step of the way to not damage m scalp and my hair. She restored my color with natural hi lights and made me better very natural. She knew the correct color tones and process to compliment my coloring. I am so thankful to her and the wonderful people who work there. Especially the front desk staff, who always make the start and the finish of my visit perfect. I'm not sure I can express in words what took place at Perry Anthony Salon today, but I'll try. Over the course of the last ~2 weeks, my hair somehow became matted beyond belief. I had been trying desperately & unsuccessfully to get the rat's nest under control at home, and I came in with very little hope that any of my hair would be salvageable. I truly, with all my heart and to my core, thought that I was going to have to shave my head. But as I described my dilemma to Michele, she seemed determined to take on the challenge. And take it on she did -- along with essentially every other team member at the salon. Haley came to lend a hand, then Lauren. Adrienne and Michaela -- in addition to going to find vinegar for an attempted remedy -- joined in, and at one point, they, along with Michele, were tirelessly working on my abomination, all three in concert. In between, multiple other team members switched in and out to put in some elbow grease, and others came by to give suggestions. Jane was especially comforting as I was clearly getting quite emotional. After 3.5 hours of tireless effort (and some tears, to be quite honest), we had gotten as far as we were going to get. The only thing left to do was to cut. I waited for someone to become available (totally reasonable, given all that had gone on that morning and that people had clients booked), all the while being asked how I was doing and if I needed anything by the amazing staff. Some time later, I sat down in Nichole's chair. That "before" photo below is actually a "during" photo of how I looked after all that initial morning work, just before Nichole started to cut. Adrienne stood by, offering support & assistance. Just when we thought we had run out of road and we might have to buzz/cut all the way to the scalp, they were able to cut out the matted portions and actually SALVAGE SOME OF MY HAIR! Several shampoos & conditioning treatments later, Nichole finished the cut & dried/styled my newly refreshed coiffure. When I say I was in (happy) tears... Side note: I would like to extend my utmost appreciation to Ali, who contributed $$ toward my bill. I know the administrator who works the front desk gave you a hug, but if I could find you & give you one (or a million), I would. Thank you for this inspiring act of kindness that instilled further hope in my heart. I cannot fathom how much work, energy, & patience went into this labor of love. My deepest gratitude for the incredible, conscientious, determined staff at Perry Anthony Salon. I left today feeling like a new woman. Every time I look in the mirror, I experience some kind of rebirth, seeing this dramatic & beautiful result. I can't believe how much of my length was saved. I went in after a long period of time to get a pedicure and I was assigned Chrissy (forgive my spelling). While the pedicure turned out good, I was not impressed at all with the overall experience. At some point during the service I asked to have my nail filed a certain way because of my issues with running shoes, only to find myself patronized and borderline chastised. She told she had been doing this for over 20 years, that I should calm down, that I am in great hands, and stopped talking to me acting defensive the entire remainder of the time. I am definitely understanding towards what might constitute a correction of your expertise, but I don't think anyone would have felt good after those comments. People come to these places to relax, aside from the actual services. I was sad, especially after my go to salon was closed permanently. I felt like another number for their pockets. read more

I just left the salon today after an amazing appointment where I got partial foils with an awesome assistant named Hayley and some support and a cut from my my favorite stylist Sam Bosari. Hayley was super considerate, really friendly and was a natural with the foils. My color can out bright and blonde like I was looking for and kept me feeling naturally light. Sam also gave me a cut that gave me just the right clean up that my hair desperately needed. I left a happy client and in the last hour I've got multiple compliments from strangers. I've never been to a salon or stylists that I trust more! Excellent salon environment and very welcoming feeling. read more

First let me say that my review is for a waxing only. The salon and spa are nicely decorated, exactly what you would expect from an upscale place. I went here for a waxing because the woman came recommended to me, I was told she gives one of best pain free waxes. While she was very pleasant, I wasn't pleased with my waxing. My eyebrows weren't symmetrical, a little too much was taken off the inside, and too much was left on the ends, and she didn't trim them as well as I would have liked. While it didn't hurt at all, I would much rather feel pain and have perfect arches. I don't think that I would return here for another waxing. read more

I had an excellent experience! They fit me in first thing in the morning Christmas Eve. I had made an appointment for a half highlight and cut. Due to my extra long and thick hair as well as the type of color I wanted, my treatment would take a lot longer than expected with additional steps then originally planned (lightening my natural roots and brightening my ombré). My stylist was so amazing she made sure I got my hair looking how I wanted (including the cut which we thought she might not have time for) and had some nice warm coffee for me. Best of all, I thought the prices for all of their services and products were very reasonable! I have always had phenomenal customer service, contrary to past reviews; the staff at Perry Anthony go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, offering a variety of drinks, snacks and magazines. While I think the hair cuts I have received here are great, I was kept waiting for a half hour today. When I schedule a hair cut, I expect to be taken at the scheduled time and not a half hour later. As a career woman, you have basically let me know you don't care about my time and my schedule. So I won't be back. I understand you want to help someone by fitting them in even if you are fully booked (and cause everyone else to wait), but I can't go to a salon that shows no respect for my schedule. 5 year relationship tarnished by attitude and ego! Going to them for keratin treatment for close to 1.5 years now; almost 5 years for all services. This past keratin treatment not only cost me significantly more money, it did nothing! In fact it left my hair looking like an electrically shocked monkey ! I mentioned on my next two visits with them for hair color that I was unhappy; that I felt like the process made my hair more frizzy ... And that I thought it was possible that due to the significant length of my hair since my last keratin, that not enough product was used. Regardless, I left it to them to decide, as they are the professionals. After all, they did say that with more Keratin treatment I received, the better quality my hair would be! But what happened next was unprofessional: 1. My hair stylist said nothing about my concerns in the two hair color trips following my keratin treatment -- she just continued to color my hair avoiding conversation all together. 2. When I called the owner a week later, she got back to me In A few days and I felt like I was on the defensive. Not a fun conversation. We chatted and she said she would get back to me. 3. 2 weeks later I heard nothing. I called back. She finally called me back saying that she was trying to coordinate schedules with my hair stylist to talk -- that they worked at different times. Seriously?!?! My ridiculously frizzy and crazy hair was now at the mercy of her schedule??? So I ... 4. I made an appointment for hair color ( note to new clients -- their hair color doesn't seem to cover Greys for more than 5 days), the owner said she would meet me there. Are you sitting down ----- 5. I walked in an immediately she was on the aggressive --- trying to say that she "didn't know what shampoo I was using that could be damaging my hair", because I wasn't "purchasing it from their salon".... Note to readers --- Amazon sells the same products for much less -- so why would I pay more if I don't have to? But seriously, let's think about this. Why would I invest $480 every 3 months just to use a cheap shampoo that would screw up my treatment ???? Did she really think that by digging up my purchase records with her salon, that it was going to make me feel any better about the fact that I was sitting there looking her in the face with a head of what looked like electrically shocked monkey hair ?!?!?!?! And further, my hair stylist knows how much I spend on crazy expensive product --- she knows I use top of the line sulfate free product on my hair. Seriously -- the owner at this point seemed to be grasping at anything she could to defend herself with. So.... 6. It was then that I knew I would get nowhere with this person. So I .... 7. Asked for a refund and went on my merry way. There are too many great salons out there with more integrity than Perry Anthony in pike creek. 5 years of doing everything that they asked of me and spending upwards of $300 a month at this salon, and this is how it ends? Over the weekend my little sister got married! We had two lovely stylists from Perry Anthony come to my parents' home to do our hair, Taylor and Maple. These girls were professional, talented, and brought such a supportive/happy energy into our space to kick off the best day of my little sister's life. Not only did I feel beautiful having the best up-do of my life, the others girls in the bridal party looked fabulous! As for the bride... she was absolutely stunning. I have been going to Perry Anthony Salon for more than 20 years. My stylist is Jane Wright and she is so nice and a great, creative stylist. I love the Salon and all of the people that work there. They are like family. My husband died 2 years ago and they sent me flowers and cards. When I went in for my appointment they were very kind and gracious. When I first went in, I immediately felt uncomfortable because of who my hair stylist was. He didn't seem experienced but I'm Shy so didn't say a word. After a while I noticed he was blow drying my hair frizzy. Still I kept quiet. I asked if he could give me curls with a straightener. He said he didn't HAVE a straightener...what? Um ok. I asked if he could use a curling iron -- he says ok. Next minute I look up and I have dread locks! My sister had to run and grab a manager. It was a traumatic experience because a woman pays for a salon experience to feel beautiful. So...long story short the management team was nice about it and didn't charge me (I refused to pay) and gave me some free goodies which was nice. But I still won't ever go there again, maybe after a few years if I hear of a change. Because I was surprised they didn't fire the stylist. He didn't know what to do! Or how to style! And when I asked what was wrong with him or why he was ruining my hair, I couldn't get a straight answer from management. I just wanted honesty and maybe I'd go back. I currently go to new trend and gloss and both of those have always given me good experiences. I hope to give perry Anthony another shot one day! read more

I have been a long time customer and had the worst salon experience in my life at Perry Anthony yesterday. I tried to book an appointment via the receptionist and my call was dropped the first time and then I was put on hold for 20 minutes the second time without an answer. So i tried to book online, i always get lowlights and a cut or a perm and a cut. Could not find lowlights so I just booked color. I arrived 30 minutes early was taken late to my appointment then told i was only going to get color as there was not enough time for a cut. Was not given an option to have another hair dresser step in etc. I had a few lowlights slapped in an never saw the hair dresser again (until presented with the bill)). My hair was washed by an assistant, who barely even towel dried my hair and was taken to the front desk, my hair dripping like a wet dog. Not even an attempt to run a comb through my hair !!!! I was left embarrassed and paid $90 for this treatment. I would have been treated better at a Supercuts !!!! If online booking is not accurate then do not offer it, or at least have the receptionists, who do a terrible job answering phones, follow up with the customer. I was a steady customer for two years and i will never return. I would think twice about going here, i will be returning to Robert Cris Salon in Greenville even though it is not as close to my home. read more
