~ 5 min walk from the ferry. Perfect place to grab a quick sandwich and drink. The line can get long but moves fairly quick. Seating inside is very limited, but there's a decent amount of patio seating. Bathroom available for customers!

Very good egg sandwhiches. Fast customer service and good staff. We went there on a saturday afternoon and was not that packed. We got seats pretty quickly. Very cool cafe.

So cute and delicious! They have a surprisingly large menu including lots of tea and coffee options. The line moved pretty quickly and the breakfast sandwiches were yummy! It is very popular and absolutely worth going to for breakfast when you're on the island!

Absolutely love Perspephone's. Great inventive menu, super cute decor, choice of indoor and outdoor seating, surprisingly reasonable prices, and the toasts are fresh and delicious. There's a little bit of a wait to collect your order but I promise it's well worth it!

Perfect for a light breakfast. The hazelnut latte and specialty lattes are delicious. Located right on the water (you'll see it when you get off the ferry). We got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich in addition to the avocado toast with goat cheese, honey and bacon. I do wish there was more bacon, but still very tasty. Quick service. Beachy vibes.

Dunkin's English muffin breakfast sandwich is much better (which isn't saying much).

Not impressed at all! My wife and I got breakfast sandwiches on English muffins. Neither of our English muffins was toasted (really?! Yes). The scrambled eggs seemed to be microwaved and bland. Portions were really small. We were hungry about 2 hours later. Our sandwiches were much more expensive than the nearby bagel shop, had a much longer wait, and were not nearly as good. My wife ordered decaf coffee. She ended up pouring it out since it was undrinkable. This place is not seem worth the hype... I'd never go back.

Food and Storefront were fabulous. The toast and smoothie were a perfect blend of sweet and savory. The art on the walls is nice to look at. Long line to order and no AC so kind of humid in the shop. Service was friendly enough and food came out within 10 min within the lunch rush.

Smoothie and toast was sooooo good! Scenery is very pretty too! Would def recommend for breakfast or lunch!

Choose from a variety of eggs, toast, bowls, melts... Persephone's menu is "comfort food" at its finest, that can be both healthy and nourishing. For eg. grilled cheese, a childhood favorite, is elevated into a Ti Penso with pesto, arugula, mozzarella and Vermont Cheddar. After a lot of contemplation I finally settled for the Lala Toast, a thick slice of sourdough slathered with pesto goat cheese and topped with caramelized onions, arugula and of course minus the bacon. This is the kind of dish where you say "I'll just take a few bites and save the rest for later", and then you take a few more bites, and then a few more. It's simply too good not to finish every last morsel. Persephone's is a worthwhile stop for a cafe breakfast.

This place was so quaint! I had seen it on Tik Tok and couldn't resist stopping by when we landed on Block Island. Luckily they open at 7, so get there early if you can. By the time we got there around 8, the line was outside the door. One thing they pride themselves on is getting the food ready at a reasonable time since it's a pretty popular place. I had the avocado toast and added bacon and egg and my friend had the Nutella and banana toast. Overall a good way to start off our day with the right amount of energy. They also have smoothies and a variety of other breakfast and lunch options!

i loved this chalk board inside!

One of the best breakfast/lunch spots in Block Island! You will see a line into the street and it's for a good reason. This is a small spot that manages to meet the demands of the island with great food, specialty drinks, and fresh baked goods. The design of the interior is so comforting, this is a cafe right out of a movie! This is a must try if you're ever in the area.

Came here for breakfast around 930am and there was a line but not out the door. Staff does a great job getting people in and out.. you order at the counter then find a table to hang out at until they call your number. I had the blush smoothie with almond milk instead of grape juice.. it was decent, tasted mostly like banana. Also had the almond butter toast which was a little heavy on the almond butter, but the sourdough bread was good. My cousin had a smoothie bowl and Althea told me coffee as well! Cute vibe but not great for a huge group due to small table seating.

The food was amazing for a quick-stop brunch place! The service is quite casual, you order your food at the front, and they bring it to you by shouting your order number. The ambiance is casual as well, but super welcoming with cute decor and some pride stickers for sale! If you just want a basic drink and not brunch, they have a smaller location at the historical society.

When it's open, I frequent here almost daily! Expect a line and a wait during peak season but it's worth it.

#33 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES…read more Such an eclectic place, I love!! This is a huge store with a bunch of different rooms/spaces to sit in, including an outdoor patio which was very cute. I did not study here, but it would be a great spot. Lots of seating and outlets. They have monthly seasonal drinks which they post on their Instagram. I decided to get the seasonal purple cow cold brew and it was good. I personally don't love cold brew, but it tasted good, just very light. They also have a bunch of other coffee shop drinks along with food and smoothies. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area! There is also a large parking lot.

They also have seasonal lemonades. I also tried their strawberry basil lemonade. The strawberry basil lemonade despite its name did not have any basil in it but instead had a little bit of mint. This might have been an oversight of the worker but I didn't mind. The staff here are very friendly and quick with making your drinks. The cafe is clean and well decorated. There is both indoor and outdoor seating here. The cafe is located in a little plaza with a parking lot but it can get full pretty quickly! The cafe is very popular and opens pretty early.
