I love block island because all of their restaurants and breakfast spots are great! Old post office bagel shop is a must for breakfast while in BI. We picked up bagels and coffee then biked to the beach! My friend and I were so excited to see a pumpernickel everything bagel so we both got that with their amazing cream cheese! My iced coffee was great as well. Service is quick, but this place is popular so be prepared for a potential line that will move fast.

This is THE spot for a grab and go breakfast on the island! We tried an egg sandwich, a bagel with cream cheese and honey, and iced coffees. Everything was delicious! They also had baked goods like muffins and more. This is a very popular spot, so service is quick and friendly. There is limited seating indoors and outdoors.

Always a staple during my trip to block island! The freshest bagel on the island. Great quality, quick service, and reliable. Highly recommend for a quick stop for breakfast! Glad they started doing lunch sandwiches again. Great snack for the beach!

Stopped at this bagel shop around 11am. It was pretty packed but the line moves fairly quickly. They were only open from 6:30 to noon so I was happy we were able to order. They have a bunch of breakfast sandwiches, bagel flavors, coffees and muffins which looked phenomenal (large and a mostly muffin top with fresh blueberries. Everyone pays at the end of the line and then picks up the order at the window outside. We were lucky to snag one of the patio tables. My everything bagel with sun-dried tomato and pesto cream cheese was very good. The bagel was chewy on the inside and crisp on the outside. I loved the cream cheese as well and would like to make my own. My dad's egg and bacon sandwich on an everything was loaded and very good. My mom liked her oatmeal with fresh fruit as well. Will defiantly be back next time I'm there for an early lunch or breakfast.

I really enjoyed my bagel with cream cheese, muffin, and iced chai. The prices are good, especially since everything on the island is more expensive. Enjoyed eating outside on the patio. We've received our order wrong a few times (sandwich had cheese after ordering no cheese + received iced coffee instead of iced chai), but these were fixed for us with kind service always. A casual and affordable spot- Just get there before noon on weekends before the bagels sell out!

Sandwiches were huge. 2 of us split one and even that was almost too big. The roast eggplant with arugula and mozzarella on the house sourdough was one of the best sandwiches I've had in recent decades. The fresh fruit was super expensive. One of those tiny deli containers was $5. So I passed on fruit.

Bike Friendly on the island it's a must

Definitely not NYC bagels!!!! Bagels were hard and burnt. Cream cheese was watery and bland. After an hour of consumption I had a terrible stomach ache definitely due to the watery tasteless vegetable cream cheese, must have been a few days old. Typically I would of asked for extra cream cheese since they only gave the equivalent to a tablespoon per half of the bagel, However it was so terrible that was more than enough. Never Again!!! Bad and Burnt!

the worst service i've ever had. the line was outrageous and the food was so disappointing. definitely don't recommend going to. when they finally do take you they don't take all your order the guy took my order for the first bagel walked away, then came back took the next bagel order, walked away and continued the same routine. bagel wasn't good. definitely not going back

This place definitely has the potential to be 5 stars. However, I'm disappointed with the service and the lack of following common health guidelines. I really enjoyed the coffee but the whole experience was kind of a mess. The smoothie machines weren't keeping the product frozen and they were neglecting to inform the customers. The man in front of me was too nice to send back the smoothie (which was now juice lol ... seriously it looked like tomato juice). The bathroom was disgusting. I had to go SO bad but refused to use the restroom in this establishment. Hopefully this coffee shop can get it together by my next visit. *if you're looking for a quick stop for coffee then I totally recommend this spot.

Not a great selection of bagels but it is Monday before Memorial Day so perhaps not in top form. Coffee tasted burnt as well.

Yes, get here early especially in tourist season to beat the crowds, and order ahead if the option is available. They do sell out so check their instagram/facebook first to make sure they haven't yet. My current go to is a plain or sesame bagel toasted with butter and a little hot honey. When I am more hungry, I go for the sweet Lou with no cheese or the Hot Boi with no cheese and cream cheese on the side. The eggs are local and everything is cooked perfectly. The everything bagel is a little too salty for my tastes, but friends love it! My boyfriend is incredibly picky about bagels but if I come home with no bagel for him he gets in his feelings--it's that good. I'm so happy to see The Flour Shop thrive here in Pawcatuck. They started off with humble beginnings and it's been great to watch them grow and expand. Staff is always kind, even with the stress of the tourist season. Check this place out!

This hidden gem is already going viral in real life, and after my visit, I completely understand why. Be prepared to wait (the line stretched out the door and wrapped around the building) but don't let that scare you away. It moves pretty fast. It's absolutely worth the wait. And that says a lot coming from an impatient New Yorker that hates to wait. Inside is small and can get pretty crowded, but there are a few outdoor tables if you'd rather enjoy your food outside. Parking was surprisingly easy, with a decent-sized lot. The service was just as impressive as the food. Owner Hannah was wonderful to chat with and clearly passionate about what she's built. Alyssa, who took my order, was incredibly patient and helped me narrow down the menu with fantastic recommendations!! I tried the #3 Sweet Lou on a jalapeño bagel with cream cheese, and it was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The cheddar scallion bagel with regular cream cheese was light, flavorful, and had just the right amount of crisp on the outside. I also had the Meemers BLT on a margarita bagel, which was absolutely delicious. For drinks, I ordered the Cookie Butter Cold Brew with cold foam and the Banana Bread Latte with caramel and cold foam. Both were incredible and packed with flavor. (I usually don't even like cold brew) From the exceptional service to the outstanding food and drinks, everything exceeded my expectations. The Flour Shop Bagels & More absolutely lives up to the hype and is a must visit if you're looking for one of the area's best breakfast spots. They are absolutely on my list of favorites now!
