We got boba and one of each available cupcake to sample for my friend's wedding this fall. The tapioca pearls in the boba were the worst I've ever had. I saw them sitting out on the counter and didn't know that was an issue till I looked it up later. They are apparently not supposed to sit out at all. No wonder they tasted so weird. The matcha powder was not good quality either. We tried the chocolate, german chocolate, lemon, birthday cake, strawberry, and black forest cupcakes. The cupcakes were very underwhelming for a professional bakery. Some of the cake was clearly from a box and very dry. The buttercream wasn't very good and wasn't consistent across cakes. Some were grainy and others had a waxy texture. Some, if not all, of the filling was definitely out of a jar or store bought, especially the cherry filling in the black forest. The filling was also very minimal. The communication was also very concerning and scared us away from considering them for an event as important as a wedding. We attempted to email and submitted an info request but got no response at all. We had to call on two seperate occasions to get someone on the phone and when we did the person clearly did not know enough about the bakery itself to help get us information. Oh. My. Gosh! Who knew the mountain would have the best bakery in the US!? My cousin ordered a variety of cupcakes for a loved ones anniversary celebration while we all vacationed on the mountain. Each and every cupcake was absolutely decadent. They were almost too beautiful to eat but once we started we couldn't stop. The lemon was my fave and the kids loved the birthday sprinkles one. I'm a regular at Persnikkitys & love the new restaurant & location. The food is always FRESH and there are always healthy choices! I honestly couldn't get along without it! Plus it's the easiest on the mountain to order online and stop in & pick up my order usually ready by the time I get there! Truly great service! Tried this place because we've been to their cafe a few times. They have a wide selection of delicious desserts. Even had the viral Dubai chocolate pistachio bar. I had to try it and was very good. Kids got some sherbet, cookies, cupcake (dig dong) the even have sodas and boba with mix in flavors. read more

This bakery is awesome. Their cupcake, cookie and macaroon variety make it hard to choose. My husband usually has to get at least three different treats. They always have some gluten free options for me. Today I really wanted a gluten free cupcake to celebrate my 60th birthday. None were in the case, and the young lady behind the counter went to the back to check if there were any there. "Sorry", she said. I walked out, only to have another employee follow me and ask if a GF vanilla cupcake would do. I said yes, and if it hasn't been frosted, I would love strawberry frosting. While I waited, I chatted with another customer about how nice the bakery and employees are. My cupcake came out beautifully set in a box, with strawberry purée and frosting and sprinkles and a birthday candle. The lady I had been chatting with insisted on buying my cupcake since it was my birthday. That was a bonus, totally unexpected and greatly appreciated.
