We ordered at the counter and food was brought to our table. They brought fries for the kids meal instead of a fruit cup but quickly and graciously brought it out with a sincere apology. First time to this fun little place. My niece recommended to have a breakfast or lunch here to meet many diet needs. You enter and need to examine the menu. Once you figure out what you want, you will walk up to the counter to place your order, pay and then sit down. The service staff were friendly and had good knowledge about their menu. If you know me I ask for recommendations to see what the staff likes. They had all different ideas of their favorites. I didn't go with any at this time. My family all ordered suggestion: Cheddar Biscuit, Nash Chicken sandwich, Strawberry Waffles, Greek yogurt, Parmesan garlic fries, and tomato basil soup with a breaded cheese stick. I sadly didn't get photos to share, but the food looked delicious and everyone dug in to eat, we were hungry. The only complaint on my behalf was the soup was mildly warm to cold and lack some seasoning. The bread stick was super cold and wished it was warmed up to taste better as a cheese bread stick. Would I recommend yes its a cute place, clean, friendly staff, and would go back to try other items like the gyros which sounded good. I just wasn't super hungry. Stopped by this little cafe wall traveling through Show Low after it was recommended to me. I had been to this exact location before when it was in Mexican restaurant. The decor is cute - - standard independent coffee house/Cafe decor with metal chairs, some wood on the walls, and a faux plant mat on the wall with neon letters. It had a cool hamburger painted on the wall, and I was in love with the giant cat with mirror eyes in the bathroom. I will say the dining room looks weirdly empty, like there aren't enough tables to fill the space. You can definitely tell that the owner is persnickety - - I watched as someone made sure all the sauces were faced perfectly - - a very nice touch. We ordered a hamburger with chips, a Belgian waffle, and a smoked turkey sandwich with garlic fries. We all really enjoyed our food - - especially those delicious fries. This is a solid choice if you are looking for a casual cafe in Show Low. Some of the breakfast items on the menu sounded pretty good, so maybe that's the way I'll go if I return. read more

This place was a recommendation from family for our stay in the cabin in Show Low. Its a tiny spot with limited seating. It appeared that they do a lot of pick up orders. The staff was super friendly and seemed in great spirits. I ordered the chorizo burrito with a dirty Chai and my hubby ordered the biscuit breakfast sando. No joke, this was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. I was blown away. My only issue was it was HUGE and I couldnt finish the whole thing. We were so happy to find Persnikkitys Cafe. There were many positive reviews we had to give them a try. Upon entering we were warmly greeted, the staff were are very friendly and happy. The first thing to do is grab a menu and check out their wonderful menu items, next go to the counter and place your order. I ordered the small Big Hawaiian Burger and my wife ordered the Sesame Chicken Salad, both were delicious. Ordering at the counter was efficient and they brought our meals out to the table. Our server came out several times to check on us making sure our orders were to our satisfaction or if we needed anything. Details: The atmosphere was welcoming, casual, clean, and relaxing. The nondescript exterior was deceiving, don't let the exterior influence your decision (I know, we usually do when we dine out). All I have to say is, I am happy that I read previous positive reviews of the service and food and gave them a try. We were not disappointed and thankful we chose to dine here. Tall brunette with braid down her back asked my husband if he had been helped, and he replied no, my wife needs to order. She looked at me and then just walked to the area where food comes out. ?? My husband said that was really rude and I agreed. I placed an order to go with someone else and the same girl who was so rude is the one who handed me my order. I asked if I could get extra salt and pepper and she said "it is in the bag". It was not. No silverware either. Ummmm I think we will stick with other restaurants in Show Low when we visit. My husband said no matter how much we liked the food, atmosphere. He said he will not tolerate that kind of disrespect to his wife. And I will not either. Took a break from fishing and headed into Show Low for some food and stumbled upon this place. The space is huge inside. You order at the counter, take a number to your table and they bring you your food. Plenty of staff on-hand and they were all great! Super nice and attended to our table a few times to make sure we were happy. The food was really good! I got the Bacon Avo Burrito (bacon, avocado, cheese, eggs, tots and spicy aioli) and a side of Salt & Pepper Tots. Loved the burrito and the tots!! The bacon was crispy and the spice was perfect. What a cute cafe! The food is delicious (we had the Greek gyro and Avo burrito) the gyro is probably one of the best I've ever had, even better than Pita Jungle! The atmosphere is so cute and the kitchen/service is fast! We got there at 11:45, at least 5 people in line ahead of us, we had our food within 20 min! I had the Mornin' Totchos (MT) and mom had Bacon Avocado burrito, with no sriracha aioli sauce. The MT came in a large bowl filled with totchos!!! It came hot and full of flavor!! I used their Wasabi mustard -To die for-. Don't even finish half of it! Mom burrito came hot and stuffed with plenty of bacon, eggs, avocados and cheese. Seasoned nicely! Wrap: 5/5 Sides: 3/5 The vegetable wrap was absolutely impeccable. Lusciously soft tortilla, perfectly cooked sweet potato, fresh vegetables all around, ideal amount of seasoning. However, the sides that came with it were underwhelming and took it down a notch overall. The green chili was underwhelming--missing the punch of the hatch chiles and was just there. We first had a lunch visit and were pleased with the atmosphere, menu options and quality of food. We recently tried breakfast and were equally pleased. The avocado toast was presented beautifully with an over medium egg cooked perfectly. It was so good! Husband had a croissant breakfast sandwich and was soaking up every bit from his plate. I had a latte with one squirt of vanilla (trying to avoid sweetness) and it was delicious. Atmosphere is very classy, simple, cute and clean. Menu is still great but we liked the old location better. Happy to see a good place be successful and expand but the atmosphere has totally changed. Feels touristy now. Persnikkitty's has moved they are now in a shopping center not far from family Dollar. The facilities are modern and clean. I had the Smash double cheese burger this visit; Muenster and pepper jack cheese seems a combination. You can't miss choosing Tots as your side option. Try dipping them in, honey mustard. This little cafe is in an unassuming corner in a plain looking shopping center...so you will miss it if you are not looking! That must be why this is a local favorite versus the tourist magnet some of the other restaurants in town are. But when you open the door you find a friendly and so cozy cafe to enjoy! They have lots of interesting items to try on the menu and good service! Prickly pear lemonade and multiple different teas to try. Smash burgers, sandwiches, breakfast, soup and salads with a full coffee bar to boot! We tried a breakfast burrito which came with fresh salsa, the grilled chicken green chile sandwich, the chicken salad, and the smash burger with garlic Parmesan fries. All was delicious!
