Just stopped by for a real cup of coffee, after days of truck stop coffee, and I could not be happier for this recommendation. Small, mom 'n pop, veteran owned and operated and serves a great cup of coffee! Just what I needed at just the right time. He didn't know about the timing but I bet it's the same everyday, for everyone's timing! Though they knew I was from out of town, they made me feel like I have lived in Show Low for years. Hopefully, I will soon! And if a daily cup of coffee at AMC has anything to do with it, it can't happen soon enough! The service is exceptional. When I went in today Piper was the only barista working and it was a really busy time of day. She held down the porch. She was pleasant and sweet and made sure her customers knew what was happening, and when their product would be available. The prices are exceptional. The coffee I got was awesome. I got the storm trooper little ice four shots and no whipped cream and it just hit the spot. Perfect mix of sweet with the flavor of coffee still able to be tasted I don't think I could ever say a bad word about this place. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My husband and I stayed in Pinetop-Lakeside, the weekend of Easter, for our 11th Anniversary. I found this gem on Yelp because I was craving an iced chai latte. I wanted to try a local place, which this place had really good reviews. When I was looking at Yelp, I didn't realize there were two locations, one in Pinetop and the other in Show Low. I must have been looking at the reviews for the one in Show Low because that's where my maps took me! It was fate that I ended up at this location! When I entered, the gentleman at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. He gave me some time to look at the menu, which the menu had a variety of drinks named after Star Wars characters. I chose the Luke Chai Tea Latte. The chai comes in many flavors, including pumpkin spice! My FAVE! The owner, Heidi, said they have pumpkin spice all year long! She totally made my day when she said they had pumpkin spice!! The flavor was perfect and delicious! The drink itself was also great and sweet! If you're not a sweet drink person, I suggest asking for unsweetened drinks. I also had the breakfast burrito, which came with sausage, egg, potatoes, and cheese. The burritos are premade and warmed up when you purchase. It was pretty good for a quick bite for breakfast. The store itself was clean and cute! Small coffee shop, but had a lot of good vibes to it, like decor, seating, and reading materials/games. I wish we had one of these in Phoenix! We need more amazing coffee shops like this one! I have been coming here for a couple years. The major fact is they make a banana chocolate chip cookie that I buy every single one in stock. Per the owner his wife makes them occasionally so I'll be calling and checking often to go get em. 10/10. The service is great. Love the interior feel and all the cool stuff. Nice wood work tables. A shelf with some antiques and Lego models. I got a game of thrones drink the khalise I think. It was a pastaschio frappe woth strawberry. Amazing. 10/10. My daughter got a lemon honey tea woth lavender and mango Boba. 10/10. My mother in law got an iced coffee after a star wars theme. She said 10/10. Get on down and try. Whoa, a deliciously, well made coffee! This review is really for the service this morning. She was great! A very kind and helpful young girl with short brown hair. I feel the need to mention her as it's so refreshing to be greeted when you walk in the door. Behind us followed 5 more people and the phone rang... this girl greeted everyone and answered the phone with such a great attitude and patience. Superb gem of a coffee shop that we found on our short trip to Show Low / Pinetop. The barista was super friendly and took the time to walk us through their special Game of Thrones and Star Wars coffee menu !! It's a small but spacious shop, and it was good to run across some locals while we were there, who were happy to give us tips on what to do while we were here. I got the Hans Solo Hazelnut Latte (4/5) and my wife ended up getting the Cactus Blossom tea (5/5). Both were amazing !! We also got the cinnamon roll (4/5). So I really wanted to try Arizona Mountain because I've been wanting to find a local place to get my drinks instead of Starbucks. And I've definitely become addicted to their boba tea drinks! I've been the last few days (lol) and tried a few different flavors and none have been a disappointment. So I'll definitely be coming here from now on instead of Starbucks. But I have to be honest, that is not the only reason I'm switching. The customer service is AMAZING!! We've gone three times, each time was another employee. All three were fantastic! Daniel was my first experience at Arizona Mountain and he was so helpful to my husband and I. All were so welcoming and you could tell it was genuine and not forced! For the vegans, I was told the first day they do have about 4 different types of non dairy milk you can substitute if needed. I did Google the boba pearls and from what I read, boba pearls are not made from gelatin so I went for it! I did not ask about their syrups being vegan so I don't know about that. But for me, I know I won't get sick from such a small amount of dairy IF the syrups do contain dairy so I didn't even ask. I would suggest a couple vegan/plant based options for desserts/baked goods. Even if you just did so on the weekends or once a month, or something. I would definitely purchase! This place is great! Highly recommend for a quick drop in or to stay and finish your drink with friends. They do have some board games available. read more

Right when we walked in we were greeted with smiles and great service. It seems like they have a small obsession with Star Wars considering they had a whole coffee menu dedicated to Star Wars themed drinks! That was pretty cool. They have bobas, teas and coffees. After a while we noticed it wasn't being made, and the owner apologized, but then said he hadn't charged us for the second drink anyway. Well, we had ordered a second drink, and the owner knew it. He offered to make it after we complained, but I declined. There are better places to spend my money. I'll go there instead. Maybe I'll even get a drink? read more

What a find! Had a plain latte and an everything bagel breakfast sandwich and both were fantastic. It would be criminal to contaminate a latte made with this coffee by adding syrups or flavors. Service from Madison was outstanding. Super friendly and good at her job. When we walked in, Madison was stocking the cinnamon rolls for the morning. I've had pizzas smaller--wow. Didn't have one, but if you're looking to jump start the diabetes or just enjoy a carb coma--these rolls seem like they'd do the trick. This place is great. They've got a really unique Star Wars themed coffee menu. Unfortunately I had already had too much coffee that day, so the kind barista recommended an herbal iced tea. It was exactly what I needed: light and fresh. My sister and I split the lemon blueberry cake and another loaf cake but I can't remember what it was. Hers was delicious and I would order it again. My husband and I went here for coffee and pastry because of reports that it was the best coffee shop in Show Low. It did not disappoint. We visited on a Sunday, and the shop was crowded with families with kids. We could not find any seating inside so we sat at the outside table that had two chairs. My latte was very good. My husband liked his drip coffee. There were at least six kinds of pound cake plus additional pastry. We had two different slices of pound cake, and both were moist and delicious. I wish there was more outdoor seating. There were two small tables with chairs in front of the salon next door, but I thought those might be for salon customers because it was a different style of furniture. We got the one table in front of the coffee shop. If we return to Show Low, we will return here for coffee and pastry. read more

We went to AMC Co for a cup of coffee. I am usually disappointed with most small coffee shops. However, I was pleasantly surprised today! The drip coffee was great, the cinnamon roll was delicious and the panini was really good. I think what separates this place from the coffee crowd was the cast of characters we met there. Everyone was kind and polite. We had a chance to meet "Chuck" who is a regular. He is a kind soul and a reminder that true patriots and men who lived a life of service still exist.
