They were out of a lot of flavors, both in their to-go freezer and in the shop, so we settled on a few options. The prices were great for what you get, and the flavors were so good. We tried Mint Brownie, Vanilla with sprinkles, and one of their signatures Canyon Land (vanilla with Reese's and Butterfinger). We didn't take any pictures of the ice cream because we were too busy inhaling it. While talking to the girls, I learned they've also started making hot chocolate. It looked really good churning in the machine, but we didn't try it this time. I do wish they had more flavor options, I was a bit disappointed by that, but what we did have was excellent. Considering it was a holiday weekend and they were out of a lot, our experience was still great. My critique would be that they expand their menu to include floats and drinks, even bottled drinks. The space is huge, and they could even serve simple coffee from local roasters. I'd also love to see a candy wall, even just for decor. It would give Willy Wonka vibes and would be so cute.

My favorite was the Swizzle. I squirted the lime that came with it onto the cookie and it was deliciously tangy, my favorite cookie so far of any place. All the cookies are SOFT. We ordered a classic chocolate chip, sprinkle, & fruity pebbles. All were so wonderfully perfect. I loved the frosting, especially on the sprinkle one. Looking forward to coming back for a box when we visit Pinetop again!

Twisted Sugar's cookies are not just soft and chewy but also bursting with flavors. I heard about Twisted Sugar from a colleague and decided to give it a try. They have so many different cookie flavors to choose from. They offer fancy gourmet cookies, tasty mixed sodas, and delicious ice cream twisters. When I went there, I picked up a box of assorted cookie flavors: Mint Madness, Cookies and Cream, Twisted, Swizzle, Crinkle, and Salted Caramel. They even have a special "cookie of the month." The staff at the counter were really helpful in recommending their best sellers, and they also have gluten-free options. The shop is cutely decorated and has a cool vibe. There's a fun twist when you buy. They have a basketball ring where you get three tries to shoot the ball. Each successful shot earns you a free cookie or drink. There were some high school kids trying their luck, and one boy was really lucky that day. Twisted Sugar started in Utah and has expanded to different states. They also have other six locations here in Arizona. They also offer franchise opportunities. It was a nice treat, and I enjoyed every bite of their delicious cookies. I'll surely be back to try their twisted sodas and ice cream.

The service was that of a fine dining restaurant with the FOH staff going above and beyond. You can tell they genuinely enjoy their position. The food was extremely delicious and portions were huge. if the price scares you away, then please reconsider as its 100000% worth it . The ingredients in both the pizza & pasta were incredibly fresh and you could taste the quality. BOH really knows how to cook!!!! My only dislike was I live 4 hours away from this place and cant go at least once a week! The restaurant was cute and ambiance was very chill and music wasn't too loud so you could hear your party. I will miss this place! Please come to phoenix!!!!

While the place is lovely, the servers are clueless and we had a few of them come up during our dinner. I asked if there is any pasta made in house and she said she did not know so I asked if she could check with the kitchen. Turned out they make cannelloni and ravioli in house. They were out of cannelloni so we ordered ravioli and veal Parmesan. Veal Parmesan was too breaded and spaghetti and marina were simply not tasty. Ravioli on the other hand were very good. The Caesar salad was not worth the upgrade since the lettuce were somewhat wilted.

Our visit was on a Sunday evening so it wasn't too busy. Good thing considering how slow they were. 2 hours! Yeah, two hours! The place was filthy! The floor looked like it hadn't seen a mop since they first opened and our table was almost as bad! I ordered Top Sirloin & Shrimp, with a baked potato. Other than being cold and a "child's plate", the food was OK. Not great, just OK. 4 shrimp, a six ounce steak, and medium baked potato shouldn't cost $38.00! I can easily afford to take my family out anywhere, but this was really pathetic. I'd be embarrassed to serve that! Oh, my "salad" was iceberg lettuce that was already limp and turning brown with two bitter cherry tomatoes. I didn't know tomatoes could be bitter! We saw our waitress a total of three times. Once to begin taking our order, then to leave in the middle for some emergency elsewhere. About 30 minutes later, she returned with our drinks and had the nerve to ask... "Now, where were we?" No less than an hour later someone else showed up with our cold food. After about two hours I was able to flag down our "waitress" for the bill. That part was actually pretty quick. It's extremely rare when I leave a bad review. Especially at a restaurant. We go out quite often and see the abuse that service staff endure. I couldn't do their jobs so I have much respect for those who can. Having said that, I see this place in a death spiral. The current staff is killing it. It's too bad too. It has the potential to be great. Considering how long it has been there, it must have been good at some point. Unfortunately it seems those days are past. If you plan on visiting, make sure that your Tetnis shot is current and bring some hand sanitizer.
