Went for breakfast with the family. Got breakfast burrito, sandwiches, cold brew. The burrito was soggy and not too warm. The extreme sandwich was alright served with choice of cheese on sourdough. The sandwich wasn't too warm either. We got cold brew with cream and hazelnut. It was not good. We are big coffee connoisseurs and we couldn't drink it. It was bitter/sour. Second the guy David (owner) serving us was so polite, he recommended I added caramel drizzle to my Hawaiian coffee . I love when someone recommends a slight change to a menu item. This is my usual haunt in Show Low. It's the only place I can find sugar-free hot chai latte, plus, I love the people! The servers are fun, the place is always clean and really smell awesome, and there are even a few "regulars" who are often there when I drop in, so it feels cozy! Well behaved dogs are welcome (though I usually keep my "young wildman" in the car since he gets too excited!). What a great coffee shop! We'll definitely make it a point to come back for their Princess Leia perfectly strong on peppermint and their Oreo Storm Trooper. They bake their own decadent huge cinnamon rolls and other baked goods. They sometimes have gluten free baked goods made onsite also and if you let them know the morning before, they may be able to hold one for you. Friendly staff. This was a cute little coffee stop on the way home from hiking. I liked their creatively named signature coffee drinks and was able to get mine with the same flavor profile but less sweet. The bartista was accommodating, quick, and nice. I wish they had gluten free pastries, but the regular ones did look good. However, when the barista and the owner pull espresso shots from a grinder and a volumetric Espresso Machine that were set a year or so ago and try to educate me that that is all that is needed...the outcome of their strategy for good espresso is just luck. Now that I know that the rude barista no longer works there, I am updating my review to say this place had good coffee and a fun menu. The owners told me they take customer service very seriously in their employees and hiring process. Due to the resolution I received, I will return here if I ever end up in the Pinetop area again. This is a victory for the power of customer reviews; not to destroy a business, but to remove the elements that would prevent it from thriving and embolden the traits that make it successful. This place is a cute coffee shop in the quaint town of Pinetop! The shop itself is very cozy, with a couple sofas, and a few tables to sit at. They have a lot of the standard coffee drinks, but they also have some Asian inspired add-ins for drinks like popping boba, coffee jelly, etc. When I went in this morning, they didn't have a lot of baked goods available, but the cinnamon roll was fresh from the oven so I had to get that. I ordered a Hans Solo Hazelnut Latte off their Star Wars menu (I'm guessing the owner is a fan). The Latte had an excellent flavor, not too milked down. The cinnamon roll was really good. This place also offers breakfast sandwiches, paninis, and bagels, so customers can grab a bite to eat too. Glad that Pinetop has a wonderful coffee place like this. Looks like the perfect place to hang out in once this covid business is over! read more

My husband and I came up to Pinetop to get away from our everyday mundane life. We happen to love cafe-hopping and trying different pastries and drinks. We had the pleasure of meeting David who is super down to earth. We notice him in there painting so he thought he was just a local. But when I spoke to the guy at the cashier register, he said that is his in-law. I loved hearing his story of 20 years in the service and finally opening his cafe. We ordered the Tiger chai. If there is anything I'd like to change, I would want the chai to be a tad stronger since the milk was overpowering the chai character. We then ordered the coffee cake. What is really cool about this cafe is they make their own pastries in-house. The coffee cake is perfect. It is very moist and is not overwhelmingly sweet. You can taste the love that you would get from a home-made pastry. I wish we had more time to go back and try some other of their beverages and pastries. But this would definitely be our coffee stop whenever we visit Show Low and Pinetop again. Thank you Arizona Mountain coffee for the warm hospitality. More power to your business! read more

I got the breakfast sandwich on a cheddar jalapeño bagel with egg cheese and bacon which was good. When we went there was only one person working so there was a little longer wait so if you are in a rush just know that. There is an area where you can sit at a couple tables and or a couch to enjoy your coffee and or breakfast. There are also some tables outside to sit on as well.
