Pinetop Brewery is one of our favorite places to eat in the area! The menu has something for everyone--from juicy hamburgers and gourmet salads to delicious pizzas and more. I'm not a big beer drinker myself, but the beer lovers I know absolutely love this place. It's dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and the service has always been fast, friendly, and consistent. The prices are reasonable, and one thing I really appreciate is that there is rarely a long wait for a table. I recently took my parents there for the first time, and they loved it! It was a rainy day in Pinetop, and we had tried this brewery's beer at another bar, so it was an opportunity to visit and try their food when the rain came. There is outdoor and indoor seating, very comfortable inside with booths and tables located in several smaller rooms around the greeter and kitchen. I started with their craft beer flight. I will say they have more than the usual list of good tasting beers, and they are not limited to one beer style. They have awards for many of thier choices AND they tended to have a little higher ABV than other crafts. Very tasty craft beers here. We decided on pizza and an app to share. The Brussels and bacon were amazing and the pizza was perfect. The servers were very attentive and helpful. Atmosphere was very pine and cabin feeling. I'm always an advocate for vegetarian dishes. There were several choices. My only critique is.... Firstly, the Caesar salad was not like any Caesar I've ever tasted and not in a good way, very soggy due to it being unnecessarily drenched in dressing as well as the leaves of the lettuce were wilted. The Bavarian pretzel was very underwhelming due to its small stature compared to a proper one, there was little to no butter almost as if it had taken strait out of the box and thrown into an oven. The drinks weren't bad and they did have a flight in which you got to choose four drinks. The server was nice and quick with getting our food and drinks. The restaurant was pretty clean and the music was nice but the table was quite sticky. In all it wasn't absolutely terrible but I wouldn't come back ever again. read more

Was up in the White Mountains a bit ago with a friend. After a full day of fishing we came into town for a bite. It was a tad bit late so the options were limited and we ended up at Pinetop Brewery. It wasn't very busy and we were seated immediately. There's plenty of great options inside and there's a patio outside with lights. If it wasn't 30° we would have picked the patio, it looked amazing! Service was great and helpful. We split the Mushroom & Green Chile Pizza which was good! Not the greatest pizza ever but I'd still hit it again. A nice cold Saison (as delicious as it was the other day) in the outdoor patio. But, WHY would anyone eat at Taco Bell when they have this gem of a restaurant??? Now...choices and decisions. What to eat...what to eat...what to eat. Well, Allison had that great looking Bourbon Burger so...decision made! Uh no, wait...yeah, Bourbon Burger. THEN, the server asks me what kind of side I want! What?? More decisions? Ok ok!!! I "settle" for the Sweet Potato Fries. And when I say "settle", I don't mean that I was downgrading on anything! The Sweet Potato Fries are slightly crunchy, tender, and TASTE like sweet potatoes! The sprinkling of parsley lookes so beautiful on the red background of the fries. They have a great selection on tap and for those who like a stout, you gotta try the Dubbel. Our server Katie was great and greeted us in the bar area upon arrival. Her suggestions of the Dubbel , ( one of her favorites) when she learned that we like dark beers, was spot on. The Bourbon Burger was well presented with a light bun, arugula/ an onion jam with a light hint of a bourbon and bacon sauce was great, also if you go for the truffle fries with garlic as Katie says you should try, it's a pretty combo. The hard apple cider was crisp and delicious. Tried a flight with the Tripel, Tripel Houblon IPA, Saison, and Grand Cru--every one of them was tasty. Definitely a strong lineup. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Within 30 minutes of eating here with my husband, I became violently ill with stomach pain and diarrhea that lasted all night, completely ruining our trip. I had not eaten anything else that day except water. When I tried to address this with management, they were rude, dismissive, and accusatory. They misinterpreted my statement about who dined with me, accused me of lying, questioned why I didn't contact them immediately (I was too sick to do so and had no service in the mountains), and then denied a refund I was initially offered. I even tried to leave a factual review on Facebook, but the business blocked me, preventing my experience from being shared. I have reported this incident to Navajo County Public Health Services, who confirmed they will inspect the establishment. I strongly caution anyone considering dining here -- based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

The food here is good, but the service has been half par every time we have come the last few times. If the waiters didn't live off of their tips, we wouldn't really want to leave a good tip. Both the food and beer are really good at Pinetop Brewing Co. They are the only local Belgian Beer brewing company in the White Mountains. Food is a variety of burgers, pizzas, salads and appetizers. Pinetop Brewing Company is located right off the 260 in the heart of Pinetop-Lakeside. The Tripel, Grand Cru and Saison are some of their award-winning beers. I ordered one of their more darker beers called Abbot. It's a Belgian Quadrupel with chocolate, coffee and raisin flavors. If you can't decide, grab a beer flight and sample a variety of flavors. I really enjoyed my beer and chicken sandwich and look forward to a return visit. If you are a dessert lover, they have ice cream, cheesecake and pizookie here. Pinetop Brewing is definitely worth a stop if you are in the Show Low area. read more

We had been in Show Low camping and decided to drive a bit out of our way on the way home to check out this place for our first visit. That time we did have to wait about 40 min for a table, but it was worth the trip and we looked forward to the next time. We enjoyed being able to try out eight different ones with their flight option. We sat at one of their patio tables and the weather was beautiful, it made for a great setting.
