It was one of the first things I planned to replace. But after one cleaning, CCG completely brought it back to life and it looks brand new. I have two big dogs, so I have them come about every nine months and they consistently do the wall-to-wall carpet in my basement and the stairs up to the first floor as well as my couch. And the couch is done cushion by cushion and pillow by pillow. Both the carpet and the couch always look brand new after they leave. Sporadically, I have also hired them to clean other pieces of furniture that I don't use that often - to an amazing end. And recently, they started doing my custom runner up the stairs from my first to second floor. I was a little nervous about it at first as it has custom canvas trim - but again - looks fabulous. Can't recommend them enough. I have been lucky enough to have Zach and Valodia do my service that past few times and they are always on time, pleasant, professional, and really good at what they do.

I had a very disappointing experience with One Clean, and am now editing my original review I left…read morelast year. I had actually used them before on my couch and everything turned out great, so I trusted them to clean my patio cushions as well. The cushions sit in a shaded area and had some algae stains (which I didn't expect would fully come out), but I wanted to freshen them up as much as possible. Unfortunately, when the cushions dried, visible rings appeared that had not been there before (see photos for before-and-after). When I reached out, I simply asked if they could do a second rinse to remove the rings. At first, I was told the technician would be happy to come back. But after over a week of silence, I was told instead there would be a $60 fee--even though the issue arose immediately after their cleaning. Their explanation was that the cushions were damp when they started (true, it had rained the day before), but this was never mentioned as a potential problem during the service. Had the technician raised it, I would have gladly rescheduled. Instead, I was left with new stains and no accountability. Here's the timeline of my outreach: July 17: Date of cleaning service. July 19: Once cushions were completely dry, I noticed the rings and reached out with my initial message asking what could be done. July 22: Follow-up; told my message was "lost" but the tech would reach out. July 23: Tech texted saying he'd be happy to come back, but his schedule was packed. I asked to set a date anyway so I could plan ahead. No response. Aug 1: Sent another follow-up. No response. Aug 8: Sent messages to both the tech and One Clean. The tech replied that it would be an additional $60 because the cushions were damp, which they called "improper use." I asked why that wasn't mentioned before they started, but got no reply. One Clean never responded at all. It's now been more than two weeks with no response. After nearly a month of delays and silence, I hired another company (DenaliClean in Crystal Lake). They were fantastic to work with, had great communication (they explained the cleaning options and what their recommendation was), and in the end, the cushions came out gorgeous. See my review for them for pictures of how great the cushions came out. The bottom line: Poor communication, no follow-through, and unwillingness to stand by their work. A business proves itself by how it handles things when they go wrong--and based on my experience, I can no longer recommend One Clean.

It was a three bedroom with living and dinning area about 1000 square feet. He quoted $450 +/- over the phone when he got on site he said he would do it for $438 and said it would take about 2 1/2 hours to complete, the work included cleaning/shampooing all the carpet and cleaning all stains (which were verv small in size). My mother kept a very clean home and the carpet wasn't in bad shape to begin with. Eric said he was finished 1 1/2 hours into the job so I went to look at the work and right away looking to see if the spots/small stains had been removed where we discussed prior to starting and they were still there and not cleaned completely. He did remove rust spots from under the dresser legs in my mother's bedroom that we discussed, but after shampooing rust spots appeared under the coffee table legs in the living room. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with finishing a job earlie if the work is complete and done well, but in this case the worker (Eric) did finnish earlie and the work was definitely not complete. After he left l looked closer to areas of the carpet that didn't look shampooed and they were dry to the touch, they weren't even shampooed. This is why the carpeting didn't have that uniform patterned look to it because it was not completely shampooed. At a cost of $438 dollars divided 1.75 hours (he did come back for 15 minuts to clean some of the spots he missed) that comes to $250.28 per hour! That sounds to me like a great rate, if you can get it do a good job and keep your customers happy. For one more hour of his time he could have done a quality job still put very good money in his pocket and had a happy non complaining customer. 4/30/26
