The seating was quick and even though we had 7 people, including our granddaughter, we were seated without waiting and it was right around noon. Service was quick and efficient. A Denver Gem: State House (Commerce City) If you find…read moreyourself near the northern edge of Denver, State House in Commerce City is an absolute must-visit. It has that perfect "rustic-chic" Colorado vibe--warm, wood-accented, and welcoming--making it just as good for a casual lunch as it is for a weekend dinner. The Burger Battle * Bison Burger: This was the star of the show. It's lean but incredibly juicy, with a deep, rich flavor that puts standard beef to shame. * Pro Tip: Pairing it with the tomato bisque instead of fries was a game-changer. The soup was creamy, vibrant, and had a slight sweetness that cut through the richness of the bison perfectly. * Pub Burger: A classic done right. Two patties, perfectly seared, with a side dijonnaise that adds just the right amount of kick. It's everything a pub burger should be--messy in the best way possible. The side garden salad was surprisingly fresh and crisp, providing a nice light balance to the heavy-hitter burger. The Atmosphere & Service The space is beautiful--modern design meets local charm. We were particularly impressed by the service; the staff was attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they take pride in the locally sourced ingredients they're serving. The Verdict Whether you're a fan of wild game like the bison or you just want a solid, high-quality cheeseburger, State House hits the mark. It's rare to find a place where the "side" soup is just as memorable as the main course, but that tomato bisque is worth the trip alone. I'll definitely be back for another round of that bison burger!

Big Panda Asian Restaurant is one of Reunion/Commerce City's true hidden gems. Let's get this out…read moreof the way first: the dine-in space isn't the most comfortable or cozy. But none of that matters when the food is this good. Takeaway works perfectly--and honestly, once you taste the food, you won't care where you eat it. The dishes are consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Everything tastes like it was cooked to order, not rushed or reheated. I eat here at least once a week (sometimes more) because it's close to my work and never disappoints. It's one of those places you crave. As for the "smell" some people mention in reviews--if you actually pay attention, it's almost certainly from an extremely powerful vent hood system in a very small restaurant. You can literally feel the suction when opening the front door. That's not bad food--that's likely a city code requirement or a minor miscalculation during installation. If anything, it shows they take proper kitchen ventilation seriously. Bottom line: incredible food, generous portions, great value, and consistent quality. Big Panda is proof that you don't need fancy décor to serve amazing meals. If you care more about what's on your plate than what's on the walls, this place is a must-try.

Cravings absolutely satisfied…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I cannot go anywhere without having some sort of Asian food. That evening, I was craving pho. Pho 92 came recommended and I was immediately drawn to the clear broth in the photos while researching Yelp for Vietnamese food. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. Their menu is huge, so there are plenty of dishes to choose from to satisfy your cravings, whatever those might be for any given day. We will definitely be back the next time we visit CO!

I wanted a burger he wanted to sit down meal and we ended up at the Moonlight Diner. Walking into the diner is like a step back in time. The decor is 1950s memorabilia with chrome touches and leather wrapped seating. It's everything you would think a diner would be but the food is so much more. They have a full bar as well as dairy treats, including shakes and malts. They also have breakfast all day and love their pancakes. They also serve barbecue. But I went for the patty melt. And my other half went for breakfast. His breakfast was the mountain man breakfast and was full of meats, eggs hashbrowns, and Ken with pancakes, but he opted for English buffet instead. It also came with a side of toast. It was a very ample breakfast. My patty melt sure did hit the spot. It was a perfectly medium cooked hamburger on rye with cheddar, and Swiss melted with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Instead of fries, I went for the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was comfort food to the max. My date also got the peanut butter shake. He slurped that down in a hot minute. He said it was wonderful. He offered me a taste at least twice before I noticed it was gone. There's also meatloaf on the menu as well as a pulled pork barbecue Frito pie and they have a Frito pie burger. They also serve meatloaf. They have several classics and several twists. I recommend going there. There's something for everyone.

I received information from the DoorDash driver that he was stuck in traffic. I understood, did not have a problem with that at all as it was rush hour and people were heading home from work, this continued on for about an hour until he had to cancel my order because he was not able to get to me. I called Dions and let them know the situation. The manager informed me to place my order again and they would get it sent out right away and refund me for my previous order. I messaged the new driver, letting him know there was traffic and to maybe take a different route. Unfortunately, he did not get the message in time and ended up being stuck in the same traffic and had to do the same thing... cancel my order. I called Dions, not upset with the situation because life happens! I just wanted to make sure that I would get refunded for both orders. The manager was extremely apologetic and told me she was going to send one of her employees to personally deliver my food. I insisted that it was totally fine and she didn't have to do that but she was adamant and said they would be leaving soon! The employee arrived with my food within 15 minutes and she was so kind. This is absolutely going above and beyond and I am truly grateful for that!! I will 1 million percent return and recommend everyone to this location!!! Well done, Dions!!! You have an amazing manager and amazing staff running that business!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

The restaurant sits in the heart of a busy retail and dining hub, making it easy to find and conveniently surrounded by other businesses. Walking in, we were immediately impressed by the décor and the overall atmosphere. There is a viewing platform where kids can watch the cooks preparing pizzas, and from the dining area, you can see the full kitchen and the coordinated movements of the team as they prepare pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. You order at a counter, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Since it was our first visit, we asked for recommendations, and they were happy to oblige. We ended up ordering the Napoli pizza on the original hand-stretched crust. I ordered the lemonade, which turned out to be an outstanding recipe. I'd dare say it might give Chick-fil-A a run for its money as my favorite lemonade. The pizzas take about 18-20 minutes to prepare, so plan accordingly. Knowing that everything is made fresh and seeing just how busy the restaurant was, I was completely fine with the wait. The kitchen is well-staffed, and everyone is clearly working hard, so you can tell they're moving as quickly as possible without cutting corners. , The pizza itself was excellent, generously topped, with a great balance of cheese that complemented rather than overwhelmed the other ingredients. The crust was the perfect thickness with a wonderful flavor. I actually found myself looking forward to eating the outer edges as I finished each slice.
