Big Panda Asian Restaurant is one of Reunion/Commerce City's true hidden gems. Let's get this out of the way first: the dine-in space isn't the most comfortable or cozy. But none of that matters when the food is this good. Takeaway works perfectly--and honestly, once you taste the food, you won't care where you eat it. The dishes are consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Everything tastes like it was cooked to order, not rushed or reheated. I eat here at least once a week (sometimes more) because it's close to my work and never disappoints. It's one of those places you crave. As for the "smell" some people mention in reviews--if you actually pay attention, it's almost certainly from an extremely powerful vent hood system in a very small restaurant. You can literally feel the suction when opening the front door. That's not bad food--that's likely a city code requirement or a minor miscalculation during installation. If anything, it shows they take proper kitchen ventilation seriously. Bottom line: incredible food, generous portions, great value, and consistent quality. Big Panda is proof that you don't need fancy décor to serve amazing meals. If you care more about what's on your plate than what's on the walls, this place is a must-try. read more

I ordered takeout, the wait was quick, like around 15 minutes. Everything was really good, I ordered the volcano chicken, sesame beef, and chicken fried rice. This is my goto asian place and I like the food. Never really had a bad meal. However, on new years eve I ordered the standard order . Got home and had a casual New years eve dinner. On new years day Morning I dipped into the chicken dish , heated it and began eating it. To my surprise I felt something hard and spit out a staple. Appearantly, there was an open staple in the food. How it got there I have no clue, I looked on the container for staple marks since the dish was wrapped in saran wrap. no evidence of stapling. Still not sure how it ended up in the food. The food seems to be fine, however I do not suggest ordering with Grub Hub. My order had missing and changed items. No egg rolls, key lime pie replaced with crappy cheese cake. When I called I got put on hold by a lady speaking perfect English. When the call was answered I spoke to a man who seemed to speak very little English and told me to contact Grub Hub. It's Saturday night and it was very busy, but they got my order quickly and the young man at the front desk was amazing! So glad I finally found a Chinese spot I feel is worth it! I doordashed from here on two different occasions, actually 3 lol. I ordered the chow mein and chicken wings twice. I recently ordered the Pad Thai and cheese wontons. The portion size, believe the reviews. The portion size is big and it takes me a few days to finish it. That's how big the portions are. The quick service is amazing too, I never have to wait too long and when the food reaches my house it's still steaming and that's how I like my food. I ordered dessert from here twice, and I would pass on the $7 small slice of cake. Not worth the price. However everything is definitely worth it. I do wonder when restaurants stopped putting crab in cheese wontons. I know it says Cheese Wontons, but the crab is what definitely makes them. These cheese wontons were a little sweet but they were still good. The fried chicken wings I hoped to be better. They're not as spicy as I'd like them to be. I paid $48 bucks for these dried, burnt noodles, "fried" rice (basically just soy sauce only), cold wontons, and 2 pretty good meat entrees (each around $15ea - chef special and honey bourbon chicken). I came in last night after work and had great service over the phone with this nice young lady! She took my order for just Sesame Chicken and fried rice. Very basic. I showed up, picked up my food. The restaurant has the cutest dine in ever seen... However closed due to that meddling virus. First off, the portions are very generous and I enjoyed the presentation of the Sesame Chicken. It appeared appetizing and with two soy sauce packets, I finally had my first bite in. Also, they forgot my fork, but this is some trend I've been noticing at sooo many Chinese restaurants where my utensils are not included. Oh well, no big deal. The crunchiness of the chicken was not there, appeared very soft and the chicken inside had some off taste to me. One of the bites felt rather strong and I didn't eat all of the meal. Excellent Chinese food have eaten there several times and very consistent and delicious. Their servings seem to be a bit less than most Chinese restaurants but they definitely make up for it in Quality. I highly suggest ordering online and picking up although they do deliver for a $2 fee which is very reasonable. The sesame chicken and beef is amazing.. i normally like them to add some chili oil as it's not very spicy for me ..but then again i like lots of spice. I have also had their beef broccoli , lowmen,and pad Thai all was very good. Kind of tricky to find as it's back away from 104th. Definitely the best i have had in the Reunion area. We are glad to have a great Chinese restaurant in our community. Their entrees never disappoint and we've had many of them. My go-to favorite is the combination Wor Wonton Soup. It's got a lot of wontons but also chock-full of fresh, crisp veges and meats. I can order a large and it's a complete meal for me. I also love the crab cheese wontons, which are deep-fried and very tasty. The sesame chicken is very good but also quite mild unless you specifically let them know you want spicy - took us a few tries to learn to ask for "a very spicy" version which is perfect for us. The beef & broccoli is also a favorite along with Szechuan chicken. Honestly, we've never had a dish we didn't like from Big Panda and the cost is very reasonable. Service is always friendly and delivery has always been ahead of estimated time, which is nice. There isn't really space to get comfortable and eat - but transparently, we haven't really tried either. We already do takeout or delivery. This is definitely a fan favorite in our house. read more

We did take out and had it delivered to our hotel. It was all packaged really nice and make it easy for us to unpack. We had so much food that it just kept growing! We ordered the combo pad Thai, which wasn't very spicy, although I ordered it spicy. It was very good though! The Crab Rangoon was absolutely amazing. Not overly sweet. We also ordered the egg drop soup with corn, which was an interesting take on traditional egg drop. I ran into this little spot when I got lost. But hey I was hungry so why not? I was a bit baffled by the "drunken noodle" on a Chinese menu. Thai no? Then I saw why they called it that as they used cooking wine in the dish. It comes medium spicy which appeared they use crushed red chilies as spice. It had a good amount of shrimp and with a wide rice noodle (my fave). Veggies included asparagus which impressed me. The flavor was not a traditional drunken noodle but it was still tasty. No utensils given or napkins for my to go order. Food portions were good. I also has the boneless bbq ribs. Tasty but I will try the bone in next time. Give it a try. I've been to over 50 countries in my lifetime and I've eaten all kinds of cuisine. This place was, without question, the most disgusting food I've encountered. Walking into the place, the door has a very strong vacuum on it presumably due to the kitchen ventilators. As a result, there is a heavy stench of septic gas pulled through the water traps which are likely dry from it. Local health authorities need to visit this place urgently. read more
