I first started eating at KT's over 20 years ago when Kirk and Tricia first were starting their business out in that crumbling old house around 60th and Arapahoe with semi trailer storage out back. They then later opened the 74th and Arapahoe location in an former Caribbean restaurant. Fast forward some 20 years later when returning to visit family and imagine the surprise to see locations in Denver and Broomfield in addition to the two Boulder stores. Meal-wise, things have not changed much since then and that's a good thing. The pulled pork 'Pig Pile' is as good as ever, especially their original 'Elvis Style', putting the side of slaw on top of the sandwich. Both the tangy and sweet sauces are some of the most distinctive I've had and are great. To be clear, it ain't Rudy's, but it's damn good!

We were simply picking up ice cream when I saw this place. Knowing my husband and son LOVE BBQ, I called my husband over and he went in and ordered (he is particular about his bbq). This is the REAL DEAL! The staff were friendly, let us do 1/2 and 1/2 of things - we got ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork. My son who isn't a huge mac and cheese kid LOVED it. So delicious and so reasonably priced - I thought maybe they made a mistake. So happy we have leftovers. Super delicious - give them a try for sure!

BBQ chicken sandwich with coleslaw and mashed potatoes! Super mildly spicy taste. This was satisfying and I'm starting to fall in love with BBQ more than seafood. The Smokehouse industry literally kidnapped me fair and square. The menu has Value Combos:: mostly of three names lol. Mike's, Joe's and Amy's. Of course, I got Amy's Light Basket, light BBQ sandwich-- (Pork shoulder, Chicken, Brisket or Hot Link) Side order and drink. I chose the Chicken of course!! The side of Cole Slaw $1.60, and Lemonade. + Mashed Potatoes. Their desert of key lime pie for $1.00 something is also wonderful. My sister had the Brownie. My cousin is not a high lover of meat -- so Light Sandwich for $4.25 was what she got. She picked Pork. She loved it.

Came here for a pretty quick lunch. I ordered Mikes Basket with the pulled pork and it was deliciously. The food came out super fast and was a really good portion for a sandwich. Everyone working was very friendly as well. Good place!

Holy yummy BBQ chicken salad!it is crazy yummy with BBQ chicken, roasted red peppers, corn....totally satisfying! There was one employee behind the counter, serving up and preparing orders. She was none too happy to be there. It would have been cool to have a little love included in the visit. :)

Really bad, tastes like boiled beef and boiled chicken . Ribs ok, beans and mac&cheese mediocre.

They cook their steaks perfectly and have some of the funnest and tastiest sides I've ever had the pleasure to eat. Their roasted heirloom squash is never to be skipped over, it's my favorite vegetable dish that they sell, also do not skip over the Crispy pigs ears, or the tartar! The service there is outstanding and everyone that works there is super nice and professional, they are all masters of their crafts. I love the entire vibe of Blackbelly, they have well taken care of live plants everywhere, and it's very clean and tables are well spaced out. One of my favorite parts though is the dry age case! I love being sat near it (when others don't always) because I also work with food and appreciate how things are made. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I believe they've maintained a Michelin Green Star since they first received one.

Lots of deli choices to take home with meats and other dishes. The only downside is it was incredibly loud, concrete floors, no sound absorbing materials, and metal chairs.

I found myself at an event where this truck had been brought in to cater the food. Took a look at the menu and the special was a sandwich called "The Pineapple Express", consisting of pulled pork, grilled pineapple and 2 chunks of grilled pork belly for good measure. Naturally, I ordered it. It didn't disappoint. They asked if I wanted a side and I said mac and cheese, then they asked, "anything else?", and I jokingly said, "side of brisket". So they threw a pile of brisket on the plate as well. The mac and cheese and brisket were great, but the sandwich stole the show. I'd order any of it again. They also had a vegetarian sausage option which was a nice, albeit unexpected touch especially coming from a bbq joint that seems to specialize in meat, (as most do I suppose). The people were super friendly and handled a relatively large and somewhat demanding crowd while maintaining notably positive attitudes. Crazy good sandwiches, sides of brisket, veggie sausages and super nice people...what else could you ask for? Again, don't pass by this truck without stopping. You may not know what you're missing. 5 stars.
