The red light panels didn't always fully work in every room, and neither did the Bluetooth speakers, so some of the amenities weren't consistently available. Cleanliness was also hit or miss. A few times I couldn't use the cold plunge because there was hair in the water, and the shower had a mildew smell when turned on. The biggest issue for me was the sudden change in hours. I specifically joined because the earlier morning times worked with my schedule, and I regularly arrived between 8:00-9:30 AM. When the opening time changed to 10 AM without notice, it no longer fit into my routine. I tried to make it work for a couple of weeks before canceling. Although the additional billing cycle was technically part of the contract, I was disappointed that management never returned my request for a call given the schedule change. I wish the experience had stayed consistent because I genuinely enjoyed the sauna and went often. I'll likely try Perspire Sauna Studio since it's opening closer to me.

I communicated with Linda via email initially then by phone to schedule my appointment, which was quick and easy. I called on a Thursday and was able to get an appointment for Saturday morning. When I arrived, Linda and another staff member greeted me kindly. I started with the 15 minute red light session first and Linda walked through all the benefits of both services thoroughly. I had no prior knowledge about the benefits so it was super helpful getting all the nitty gritty details about the process. The place itself is very clean and calming-- there were diffusers everywhere with pleasant summer scents. I was expecting that the sauna room was going to be tiny but was pleasantly surprised. Loved my experience and appreciated that they didn't push buying a package or membership at the end but will definitely be returning and have already recommended them to some of my family!

The guy told me that I didn't need to buy the deal and they would honor the price. You would just pay them instead of paying Amazon, so that's what we did. They happened to have a slot open so the timing worked for us. Turns out, it wasn't actually a couples massage. You're actually in separate, adjoining rooms, and they just leave that door open. That's fine but if that's the case, they shouldn't advertise it as a "couples massage." Other than that, the massage was nice - nothing to complain about, but also nothing to write home about. The deal also included an add-on service, which was either a back scrub or a foot mask. I opted for the back scrub. They were a little rough on that but it was worth it because my back felt really smooth afterwards. With a massage, you also get access to their fitness center, hot tub, and pool. There's also a locker room and showers but the showers are pretty dismal-looking. One of the two doesn't even have a soap/shampoo dispenser. I probably wouldn't be back because the facilities didn't seem too spa-like (especially when you're sharing with hotel guests, since it's located within the Marriott). Plus, I feel like I could find a better deal elsewhere.

My massage was incredible, it was with John. I told him that I'm on my feet a lot at work. This past week was a very busy week and I worked close to 60 hard long hours. I also told him that I ached everywhere. He worked out every knot I had! It was a little painful at first but I was in bad shape. He found knots I didnt know I had ,stretched my limbs and worked on my flexibility. I feel like a new person. I've had regular massages 2-3 times a year for years and he was the best I've ever had. The spa is nice , relaxing dimly lit. Its a little odd that you check in next door and sit outside waiting to be called in, your basically sitting in the hotel lobby. The point of the matter is I was not informed before or after the procedure what were the expectations this time or the depth of treatment that was done that day. Therefore, I went to a dermatologist who stated that it was NOT normal what I was experiencing. She also stated that because my face was so inflamed she could not tell if my scars due to the procedure would fade or not. This is after I stopped by your place of service and was told this was "normal". Even after the 48 hours I still couldn't touch my face due to the pain. My face is worse than it was before I went in for the procedure. I have reached out directly, twice and I still haven't gotten a call back. My only complaint is that they seem to have high staff turnover, which means you're dealing with different people each time. On my most recent visit about a month ago, I was told that NJ law now regulates who can do IPL, and so now it is only done by a medical staff member. Consistent with that (and everything else lately) prices did go up a bit, but after checking around in the area, they still seem reasonable here. Dorota is now the exclusive technician for photofacial. This was my initial session with her. She was thorough in trying to understand my problem and to advise realistically about the procedure and expected results. As I said, I'm not a photofacial newbie, but I appreciated her attention to detail and expertise. She was careful about my comfort and ready to meet me where I was at when I requested that she use high intensity. She was also thorough in the treatment, and I felt that she really tried hard to hit all areas of my face, which I appreciated. I have zero complaints about Dorota. She was great. Unfortunately, my results this time were less than impressive. I don't know if that is because I've reached the end of efficacy for the photofacial, if there was something different about this laser, or just what... I get the IPL to treat brown spots and uneven skin tone. In the past, I have had really amazing results where the areas darken and "scab" and then the discoloration seems to flake right off leaving renewed skin. This time I had almost no darkening and minimal results. I am aware that IPL photofacial is not a science and results can vary greatly. It was just disappointing that something that has worked so well previously did not perform equally well this time. Because of the lackluster results and the price increase, I am not sure that I will keep at it. In the past, I've had prescription bleaching cream that did nothing. The initial IPL was very effective at lightening my dark patches. The spots are still visible, but maybe they are "too light" for the machine. After this summer, I will likely re-evaluate. In sum, I recommend this spa for the facilities and the staff. If you've never tried IPL photofacial and you are dealing with discoloration, this might be what you need. For reference- I'm fair-skinned but tan easily with some freckles.

They require you to sign off on the legal document that is a combination of Hold Harmless if they injure you, and a list of service that are included in service your purchased. I listed on the document that I had an injured right arm, and believed that that would indicate they would treat that area with care!! One of the services listed was a change of clothes, so that I assume you change into those clothes for the massage. Despite purchasing a 90 min massage, I was led into a non-private room where there were other customers being worked on... I was never given this change of clothes. So the message person gave me a message through my street clothes...shirt and shorts! I was surprised, as I have had massages before and never have they not provided the message spa wear so that you get the proper benefits of a therapeutic massage. Masseuse did not speak English well, and proceeded to twist my injured arm behind my back [to stretch it]! I said that hurt and she chuckled ! I was shocked that they disregarded the note on my intake form stating that that arm/shoulder was injured. Furthermore, she worked unusually long on my left inner thigh at the juncture of my leg and hip joint, and lower back near my kidneys. I experienced severe pain in three areas after this message for three weeks! : My left hip joint, my lower back / kidneys, and my right arm. Very memorable as a non-enjoyable experience.
