Talk about having the flavor and texture. Hands down the best Peruvian food in southern Oregon. I got to try the classic lomo Saltado which was stirred fried to perfection. And if you want something light and tasty the anticucho de pollo is the plate for you. My favorite dish was the tallarin saltado, those yakisoba noodles packed so much flavor. The bomba tacos also took me by surprise, I would take those tacos any day of the week. You can smell the aroma permeating the air with the grilled chicken sizzling. There are benches outside where you can sit down and enjoy your lunch. The service is fast and friendly. read more

Christian and his crew are killing it at the Barnett location (Starbucks across from RRMC hospital). Super fresh, flavorful meats paired with perfectly seasoned veggies and rice. Our faves: 1-Lomo Saltado: sliced steak, red onions, green onions, tomatoes, gold potatoes, served over rice with 2 awesome sauces (spicy green and creamy yellow) 2. Anticucho de Pollo: grilled chicken (thigh I think), green salad w an amazing dressing, cilantro rice and the same green and yellow sauce (above). His regular location is a bit out of the way for us, but we somehow seem to make the time to head over for the killer eats that Peruvian Point is consistently slinging. read more

I've been patronizing PP for a few years, but only once this year because the last three times I've visited, the arrogance and attitude of the young woman at the window is just off-putting. I wanna first say that I have always been a fan of Peruvian point since they had started up back at the farmers market when it was at the Medford armory. I love their sauces as they add a lot of flavor to meal. But I don't know why; but the last couple months every time I have ordered something at Bartlett (downtown) location; I have a very inconsistent plate of food. Even though I order the same thing. Peruvian Point is an incredible food truck restaurant, one of the finest I have ever had the privilege of enjoying the delicious meals served by very gracious folks. We ate here two straight days for lunch and had both the marinated, grilled Peruvian chicken, salad and rice, all served with three first class sauces and all spiced to perfection. Similarly, we enjoyed the marinated Tri Tip, with sauces, potatoes, rice and salad. The portions are also very generous. All I can say is... Muy Sabroso, very tasty and delicious throughout. *UPDATE* This is not a review reflecting on the quality of food, the food is 5 stars, but it is not just the food I rate businesses on. After my experience, I will no longer be supporting Peruvian Point no matter how tasty their green crack sauce is. I'm going to start off by saying when I first arrived, ordered and ate my meal I had every intention of leaving 5 stars. So I'll just give it to you from the start how it would have gone originally. First, if you read my previous review and learn that I took off a star for the pains I had to go through to find out where they were located because everything listed online was wrong, you will be glad to know it has been fixed and thus I added a mental star while waiting for my food. We are now at 4 stars yay!!! Second, the first time I ordered I was served a very very very small portion of meat in comparison to everything I had seen and expected to get. This time it was very adequate and deserving of the bucks I handed over for that tasty chicken. Thus another star was added to reach the all glorious and fabulous 5 star rating that everyone strives for on Yelp. Go my little red wagon of green crack sauce, go, go spread your wings and fly! But then......it happened...it all happened so horribly and I was now completely done with my meal though much food remained. I'm going to keep things nice and put it in layman's terms. I was completely appalled by some very salacious actions I saw/heard taking place by the man grilling the chicken towards 2 young female customers, who in turn were struck with a look of uneasiness and fear from basically being cat called in a underhanded and sly way. The chicken grilling man should keep it in his own age range and not dip down into the younger years. After much serious searching for a way to contact the owner and let them know what transpired, I was further disturbed to learn that the chicken grilling man was in fact the owner. My 1 star review is in no regard to the food, the food was 5 star worthy, but it's not always about just the food now is it? It is the actions of the owner, his unprofessional conduction of business and crass behavior towards women that earned my 1 star of fury. High 4 star for the peeps at Peruvian Point! I was 5 minutes away and called in my order, and it was ready by the time I rolled up! The sandwich was decent size and loaded with flavor... The grilled chicken was just about perfect! The veggies on the sandwich as well as the side salad were super fresh... The red potato was good but it needed a touch of salt... The condiments were different then the normal fare, and accompanied the rest of the meal very nicely (the spicy green sauce was rockin!)... All and all, Peruvian Point is well worth searching them out... They offer something that nobody else in So Or does... Californian wanderer, stumbled across this truck through yelp. Tucked next to a Starbucks I believe it was next to another grill truck. Interesting setup as most of the cooking is just done on grills outside the cabin. Same with the other Truck. No complaints. Staff was very friendly and they have outdoor tables and benches setup with canopys for eating on location. It seems to be a favorite of local hospital staff as we hit their lunch rush. The review itself is only for the steak Loma Saltado and that is the main reason I'm giving it five stars as it was delicious and filling. They give two salsa with it a yellow savory sauce with mild flavor. It was good on the meat and potatoes and a green salsa that was more citrus and fresh tasting. I am not a Peruvian food afficianado but we have good peruvian places in the sf bay area and this is just as good if not better. I got my friend to try Peruvian food here for the first time and he massacred his plate so badly it might have been considered a crime there. All in all good experience and great food. I finally got to try this "wagon" across from RRMC (hospital). I was not disappointed! I cannot remember nor pronounce what I got, but it's #2 on the menu for 9$. Heaps of delicious chicken with veggies, seasoned rice, and "not your average boring" salad on the side with they're own vinegrette.
