Stopped by Tap & Vine @ 559 since I was in town. It's located in Tinseltown- a cute, outdoor shopping mall in Medford, Oregon. I got the honey mustard encrusted pan seared salmon. It was delicious! Fresh salmon, tangy coating and earthy, buttery asparagus. The Yukon gold mashed potatoes were crispy, salty and savory- great starch addition to the meal. My friends got the shoestring fries, steak bites, and bbq platter. Everything was delicious! My favorite of what they god being the BBQ ends with the Mac & cheese with breadcrumbs. So creamy and satisfying. The barbecue was juicy, saucy and tender. The service was fabulous. Tanishia M took care of us nicely. This was my second time eating at Tap & Vine, and we returned because of how good we remembered it was when we first visited in 2024. What I remember most is how nice the place looked -- it has a fun mix of modern and rustic decor and very clean restrooms! My husband and I ordered the shareable mac and cheese along with two entrees, the Green Goddess salad and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with tater tots. The portion sizes were very generous. I appreciated that they gave us two small plates to split the mac and cheese, and by the time we got to our entrees, we were already getting a little full! For the salad, I really appreciated how well-seasoned and prepared the tofu was. The tofu had a nice light, crisp coating and was flavorful, and the salad had a nice mix of crunchy cucumbers and lettuce mixed with sliced grape tomatos, feta, and red onions. The salad was not over-dressed and made it easy to take home leftovers. My husband also enjoyed his sandwich, being the second time he has ordered it. The chicken is crispy and well-seasoned. I especially liked the tater tots -- no greasiness and just the right amount of salt. Our waitress was super sweet and kind checking up on us as well. Solid bar food option. Really no complaints about the food. The burgers had a great seary crust, light weight, served on an airy bun. It went down nicely and the beer hit the spot. The front of house was a little confused and strategically out-of-line with the location next to the movie theater. I came for dinner and a movie on a Friday night, 90 minutes before showtime. The place looked at half capacity with loads of open tables inside and outside, but they were reporting a 30 minute wait to be seated. If I had not come super early, it probably wouldn't have comfortably worked out. If the business had the right mindset, I'd probably be back for dinner and a movie all the time, but the front of house didn't seem charged to get people through. A strategic miss! read more

This is one of our favorite restaurants and we enjoy the food and cocktails as well as seeing Codi (our favorite waitress) who takes great care of us. I love the Shotgun Walnut Manhattan. Hubby tried to order a frozen margarita or pina colada but we were told they don't have a blender. WHAT!! I don't know a bar that doesn't have a blender. We ordered the Giant pretzel to start and I had the Churrasco Y Papas Bravas. It is always cooked perfectly and the flavors are great. Heated patio is a must for dog owners driving through like me. This is my favorite place in Medford so far. Service was absolutely phenomenal here. So quick, attentive, and most importantly very kind and nice. Mandy was the best server we've had in a long time. She was so kind to us and made us feel at home Food was solid. Generous portions. We got the ramen (solid!) as well as the pretzel. The ramen was on the lighter side which I appreciated after a long drive. But still felt hearty. Staying in Medford on a road trip through Oregon. We found good reviews for Tap and Vine and decided to give it a try. It is in a mall and had lots of nice patio seating. Unfortunately, it was a rainy night and we were glad we reserved an inside table. Service was friendly and prompt. We loved the tasty sounding cocktail menu and enjoyed a Manhattan and Old Fashioned, definitely the right choice for an early fall evening. Shared a corn cake starter, which was delicious and a smash burger and Hawaiian Bowl with shrimp. All generously sized and tasty. We will definitely return on a future trip. read more

Appetizer was the best part of the meal. I had the shrimp. Service was slow only time the waiter visited our table was two times. Once to take our order. The next time was after I went and asked the host we needed our check. Kitchen staff delivered our appetizer and main course. I'm glad when they seated us they brought us a larger pitcher of water for our table because they never refilled our drinks even after we ran out half way through the meal. Next the Poke we had. The rice was crunchy! Ate around it. Not good. Disappointed. Told our waiter they needed to throw out that rice if they have any left. Outside seating the chairs were dirty. Sorry for the bad review. Fast service and friendly staff (highly recommend you book a reservation though). A very spacious restaurant with a full bar and they have screens up if you want to catch your favorite game. The only downside is the food: it was great before, I'm not sure why the quality has changed. Beef was overcooked (too dry) in our tacos. Smaller portion size for brussels compared to before. And the clams tasted a bit too fishy (it's not as fresh?). The NA beer was okay, nothing to write home about. If the food improves (bring back the less heavy salad options please!), then I'll absolutely come back for dinner the next time I'm back in town. read more

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Tap & Vine at 559. If you knew my fiancée, you would know they are one of the pickiest eaters imaginable, but this place totally won them over! They absolutely loved the new coconut shrimp, and the fried chicken was perfectly crunchy and delicious. Beyond the food, the drinks are amazing and the entire evening was well-executed. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service was fast without ever feeling rushed. It is a fantastic spot in Medford for a great meal. Highly recommend! read more

This shopping center located restaurant is really a 4 1/2 star restaurant. We sat outside on a warm but, beautifully breezy evening. My wife had a "very " generous pour of the house Rose and I had an Irish Red beer. Our dinner was a shared house salad with a blueberry vinaigrette. Our main courses were a " Churrasco Y Papas" dish that was thinly sliced streak over potato in a red sauce. I had a "Blackened Ahi Tuna " sandwich. Both were delicious and filling. Trying not to exaggerate, the sandwich was the best I can remember in my long life. Our server Ethan was appropriate, warm, friendly and all was served in a timely manner. We didn't have reservations but were seated in about 15 minutes. The staff was friendly. We ordered the Pesto Halibut, which was delicious, and the Garlic Calabrian Shrimp--creamy, flavorful, and definitely a must-try. The live music made the atmosphere even better. read more

We tried the loaded sweet potato tots for an appetizer as well as our usual choice of the giant pretzel with spicy cheese sauce. I chose the one of the nightly specials for my main which was a spectacular version of crispy duck in corn tortillas with a peach and fennel slaw. The. Others at the table had a wide duty of entrees, from a smoked thru tip sandwich on a baguette a pasta primavera to another order of the duck to another sandwich and fish option . There were some shared desserts including cheese cake with peaches in the filling, some deep fried Oreos with both chocolate and whipped cream dips and a fruit cobbler with ice cream. They even had live music outside for a bit, which added to the atmosphere without being overwhelming. As for the food? Absolutely nailed it. Everything looked gorgeous and tasted even better. You can tell they care about presentation and flavor. I enjoyed the Hawaiian bowl with poke. My friend had the large Caesar salad with chicken - and he appreciated the flavor of the unique Caesar dressing. We were traveling through the area. I found this highly-rated restaurant here on Yelp. It was everything others had already said and more. Very high quality food. Service from Viola (?) was amazing even though she was obviously very busy. I made a note in my journal to come back next time we're in the area. So disappointed with my choice to spend our wedding anniversary at Tap and Vine tonight. A few years ago I had the appetizer Churrasco Y Papas Bravas and I think about it often. I chose tap and vine tonight pretty much solely based on getting that appetizer. We order it and our meals. Our food come out, no appetizer. I was disappointed but thought maybe they are bringing it shortly after not the best but fine. No, we finished eating plates cleared about a hour after ordering the appetizer shows up. I said oh well we already finished our food he said oh I'll take it off then bill, well duh... that's the absolute least you can do. I also was not offered a refill and had to ask for one after I finished eating. ( we were never checked on during our meal by our server so that's why I wasn't able to get a refill or ask about our appetizer. We got a couple of dishes between the five of us and left feeling satisfied and not too full . The beers on tap were a huge draw because nothing quenches your thirst on a 90 degree day like a crisp beer.
