They are so kind, caring and dedicated to taking care of animals. They offer convenient pick up and drop off shuttle service (depending on where you live, I believe) and every time they come to pick Emma up, she is happy to see them and comes home just as happy. Never once have we had any issues with illnesses or concerns about her care while she is there. This past Christmas was Zooky's second boarding with Pet Adventures. Their Ramona location is a nice big lot for the dogs to roam and play with each other. It was the first time I had them pick Zooky up from our house. I love they offer this option for a separate charge. We previously tried another boarding facility and Zooky came home sickly and sad. He now comes home happy after staying with Marlie and Justin. read more

I can't say enough good things about Petventures. I was so apprehensive about where to board my puppy Henry who has never spent the night outside of my home. He has always being weary with strangers, yet Marley and her husband took the time to come and meet him at my home and also made themselves available to meet him a second time and allowed me (very worry-some mom) to visit their facilities to make sure my pup would be safe and happy there. Even more impressive is the fact that they replied to my last minute request and went out of their way to pick up my Henry a day earlier than what we had originally agreed. They sent me videos of my happy pup having the time of his life. They gave me peace of mind and sent me photos and updates...I could not be happier with how accommodating and how comfortable they have made me feel, which is absolutely priceless! read more

what Can I say about Marlie and Justin and Petventures? They are amazing and they treat my three dogs like they were family. Tupac, my yorkie, is best friends with their oldest little girl. Achilles, my morkie likes to keep to himself and away from the crowd, but feels compfortabe coming out of his shell at Petventures Daycare. Darla, my malshi, well she doesnt go as often but she is definitely made to feel like the rock star when she arrives. the pickup and drop off is so amazing, I could not do it, if it werent for that part of the service. They always look out for my pups and alert me to any concerns and when my days have gotten to hectic, they have bathed my pups and cut nails when they so desperately have needed it. Desperately needed service in the Brookings, Gold Beach Curry county area. Had to board our two dogs for the first time ever while we made a medical trip to Medford. Our 1 year old GSD/Flatcoat? X puppy, Shadow, adapted easily, but I was most worried about our 5 year old Skye, Tumble. Those who have seen her in dog group can understand. She acts out her fear with barking and lunging at ALL other dogs. Marlie went out of her way to reassure me, coming to our home to meet the dogs, meeting us for a first play date, letting me come and look at their grounds, taking them (with out us Yikes!) for a second play date, and for a trial overnight run. She sent texts, pictures and videos to keep us informed. Miracle of miracles both Shadow and especially Tumble adapted and had a good time. No trembling when Marlie came to pick them up for the 2 night stay. We trust them with our fur babies and so can you. read more

TRULY AMAZING and such a Godsend! That's what Marlie and Justin are to me and my family! We were worried about who would take care of our sweet puppy Denali when we traveled, but thankfully Denali has found a home away from home at the awesome Petventures Ranch in Ramona. The owners provide door to door service- pick up and drop off (of a fresh smelling bathed and clean dog!) Denali is super excited each time she gets to go on her own little vacation to Petventures! Marlie (a vet tech, so super knowledgeable!) goes above and beyond- with sweet photo/video texts of Denali playing with the other dogs - these updates always make my heart smile :) This wonderful family also fosters dogs- they foster Denali and her litter mates, along with their mama. They were found abandoned in a box, with their mama super skinny trying to provide for her new pups :( Marlie and Justin took them in, fattened them up and gave them the love they needed to thrive! What a blessing to have this family dedicate their lives to animals, so the rest of us pet owners can get away once in a while. I appreciate them more than words could ever express! read more

Marlie and Justin are awesome - if I can say so after one day of daycare as a trial run. I sent them a long-winded email to explain the woes of my previous issues with boarding at a local place so they knew how nervous I was and what was in both mine & Petunia's past. We normally send her next door or to another reputable in-home boarding spot but BOTH are unavailable this weekend so I was PANICKED! I was nervous when Justin came and picked her up this morning (what an awesome service) as she hasn't ridden with anyone else since we adopted her 2 years ago but she seemed comfortable and willing to hop into his SUV! I actually cried a bit after she was gone - we can blame that on pregnancy hormones right? After a couple of hours I hadn't heard anything and was working myself into a frenzy so I texted Marlie and she sent back a picture of my girl playing and said she was having a great time. Marlie dropped her back off around 4:15p - she said she did great and they'd have no problems boarding her. She was weary to come back into the house - she kind of seemed a bit sad and lost - so I'm not sure if she's just mad at me for sending her off or mad to be back home! She checked everything out and then hopped on the couch and passed out - she hasn't even had dinner yet and this girl is punctual with her meal times - she's clearly exhausted which is fantastic. This might be a good thing to do once a week or so (if they'll have us) after the baby comes to keep her happy and tired since I'll be unable to give her as much attention. I can't believe Marlie & Justin drive all the way to Carlsbad and beyond to come do pick-ups & drop-offs as part of the service - it's going to take some getting used to but it's very cool for this very pregnant girl. ***UPDATE - Post Boarding**** I was still feeling a bit anxious when they came to pick her up on Friday morning, but as soon as Petunia saw Justin her tail and butt starting wagging and I knew she was excited. She happily followed him outside and jumped into his truck without looking back (Um, bye?) I immediately relaxed knowing she was so excited to hit the road with him. Marlie sent me updates and pictures throughout the weekend and said she was having a blast and did really great. They dropped her back off on Sunday with our neighbor since we were still a few hours out from returning home. Apparently she wanted to get back in the truck with Justin instead of going back home. I'm trying not feel hurt over the situation! We picked her up, got her fed, and she was out cold, no walk, nothing. The next day we barely dragged her off the couch for breakfast and her walk. She's still pretty tired from her fantastic vacation and I'm thinking it'll be worth the price to send her over for more daycare since she comes home so nice and exhausted! I highly recommend PetVentures - they are FANTASTIC! read more

Petventures is absolutely FANTASTIC! We regularly ask Marlie to take our 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback out on adventures and she does just that. She picks up our precious dog from our front door in Solana Beach, and he gets super excited to see her every time. Her goal is clearly to go out and have fun with the dog to the point that he's quite tired when he gets home. They've gone to Lake MiraMar, to Balboa Park, to Escondido. We met Marlie when she worked at our Vet's office, so we knew she was also capable of keeping our dog safe and sound. She's really patient and loving towards our dog, and we really appreciate having her in our lives. My husband and I would highly, highly recommend Petventures!! read more

Petventures...a very nice place for our dog to stay when we just can't take her with us. The outdoor space was set up perfect for our Comet who is an Austrailian Cattle/Boxer mix. She is large and very active, defiantly had plenty of room to run. Marlie is very helpful and friendly and the place was easy to get to just out of town. Also love that you can just go on line and set everything up there, so easy. Thank you, we will be back! read more

Petventures is our Bishon's favorite home away from home boarding/ daycare facility. Owners Marlie and Justin provide top notch service. They pick Bob up from our home to their home where there are other friendly happy dogs ready to play and socialize. They go on hikes then nap together in a cage free "my home is your home" environment. Bob is always so excited to go and that speaks volumes. We travel a lot and used to worry about boarding him. Marlie was Bob's vet tech when he was a puppy; she has always been amazing with animals. We now travel worry free knowing Bob is in good hands and a very safe and loving environment. read more

I couldn't have had a better experience with Petventures SD. I had a last minute event come up on a Saturday night and Marlie and Justin took in my new Doberman puppy Bruce as if he was there own. During the entire overnight stay I new that Bruce was in good hands and that relief and piece of mind is something that is invaluable! Petventures San Diego is amazing! Our 8 month old golden retriever, Abby, needs tons of exercise and so Petventures is perfect for us. I feel 100% comfortable with sending her because Marlie has a background in veterinary medicine, she worked as a vet tech at the hospital in Solana Beach, so I know if anything happens health or behavior wise she'll be able to assess the situation properly, which is extremely important to me. She takes Abby hiking, to the beach, and to the dog park! If she decides to be a stinker and play in some mud she texts me right away and offers to give her a bath! I absolutely love knowing that she's not just kept up in a kennel day and that she is out playing, running, and learning to be obedient! Plus it's not expensive! It's definitely a win all the way around and I highly recommend sending you pets as much as you can! read more

Petventures is awesome! We recently got a corgi puppy and trying to find places that would take her were next to impossible. Figuring out timing to drop her off and pick her up anywhere else just wouldnt work for my schedule. Marlie is the greatest, she picks up cali so I dont have to worry about it. I 100% trust her with any of my pets! One cali is old enough to go out on petventures I know she is going to have the greatest time! She does now even just staying with marlie and playing with her own dogs! I 100% recommend Marlie above any other. read more
