Rumi shows up twice a day, waking them up, feeding them, taking them for walks, cleaning up after them, and putting Lincoln and Tucker to bed each night. She sends a text with each visit, including a picture of the dogs. We have surveilance video that let's me check in on the dogs when we're away, and I can tell you that she ALWAYS shows up when she says she does, and gives my pups the attention they deserve.

A former scrappy street dog, Penny is pretty leery of who she allows in her inner circle. But Grandma Dee came over for an initial consultation (free!) and Penny was smitten with her immediately. Chun P. and I were gone for two weeks and we were so glad that we didn't have to worry about Penny at all! Grandma Dee came by every day (even dealing with my somewhat difficult Grandmother!) and walked Miss Penny. Miss Penny is frightened of strangers, loud noises, skateboarders, fire trucks, fedex trucks, UPS trucks, mail carriers, old ladies with shopping bags, men with beards, old men with shopping bags, other dogs, children, cats, cyclists, and loves to eat slow lizards and knock over trashcans just to see what tasty morsels are inside during walks. And this is AFTER we've had Penny enrolled in months of 1x1 training classes! (And it's a huge improvement!) Walking her is no easy task! Until now, we hadn't had any major issues. Today, we had an appointment specifically for the rabies and parvo vaccines. After we got home, our dog vomited five times in a row. We called the clinic, and they had us come back in, where he was given two more injections to address the side effects. While on the way back, I reviewed the invoice and noticed that four vaccines had been administered, not just the two we had scheduled. When I asked why this wasn't communicated, the response was, "Next time, clarify which vaccines you want when you check in." I had already done that. The appointment was booked for two specific vaccines, and I clearly mentioned both at check-in. I was then told they automatically give all due vaccines unless otherwise instructed. If that's their policy, it was never clearly explained to me and I plan to review our past vaccination records to verify the vaccines were actually due. To top it off, we were charged $82 for the extra shots to counter the side effects caused by their lack of communication, bringing the total cost of today's visit to over $300. This visit left us feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Lack of transparency, poor communication, and a refusal to take ownership of mistakes cost them our trust and our continued business.

Dr Johnson examined her slowly on the floor, talking to her, introducing herself before jumping straight into prodding and poking. I felt like she listened to our concerns and gave sound, reasonable advice for our elderly girl. The prices were very reasonable to me. Especially after visiting a recent vet we didn't like at Poway for 1 thing and being charged $200 more than we paid today despite addressing multiple complaints today. They were also quite transparent with their prices online. I actually liked our vet visit today rather than leaving stressed and dissatisfied. I am planning to switch our other dog's care over to here too once she's due for her annual visit. We have moved around a lot in the 13 years I've had my dog and this is in my top 2. I'm so glad I found this new vet near me!

After debating on whether or not to board our pets so we could do a week worth of traveling, we took the opportunity to have a full time pet sitter of our 5 cats and 2 dogs so we could ensure our animals were comfortable and taken care of properly. Kate from Pawtails PQ is amazing! She goes out of her way to make sure your pet is taken care of while you're gone. This last time we hired her to watch our beloved dog, Bear, he got sick while we were out of town. Kate is an excellent pet sitter. Our dog has anxiety issues (he was a rescue and has separation anxiety), and she has gone above and beyond with helping us help our dog. She has good knowledge about pet anxiety, and gave us tips on how we could reduce it. Our dog absolutely loves her and has now adjusted well to us leaving on trips. Kate is amazing!!! Its almost as if she is superwoman. Kate is my go to lady when it comes to my pets.
