This most recent stay, my dog was completely emaciated after staying there for 10 days. I could see every rib and bone in his back and haunches. I am disgusted. There is no way that the staff could not notice how visibly skinny he had become. I should have been notified if he wasn't eating and they should have taken him to the vet next door. Instead, I received a report card saying that he cleaned his bowl every day. That is impossible. He eats the same amount at home and gets the same (if not more) amount of exercise. He was completely neglected by the staff and the amount of weight he lost staying there is criminal. The first 2 photos are how he looked before Lucy's at 70 lbs, the second 2 are after Lucy's. I will never take my dog there again. Ever.

I understand there is limited staff, and I realize they have to turn their attention to other customers and tasks, but I would have liked to watch our dog more through the back windows before committing to leaving her there for the day. I'm guessing there were between 70 and 100 dogs in the play area, and most seemed well-adjusted and content. However, it seemed a bit much, and I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving our dog there. She loves playing but could not connect with any specific dog and was overwhelmed by the many dogs showing interest in her. We watched for at most 10 minutes, and the whole time, she was looking to hide, running from the other dogs with her tail between her legs. The staff was present, monitoring behavior and cleaning up, so the issue for me is the number of dogs, not the staff. I asked if there was a maximum number of dogs they allowed, and without a yes or no, I was told the number of kennels they had, which was over 250. The kennels can hold more than one dog at a time, so it's feasible that 300 dogs could be there if all the kennels were full. The kennels are in a climate-controlled warehouse-type area with individual chain-link "suites" and the regular areas. The difference is a little more square footage, and a webcam comes with the suite. I'd summarize this place as the big box store of doggy daycares where you'll get everything you need, but not necessarily the best experience for the pet. This review is based on my personal experience. I am not seeking a refund, to be made whole again, or for changes to be made. It is simply informative.

They claimed people walking through there get the dogs barking. So are your employees invisible then? Because they have to walk through there. Those photos on their site could have been from anywhere! I guess they aren't washing bedding between pets either, or my dog wouldn't have fleas because she had none when I dropped her off! She wouldn't have smelled so bad either. She doesn't play with other dogs, or go to dog parks, so there is no chance from getting fleas that way. This place used to be a LOT better than it is now. And the smell when you walk in the door will knock you over. Never smelled that bad when we used them before and that was in the heat of the summer! Also, it was really hot in there this morning when it was only 65 outside so it's not even kept cool for the pets. It's supposed to be climate controlled. So, disappointed in this place! Idk if they are under new management or what because we haven't used them since 2024, but my dog will NEVER stay there again. My daughter's cat also unfortunately stayed there in a "deluxe suite". It's nothing more than a small cage she is kept in like at a shelter. There's NOTHING deluxe about it. I specifically asked them to leave her travel crate with her because my daughter put a shirt in there that smells like her to comfort the cat, when I picked her up they got the travel crate from a storage room and the shirt was still in it. This cat loves her travel crate and when the guy handed her to me in it he said, "she hates the crate". No, she loves it! She lays in it in my daughter's apartment during the day sometimes because it comforts her. Idk what they did but she was acting like she didn't want to be in it at all! She meowed the entire way home. She had been silent on the ride there to drop her off though. The cat smelled bad, too. So, we paid a fortune for them to neglect our animals, and not do what we asked, and refused to let me see where my dog was staying (suspicious), and charged me for a "deluxe suite" (crate) to keep the cat in. Complete sham! Why is it so hard to find a place that will take good care of your pets for you when you have to travel?! Lastly, I got pictures of our dog every day and she looked sad in all of them. But my daughter only got any photos of her cat the last day she stayed there. Pretty sure that was the only time they let her out of that crate! I don't trust these ppl and my babies will NEVER stay there again!

It has a nice time range of drop off and pick up times which helps with Dad's schedule and ensures that I get to come home without delay. I like that we get an opportunity to play outside 90 minutes at a time, 3 times a day. The outdoor area is 1/2 covered and 1/2 in the sun, which gives me options in various weather conditions. Since I'm just a year old and under 40 lbs, the helpers also put me in the small doogie group with others my size, so we can play together. There is a separate area to go potty and plenty of time set aside to rest. The owner is friendly and answered questions quickly. After an interview, updated shots, and a 3 hour daycare trial , it was determined that I could come back here for an overnight stay. The 4'x6' kennels are big enough to get a good night sleep. It's a good thing Dad remembered the dog mat because the floors are concrete and would have been too cold for me. Glad we found this place because next to sticking to Dad and Mum like velcro, this boarding facility is a good fit when they can't be with me.

It's been two and a half hours and still no call. I'll drive a bit further to the 1604 location or look for another dog bather.

They ensure all vaccinations are current so your dog will be safe and complete temperament tests before your dog interacts with the pack. My boy was recently adopted from the Animal Defense League and he was so scared. I am sure he never experienced Doggy daycare before. They were patient with him and loved on him as if he was their own. When he got really nervous they separated him and gave him some space. He is now a regular several times a week. They have great financial packages, offer tons of services and soon they will opening the area to wash your own doggies. They also offer free day care if you have a primary dog and foster another and they are dropped off together. How amazing is that!!!!!! Ten stars goes to Lucy's.

Our vet is Dr. Lane Smith who is such a personable, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring person. He takes the time to examine our cats, make an assessment and the necessary steps for treatment. We may only see the vet once a year for the routine exams but it feels so personal and are never rushed. We've interacted with some vet techs and who are also knowledgeable, personable & gentle with our cats. It can be such a stressful time during the visit as our cats can hear and see dogs whining or barking so the techs can put them at ease and take care of business in the back as quickly as possible. We've had different visits ranging from a simple routine exam to treating allergies, teeth cleaning, diagnostic tests, stomach ailments, infections and labs. For minor procedures, we've received followup calls to see how our cat is doing the next day. I even remember during the Pandemic in 2020, we were able to take our cat to get a routine exam and vaccinations. We parked our car outside and the techs took the carrier in and back out. Everything was done swiftly and professionally. This recent visit, we took our cat in because of some bumps on his skin. We weren't sure what they were and it turned out to be allergies. After a thorough explanation we decided on an antibiotic shot to treat the symptom. Allergies were bad this year for everyone even our animals! A few years ago, we had an older cat that would be hit with seasonal allergies and seemed miserable and Dr. Lane actually made a house visit to administer a steroid shot to make her feel better. We appreciated that personal and caring service and I will always remember that. My husband actually met Dr. Lane at my husband's previous job so they know each other on a personal level. That helps! If our cat is having issues, we can usually contact him or the office and get a visit the next day and sometimes they'll fit us in that same day! The front desk clerks are efficient and helpful as well. Ambiance: There's a beverage area in the lobby where you can get Keurig coffee and a small refrigerator with beverages while you wait. Rooms have health-related pamphlets. I like how I see Bible passages in the decor and it makes me realize where the values and compassion project in the office's customer service, care, demeanor and dedication. I highly recommend this office!!
