We had never used a kennel before, and were a little apprehensive due to our lack of experience. However, my daughter was very familiar with Sundance and highly recommended it. So, we decided to give it a try. I reached out and got a quick response. After confirming the dates I was looking for, they were clear in their communication with rates, what was needed (up to date Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines) and what was available (food, walks, playtime and medical administering). Dogs have their own "runs" with indoor and outdoor spaces and comforts from home are welcome (your own food, treats and toys). Morning and late afternoon hours are available for drop offs, which is very convenient. We added 3 walks a day and 3 playtime sessions. The outdoor time really helped our tripod acclimate to her new surroundings, even though she was a bit timid at first. The staff was very understanding of our initial concerns, and very reassuring. They took good care of her, making sure to keep an eye out and give us up dates. If you've never used a kennel before, Sundance is a great place to start. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, well kept grounds and immaculate kennels. I'm happy we found a kennel we can trust!

The staff really take the time to know the animals and the owners. They do all of my grooming (I have rescue huskies) and are still cheerful even when my dog(s) have displayed less than ideal attitudes and behaviors. In addition, they carry an extensive line of Fromm products, which is the only type of dog food I have used since 1993.

The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. We are well aware of the fact that Vom Regis' GS are not AKC registered, however Cindy has stated many times that she has the papers and will send them. We are being stonewalled and are at a loss as to why. Given the high cost of the puppy, which is standard for the West German lines, the bloodline verification should be automatic. We would suggest that if you are going to purchase from this breeder, you get the bloodline information with the contract and before you pay.

But I've seen these dogs literally not leave their kennels, eat their own poop, FIGHT over eating their poop, and if you mention to her-"hey I think you need this for the dogs" it's a battle. Happy to know that she now works for Tracy's and booked an appointment right away with ease. No waiting for weeks. My husband said that Koda was so happy to see Angela!! By far the best trainer we've had to date! I live in Los Angeles but I'm from the Chicago land…read morearea. I rescued a puppy, for my Grandma, that was born on the day my grandpa passed away. Usually I train the puppies before I bring them out to her. This time I didn't. I wanted her to have him asap to help w the grief. My grandpa also had a dog, that never left his side and was with him the night he passed. After his passing we brought her to the funeral so she understood he wasn't coming home. After several tries of nudging him in the casket, kissing him and booping her nose to his nose to try to wake him up she realized he wasn't this time. After the funeral her behavior changed and she started marking everywhere in the house. Not knowing she was marking and bringing a puppy into the mix, made the situation alot more chaotic. My grandmas also in a wheelchair and depends on others for help. Which made things harder for her to train her puppy. After numerous phone calls, either being told it was nearly impossible to do what I needed help with or it's was gonna cost as much as giving them my first born, I nearly gave up. UNTIL.... Richard came to my rescue! When I talk to Richard for the first time, I got a sense of peace and a chance for hope. Instead of him telling me that this situation was an obstacle beyond imagination, or not possible, he took the challenge. He warned me it might take time, given the circumstances that I was pretty much putting him in and limiting what he could and couldn't do. But, he was willing to try and not charge me my first born. After the first session, we saw results that didn't seem reachable in the beginning. We've been able to break my grandpas dog from marking all over the house and the puppy's on his way to being pee pad trained. We still have more work to do but the progress so far gives the positive reassurance to keep going and not quitting. I highly recommend Richard to anyone and everyone! He's truly one of a kind
