We used to go to Pet Smart because our fur baby loved the groomer, Angela and she was so loving to our finicky, Koda. When Angela left, we were sad and tried other groomers in Pet Smart and near the area. No one compared to her. Happy to know that she now works for Tracy's and booked an appointment right away with ease. No waiting for weeks. My husband said that Koda was so happy to see Angela!! He was also was impressed with the place. Clean grounds. Pleasant staff. Koda loved seeing the horses on the farm and looked satisfied with his hair cut. We love Angela's work!! Our fur baby is happy again and looks very handsome!! Definitely recommend Tracy's!! read more

These ladies and gentlemen, that work at this doggy haven are just so great... professional, organized, caring and gentle. I have a 16-year-old dog and a 7 yr old dog and both of them feel at home there. We've had stays from two nights to seven nights and the dogs always come home settled. I am so happy that I chose to board my fur baby here! Ranger is a 6 year old, overly hyper, chocolate lab and had such a great time running around at Tracy's! He stayed for 10 days while I traveled and that's the longest I've ever left him for. I emailed about halfway through his stay to check on him and received a reply within 24 hours. When I picked him up they sent him home with a bag of treats and I even got a coffee cup :) Cannot recommended this place enough! Will definitely only board here in the future. read more

The place is nice and clean, but my dog got kennel cough there. When I called them to notify about it, they told me they knew of the issue, and that all dogs boarded there got it. I'm upset because if they knew the virus was going around they could have told me. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Tracy's was wonderful when Tracy owned it - new owners and all new staff = lack of caring! We had scheduled our pets boarding in advance (Tracy's was up for sale but not sold). We have 2 Australian shepherd rescues (with behavior and reactive issues - they are rescues!) and a 12 yo retriever that has frequent health issues. They all stayed with Tracy earlier this year and the 2 shepherds settled in once they were brought back to the kennel, and we were out of their sight. I contacted the staff at Tracy's 3 times prior to us bringing them after we heard the place had sold to see if they wanted us to bring the 2 shepherds to make sure they would be okay and that they could handle them - I was told "no, they were here before with no issues so no need to bring them prior". We were also considering behavioral training (which the new owners offer) in the future to help them to be less reactive and stressed. We were due to go on vacation (had to be at the airport at 5 a.m.), so we brought the dogs there around 4:30 the night before (we are very cautious and muzzle 1 of the sheherds because he is very protective and reactive). Long story short, the 2 shepherds were having no part of the changes of atmosphere (they're very smart and intuitive) and wanted to leave (1 slipped his collar and the other lunged at the workers). Yes, the one muzzled did lunge, but he didn't react until a second person was called up front and he reacted that that person, not the original person that was going to bring him to the kennel. I was told that we could leave them, but they would be given "minimal basic care", whatever that means. We were going to be gone for almost 2 weeks, so my obvious response was that my dogs would not be left there under any circumstances.............we made a call to Shel-Ray Pet Shalet after we left Tracy's and we were able to board them there (we were going to have to cancel flights if we were unable to board them at Shel-Ray due to the last minute change of plans). When we got to Shel-Ray, neither one of the shepherds slipped their collars nor had to be muzzled and they didn't lunge or become agitated. If you're in the business to board peoples pets, and offer behavioral training, you should be able to accommodate and adapt to all pets and never say you'll give "basic minimal care" to a pet parent.... read more

Boarded all 5 of my beast at Tracy's for a full week and I can't tell you how happy we are that we chose them! For years we have boarded my pups at the other place and we picked them up stinky, under weight and completely stressed out. Not at Tracy's. They were happy, healthy and they didn't stink! My English bulldog Chunk agrees that the staff were awesome, along with the accommodations. He recommends along with my frenchy, my 2 pits, and my Wiener dog that Tracy's doggone farm is a must for your pooch..... We have a male dog-aggressive Akita. We were visiting family in IL, and we left our dog at Tracy's Doggone Farm for one week. We have experienced many kennels in several different states. I can honestly say none of them have treated our dog as good as Tracy's. He was barely excited to see us when we picked him up. At other kennels, our dog would come home with a red soar on his nose from trying to get to other dogs. This was not the case here. We would definitely recommend and use them in the future. We cannot comment on their grooming services as we didn't utilize that service. read more

Great place to board your dog. I boarded my Lab for 2 weeks here and she was taken care very well. Separate quarters for the dog and individual play time package helped my dog . They also administer medication as per the instructions. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. The only con for me was the long drive from home but it is definitely worth it as your dog is going to have a safe home away from home. Facility is also clean. Highly recommend for pet owners seeking quality and affordable dog boarding , look nowhere else. read more

I drive from 40 minutes away to board my 4 dogs with Tracy and her family. I trust them completely after I didn't want to take vacations for a few years after some weird experiences with other dog sitters. Tracy has watched my dogs for as little as one week up to three weeks, and she doesn't mind when I call or email to check in half way through. My dogs get excited when we turn onto the property because they know they are going to take a vacation, too. We opt for the grooming when we pick them up, and they are the ONLY ones who can cut one of my dog's nails. They have very good prices, so book early during popular times to secure a spot! I brought my dogs to Tracy's for a two day stay and they seemed perfectly happy when I picked them up. Tracy was amazing and was the ONLY kennel in the area that allowed me to pick up my dogs on labor day (we had gotten married at our home over the weekend and wanted to pick them up prior to the honeymoon). I should have written the review then, however I am glad I waited. Tracy has been OUTSTANDING again. We left to drive to FL for a cruise on 12/25 and left the dogs (all 4) with a new pet sitter. Things went from bad to worse as the dogs were very stressed and ended up getting into a fight while the new sitter was with them. I had to emergently call someone to take one dog to the vet (minor injury thank God) and I called Tracy, she agreed to take all 4 dogs that day and even allowed them to be dropped off immediately. My pup that had the injury was given all of her medications and Tracy even caught the fact that the vet was overmedicating her! She called my vet and the medications were adjusted. I picked up the dogs yesterday and they were in perfect condition and excited to go home. The stress level during this time for my husband and I overwhelming. I was trying to handle all of this while being 5 months pregnant and far away knowing that I would be out of cell phone/email range for quite some time. We can not thank Tracy and her team enough for all of their wonderful care of our pups. I have boarded dogs in the past and have been unhappy (hence hiring dog sitters) however I won't be doing that in the future, we will be using Tracy from now on. **Edited** I had to bring two of my dogs for boarding in Feb of 2017 as we had some contractors in our home during the day. When I arrived I was told that they "didn't have my vaccine records". As we have boarded at least 4 previous times I could not believe this. They contacted our vet and got proof of the ones that the vet had however the vet was still missing rabies on one of my dogs. I had to take that dog back home and she stayed locked in a kennel while there were contractors in and out all day, can't imagine something more stressful for a German Shepherd. The person at the desk was pretty nonchalant and did not care that they lost the records or that I had to wait such a long time to get records last minute then had to still take one of my dogs home. This is unacceptable for any business. Our visit previously to this was similar, although at that time they were able to "find" the vaccination records. We won't be making tracys our first choice in the future. read more

My parents and I are going on a trip next month and thought it would be a good idea to bring our puppy to daycare a couple days a week, so that she could get used to being on her own. They brought her to Tracy's and were told that she would only spend time with other small dogs her size (she is about 10 lbs). When they picked her up from day care today, my puppy couldn't put any weight on one of her hind legs. They told my dad that she had been trampled on by the other dogs - which is baffling to me because we were told that she would only be hanging out with other dogs her size. My dad said the person who he picked her up from sounded nonchalant about the situation - which seems to me like she was trying to brush off the situation like it was nothing serious, to avoid anyone from getting upset. I keep asking myself, how could "other small dogs" cause so much damage? The only thing I can think of is that her foot was stepped on hard by a human. It was either a human, or she lied and keeps all the dogs together, regardless of size, and was negligent. I'm so sad because my usually energetic and excited puppy is in pain, and not moving. She limps on 3 legs when she has to move and screams when you touch her foot. I am scared that her foot is broken. It's hard to be thankful of anything right now, except for the fact that we didn't leave her at Tracy's for a week while on vacation next month. Please don't bring your dog here! Needless to say we will never return either. read more
