Bought a trim package. My dog dies so I go 4 months without a trim. I had 4 trims left on my package. Krista says the trims in my package expire after 6 months so the 4 i have in my balance are no good. Money is money and if you buy a ticket, you can redeem it regardless. She hands out this BS that the packages are like a gift card, not a pre-purchase as it's states in her terms of service. Nowhere are her Terms of service available to read. Out of sight, out of mind, like they don't exist. Then says her lawyers have told her what's she's doing is legit. i can't even find her business registration on line. It's all a ruse! This is a long overdue review for K D Nail Trims. Krista did our dog's nails for years. Not once did we ever receive any paperwork or sign anything. She says our trims expired in 6 months which is absolute hogwash. We would have never have bought a package had we known they expired in 6 months. Our dogs simply have never needed to get their nails cut so often. We had 4 nail trims left onOur package and she would not let us use them. Also she responded addressing me on a review my husband left not me. I would like to add 1/2 the time we would have to leave multiple messages until we got a reply. She could never fit our dog in because she was sick or many other excuses. When she would not honor the remaining nail trims she offered a new package at a "discounted price" which was actually the same price every one else got. I would suggest that people not pay ahead for her services as she is both unreliable and she won't return messages. She also lied quite a few times which we were able to prove by glancing g at her Facebook. I feel like we simply got ripped off by someone who conducted their business very poorly. I would like to add good luck if she ever shows up on time. She was often late or wouldn't show up at all and it was always my fault. Krista came out today for the first time to do our French bulldogs tails. I have to say in all my life of owning dogs this has been the BEST nail trimming experience ever!! Huberts nails look so good! Hubert had a bad experience once at the vet during covid getting his nails done and he has had a hard time trusting. We love KD nail trims! I had tried trimming my dog's nails myself but he is sensitive to the clipper and I don't feel comfortable or competent in being able to do it without error. I had previously taken my dog to a groomer, he would get stressed out walking back and being leashed up on the grooming table, and sometimes try to nip at the groomers which made it a hard experience for both of us and at a lot of places you couldn't get a nail trim without booking an additional service that my dog doesn't need. Krista does an amazing job with nail trims on our 115lb. Rott/Shepard mix Jaxx. She's professional, patient and gentle with him. He absolutely loves her and falls out for belly rubs every time she shows up to our home. We've taken him to other groomers in the past but he never cared for them and they struggled to get him to sit still. Krista comes in and he knows what to do and lays there to get his nails cut. We obviously had a misunderstanding of the day I scheduled (I wrote it on my calendar as we spoke!) for krista to come to my home and cut my 2 dogs nails. She showed up at my house and called me. I wasn't home and felt terrible, but told her I could be home within 10 minutes. She assured me it was no big deal, she had another appointment 10 minutes away and would be back the next day at 5:00. I made sure I was home! After she hadn't shown up at 5:30 I called her. She didnt answer and her v.m. was full, so I text her asking if we were still on for that night....no response. I waited til 6 and tried again - no answer, no response! She never responded to my texts or called me to apologize for not showing up or to reschedule. Who would run a business like that??? So where do I begin . Completely unreliable for appointment times that have been set ahead of time. Repeatedly missed with no call no show . It took me to reach out to find out what happened . And then to be told oh I forgot and set up another appointment only to be missed again . In the meantime I bought a package keep in mind a package and was charged twice!!! The package is for 6 trims and so far was only to get one trim ! Again another no call no show even though I had given her another chance . So now I've asked for all my money back $175 after all the disserve I've been given only to be told I'll be in a federal prison for trying to get my money back thru my bank !!! So I highly do not recommend this business at all unless you want to go thru the same thing I did ! I have been more than accommodating than most people would be. Krista is Amazing! We learned about her a couple of years ago when our dog Jax was about 10. He always had a hard time when it came to getting his nails cut, and as he got older it was harder for him so we thought we'd give her a try and it was such a great experience for him! She continued to trim his nails until we had to put him down. When we got our new puppy, we called Krista right away to get her used to getting her nails cout. She's almost 2 now and she loves to see Krista every few weeks. Krista has a busy schedule but she has always gotten back to us within a day or two when we contact her. This is the first time I've used KD Nail Trims and the experience was fantastic. My 18 month old lab is huge, stubborn, and high energy. Trimming his nails is even difficult for groomers, who really don't want to groom him. Let's just say, everyone at the pet store knows Dragon and not in a good way. She was patient, guided us to the right positions to hold him down, and was able to trim them despite his aggression. Imagine a highly independent, 100lb pup who doesn't want to sit still or have his nails trimmed, but she did it! She was on time, worked with my schedule the day of, and was really pleasant. She didn't look at him as a pain in the butt like other have, and really understands a lot of dogs just don't do well with nail trims. It was the first time in a long time where someone in the industry didn't make me feel like a complete, utter failure as a pet parent. I highly recommend using her services. The biggest issue is she is always late or she no shows with no contact. She's not great at communicating, and when you get ahold of her she is nice. She can be a bit "I'm doing you a favor" without realizing she needs my business more than I need hers. If it was not disclosed, then the refund should be given. She actually should have refunded it on principle alone, based on all of the inconveniences that she caused to our family. read more

We have a dog aggressive dog and had been looking for a way to get his nails cut without bringing him somewhere with dogs everyone. We tried KD Nail Trims over a year ago and have even working with Krista ever since! Krista is patient with our difficult dog, Pete. She makes sure he has a positive experience with her and offers to give him treats once we are done. Outside of taking care of Pete's nails, Krista is a wealth of knowledge and has talked us through suggestions to keep Pete's allergies under control which have been SO incredible. I made an appt on her website and didn't hear anything until 2:30am, the morning of the appt. The appt was declined. Krista is wonderful with my dogs she comes right to my home my dogs are more relaxed. I'm on a monthly schedule she is always on time. Her prices are reasonable, and she even offers discounted packages from time to time. I haven't gone anywhere else for well over a year now.
