The biggest fear of any pet owner is leaving your fur baby with a facility for boarding. I have 2 dogs who I love more than anything and I HATE leaving them. PetSuites fishers has been my place. I have 2 high maintenance dogs and the staff there legit goes out of their way to cater to each of them. Is it pricy? Yes, absolutely, but when it comes to my dogs, I just want them to be taken care of. I've never had a problem and they provide daily progress reports for each of my dogs. I've dropped my babies off probably double digit times and it's always tough, but the people there really do care about my dogs. The only place I trust to board my dogs. read more

After driving by a zillion times, we thought we'd give PetSuites a shot. We booked a grooming appointment and being able to get in right away should have been our first clue that perhaps the quality wasn't the highest. Our appointment was for 9am and we arrived a few minutes early. There was one person working the counter & she was working with another customer. Once she got to us, it took another 15 minutes to get my dog checked in. (Our veterinarian hadn't sent in Max's shot record and the person behind the counter handled this very well. It took two minutes.) When I came back in the afternoon to pick up Max I was SHOCKED to see how BAD he looked. A little flustered and having to get back to the car as my husband was waiting, I didn't speak up. Max was shaved! I requested a "puppy cut" which is a term familiar to any groomer I've ever worked with. What's worse, poor Max was UNEVENLY SHAVED. Poor fella has little tufts of hair poking out here & there. Brought our cat here, and they are certainly not cat lovers. Very unfriendly toward cats. Pushed us out as soon as they took him from us and told us we asked too many questions though we were just first time boarders. Tried to overcharge us by putting tons of fees etc on (like daily reports for six days even though he was only there for three) and told us they would not be adjusting the price since we didn't realize all the ways they were overcharging us before we left. I am writing this review based on my parents' experience leaving their two dogs (a yorkie and a toy poodle) at PetSuites fishers location. Will give zero star if I could. I trusted the reviews online and left my two small dogs in their care for about two weeks while I was abroad. I had divided and prepared their food for each meal for each day (their medicine+food) in the zip lock pouches and specifically did that bc they take different meds morning and evening. We had told them one of them had a disabled leg and both dogs needed to go to the bathroom on pee pads(which we provided plenty enough) because that's how the dogs were trained. On the day we dropped them off (6/22/19), the staff told us that we needed to come back to give the dogs their food bowls. We came back to check on them with their food bowls and the dogs were literally sitting up on the cold cement floor. I asked the staff to give the dogs their pee pads which then they placed on the cement floor. Long story short when I came to pick them up, one of them was malnourished and the other was chunky. And they were tired and looked like those dogs who didn't get a lot of attention. Granted I know the place is not like home and it was filled with other dogs so i should've never expected a lot. It was probably a lot for them to separate my dogs every time they ate(twice a day). But also more morning pouches were left than the dinner pouches which tells me the staff didn't feed my dogs few mornings. After I picked them up around 6p and came home, they slept til 8am next morning. I know they were exhausted because normally when they're home they wake up a couple of times a night to pee. Anyway people, just know no one can actually provide the care as an actual family would. read more

Ive been trying to find a place to take my dog to socialize him, so last week on Sept 1 22 I took my dog to Pet Suites- Fishers for an initial visit & "assessment" this went well. I had communication from the staff about how things were going twice in the almost 5hrs he was there. I found out when I picked him up that for doggie-daycare they are left outside ALL day, my dog is not used to being outside in hot weather for long periods of time so this wasn't for us. I then was told doggy-day-boarding they are outside in the morning, come in to a kennel for a short break & go back out in the afternoon. I then spoke with Ashley & asked her if I could request (& would gladly pay more if I needed) to make sure that in the afternoon between "group play" as they call it that my dog be inside in the kennel for 3 hours to let him rest. I also asked if I could bring food for a lunch and snacks. I was told yes, so I booked doggy day boarding for today Sept 7 22 to give it a try. *WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK* I was not told during the first visit that a tour of the facility was available to dog parents so today, when I picked him up, I asked to take one. I wanted to see the areas where they play, how they keep the dogs separated, & what the kennels look like. The young girl that checked me out was very sweet I didn't ask her name bc at the time I didn't think it was necessary. She told me let's take the tour then I can take you to the kennel he is in and we will get him, I said great idea! She showed me the areas which were basic but looked safe & clean. As we walked toward the kennels to get my dog I saw him in the first row, she kept walking, I found this weird but followed her, we walked to the very last row to a kennel that had my dogs bag & belongings I brought with him but NO DOG! The young girl said "oh..." I said I saw him up there when we walked past, she said you did. We walked to the front row where my dog was in a smaller kennel alone with none of his comforts from home and NO IDENTIFICATION! The young girl that was with me apologized multiple times and went to get his stuff. While I stood waiting for her I decided to take my dog out of the kennel myself. 5 employees, 5! walked past me and not 1 said a word to me about taking the dog out or walking around holding a dog that had no ID on. When the girl returned with his belongings I told her I wasn't upset with her, but that if there was a manager I would like to speak with them. I spoke with Melissa...I told her I was disappointed that I left my dog my child really in what I thought was secure hands, and was sadly mistaken. This would be UNACCEPTABLE for a parent of a human child to show up at daycare and their child be unaccounted for, its UNACCEPTABLE & APPALLING to me as the parent of a fur child for the same to happen. She told me she understood as her pets are her children too and that some dogs during play time are collar thief's, NOT AN ACCEPTABLE RESPONSE. If this is the case then you need to put a pic of the dog that should be in each kennel on the outside, or the staff that is out "watching" the dogs during group play need to be aware when this happens and put a new one on!! The food & treats I had brought were in the same individual bags with his belongings on top of the kennel he was "suppose" to be in, clearly meaning he had not been in the kennel & was likely without a name tag & outside ALL DAY his nails appear as if he was running on concrete all day- the quick is showing on some! Melissa told me she would "talk to her staff" If you read reviews this is the typical response they give, we will talk to our staff and use the feedback to do better. I really thought this place was going to do right by me and my puppy. They talked a really good game but completely messed my puppy's haircut up! When i say I'm pissed i mean it!!!!! The "groomer" called me after my dog had been there for 4-5 hours to tell me she couldn't groom my dog because he was too hyper. She said every time i try to clip him he "wiggles his butt". Excuse me....he's a puppy! Not to mention he's only 8 pounds! She took a chunk of hair on his back and didn't even try to blend it. She also did the same with hair between his eyes. She left my puppy looking a f$&@ing mess!!!!!!!!!! Oh let me not forget that this horrible establishment still had the nerve to charge me $60!!!!!! You charge me $60 for f$&@ing my dog up?! The nerve of you! The manager should be ashamed of her workers and herself! I'm apart of a big dog community and i will make it my duty to share my experience. I literally cried while driving home because they did such a horrible job! I also never got a sorry or anything. I paid my money, held in my anger and tears and just left. I'll never return and i pray nobody else has to experience what i went through! When i left i called other groomers and they couldn't believe how they did my dog. They said it sounds like the groomer didn't know what she was doing and was being lazy! I 100% agree with them and it pitiful! UPDATE... The manager Amanda just reached out to me and i must say she was very pleasant, listened to me and made things right. Now that is how you run a business! I applaud her for the professionalism and I'm willing to give them another chance with my baby but not with that groomer. I like PetSmart on 82nd street better. It's really open and everyone is really nice. I like the more detailed reports at petsmart. I guess it's just a better fit for my dogs at petsmart. I did puppy preschool and do recommend it. I think it's just over stimulating for my two dogs and I guess the staff ratio at other places works better for me. I rate a 3 because of the lacking info progress reports and questions upon pick up. Maybe I'm too spoiled at petsmart. I would feel okay boarding them here but it wouldn't be my first choice. I understand dogs pee a lot, mine do too. But it did smell like pee which is the second reason for the three. Management and trainer and all staff very knowledgeable. Give it a try first class free and they do thorough assessments. Good referral program. Maybe I should try again. read more

FIVE STARS for the boarding/daycare - Our dog spent a week here for boarding and a grooming. I recommend it for boarding. They do a good job with boarding and spending time with him. ONE STAR FOR GROOMING -I do NOT recommend the grooming though. As you can see, there are quite a lot of bad reviews for the grooming. Our dog did not look groomed at all. My dog has been attending daycare here and has recently been boarded for over a week while I was on vacation. They took AMAZING care of my pittie girl and even when she came down with possible kennel cough, they coordinated a vet visit, medicine and paid for everything up to $500 as part of their pet health boarding policy. I was extremely grateful to have so many dog lovers caring for her and playing with her individually when she had to be quarantined outside of group play following the visit (it was a precaution which I appreciated as would other dog parents with their dogs there as well). Everything is convenient through their app and they are very transparent in their communication and care. They require dog flu vaccine, which is a very elective vaccine with any vet we've ever had. I also question the level of monitoring and care as our dog came home injured on more than one occasion and he's a dog who is very used to group-play environments. I have been taking my shih tzu, Samara, here for years to get groomed. There are often $5 coupons sent through the mail. They always do a great job. I always feel bad because my shih tzu is pretty rough when I take her in. She always looks so pretty when she is finished. Anytime I have visited- the place is really clean. I used to work here, and out of all of the boarding/daycare facilities I've worked at this place has got to be the absolute best! The staff are so caring towards their animals! They have so many fun add-ons to choose from. And always have the cutest holiday celebrations for the pups! When I used to work here, I brought my dog to daycare all the time and she had a blast! I never boarded my pup here, just simply due to the fact I didn't need her boarded through the time I was there, and I personally don't like boarding my pup in general just due to her past trauma (she's a rescue), but if I had to board her, this is the only place I'd feel comfortable taking her! The groomer Monica is absolutely amazing, and so easy going! And her grooms always come out super stinkin cute! Amanda, Caitie, Cody, Karissa, and Makayla are truly the best! And Leanne the trainer is so patient and awesome! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for Boarding, daycare, training, and/or grooming! So I haven't actually boarded my dog here yet, but so far so good. I stopped by this past Saturday to take a look around and was very pleased with what I saw. The staff is super friendly and the place looks really clean and inviting. I was there for about 30 minutes and I could tell that the employees really liked what they were doing and really cared about the animals. They have a couple options as far as the size of the area you can keep your dog in. You can also add things such as extra playtime and socialization with the other dogs. Prices aren't too bad; they're pretty similar to other boarders in the area and they're priced according to the size of the dog. As far as cat prices go, I'm not sure. I'm dropping my dog off at the end of this week so I'll see how he likes it and update my review : ) read more

I brought my Goldendoodle and Bernedoodle for a day of boarding and a grooming for both the following day before we picked them up. The front staff was not at all friendly and did not seem like dog lovers in any way. When we picked them up the following day (we were never given a call when they were done) both dogs were nearly unrecognizable and had the WORST grooming I have ever experienced. Both dogs had EXTREMELY uneven cuts. Both dogs felt dirtier and smelled worse than when I brought them in before the grooming. There is no way they were bathed. We had to bath both dogs when we got home. Our Goldendoodle was very matted when we brought her in because I had a serious back injury and was not able to brush her like I normally would, so I expected her to be shaved this time. Just not shaved in such an uneven mess. For the $200 I would expect so much better. When we were given their blankets and toys they were covered in urine. One of our dogs vomited when we got home and the food was not what we had provided. I had provided more than enough food for them both and none was returned to me. They were hungry, thirsty and immediately used the restroom outside when we walked out the door. Our dogs appeared to be very poorly cared for and I will never be using Pet Suites again. read more

My dog comes here for grooming and dayplay and boy does she have a blast!! She falls asleep on the car ride home she's so tired from playing! The staff always welcomes her by name when we enter the building and that always gets her tail wagging!! She loves cuddles and the staff is always willing give her some! Highly recommend! read more

My dogs didn't start coming to this location until January of this year. I have a Great Dane and a Black Lab. I have been a customer of PetSuites for 3 years. If you had to pick between going here or NW Indy, choose NW Indy. I say this because they at least liked and cared for my dogs while in their care. I cannot say the same for this location. This location is smaller and I was also in able to go in the back after our dogs completed 3 weeks of training and it honestly, just isn't as nice of a facility. Things need updated. The Resort Manager Amanda is nice and communicates clearly and efficiently but she isn't really the person that is the one dealing with you on a day to day basis. I came to this location from NW Indy because basically I was rude due to poor management at the other location; however, Fishers has a trainer named Jarod. He is trained and informed about animals and their behaviors. His thoughts and approaches to animal training are good but I don't think he is able to fully train due to the constraints of the facility setting. I decided to send my dogs to the 21 day stay and play. This was at the cost of $3500.00. Jarod was honest with me and told me that he didn't think that day play would ever be the best setting for my black lab because she is anxious and that she doesn't really seem to like other dogs. He is right and we agreed. He really didn't seem to think that Molly would benefit from coming back to Petsuites and being in that setting would be good for her in general. He did say that Kash would probably be ok. Kash had, had issues at NW Indy but since his training I had started him on medicine and had seen great improvements in him, which was very exciting. I wanted to try him in group again and was excited to give it a go. I mean we did just spend $3500 in training with Petsuites right? So I sent a text message to them to inquire about bringing him in and was met with a bunch of made up BS that has brought our relationship to an end. Caitie, the assistant manager says she called NW Indy and that Cai told her that Kash was only allowed solo play since he bit another dog. Well that's strange since my dog Molly also bit another dog and she's been in group play ever since. It's also strange since that isn't the case or how it was. I have almost 3 years of text messages that prove my case BUT, I've decided I don't want to go where my dogs are not wanted and that is exactly what the case is here. They have never liked or even pretended to like Kash or Molly. When my dogs stayed for their 3 weeks, Kash lost 10 pounds, verified by a vet visit. I called Petsuites to ask about this. Did I get an apology? NOPE. I got from Catie "it's normal, in this setting for an animal to be stressed, also he's always jumping around, so he was burning off more energy." I think what happened is neglectful. Kash is also allergic to peanut butter, oops, they gave him that too. Good thing it just give him loose stool and it doesn't kill him. IF you have an issue here don't bother calling anyone else. They don't care either. Their explanation for poor staff training with dogs is that they get people who are young and don't have experience with dogs. I really think you should re-think where you are putting your funds and invest in better employees. Please remove all of the photos of my animals from this page. My dog just spent the night here. Dropped her off at 3:00pm on Tuesday, picked her up at 4:45pm on Wednesday. Was charged for two nights because I picked her up after noon. When I picked her up I took her to the side area (there was SO much poop there it was ridiculous) and she peed immediately. Doubt she would have if they had provided the 7 potty breaks I had paid for (3 are included for each night plus one extra as part of the elevated package I paid for the first night) Onto the good. The staff was nice to my dog who was reluctant (she stiffened her legs to make walking her back harder - she didn't want to go - no barking, just resistance). They were okay with the fact that her food needs refrigeration. They gave her a bath I am pretty sure (so I am guessing she peed in the crate). She didn't seem miserable when I picked her up. And the process was quick and easy. Provide documentation of vaccines. Pay deposit. Show up. Drop off pet. Pick pet up, pay additional amount. Wound up being $81 or something like that for those 26 hours and she was in the $25 suite (she's a small dog and they price suites/crates by weight). read more

I really love this place! The only reason they lost a star is because their daycare isn't one where the dogs are out playing all day, it's two play times. I also believe they are under staffed most of the time. However, the prices are great, their website has coupons you can use at every visit (including your first daycare day and night of boarding being free), it's very clean, the staff is sweet, did I mention the prices are great!?, and DONNA is the BEST and sweetest groomer I've ever met. My dogs are happy to go inside, something they never showed at other places and you can tell the staff really loves dogs. They offer daily insurance in case something crazy were to happen - for $2.50/day, they will cover up to $250 in vet bills. They even have beds, blankets and TVs in the suites for pups! I recommend every dog owner check this place out - take a tour and allow your pup to enjoy the free daycare day. They will want to return and so will you! I was told that all calls are received at a call center now and all I can say is the guy who answered the phone there is very rude. I have up to now been very impressed with this place. I bring my dog in for the the day care when needed. The day care has the option of one on one playtime rather than playing with the other dogs. I requested the one on one playtime due to a recent injury. To my amazement, I get a report that the dog was too rowdy with the other dogs in playtime. The dog was not supposed to be in the playtime in the first place. I would have recommended this place to anyone just a few days ago. I cannot recommend this place now as they have lost my trust. We have used Pet Suites for our dog a number of times over the last 4 or 5 yrs. Always had a good experience with them. Friendly and capable staff. You can take your pet in on Saturday morning and if you pick him up by noon the next day there is only a one day charge. Our dog is about 25 lbs and cost around $30 a day with an extra outing...for a total of three a day. read more

I have been boarding my dog for while and she is okay with it. She of coarse doesn't love it and when we pick her up she is really happy. I wouldn't recommend getting you dog groomed their because they don't do such a good job. I would also recommend separating the dogs of you have too. If you want your dog to get attention you should put it some notes about how to take care of your dog. Your dog will not like it but they will be safe, I recommend giving bones or treats to them so they can give them to your dog. You can also call daily to see how your dog is doing which we did. I wouldn't board them for over a week either because they will go into a state were they won't eat which isn't good for them. Overall though I would say this is a good place to go just take some precautions. read more
