Called about a bird that we were very interested in. The lady said she would put my name on it and we had 24 hours to claim. We went there way before the 24 hours was up and they had sold the bird to another person thinking that it was me who was buying it. Do not recommend this place at all. If possible I would give zero stars. read more

My name is Emma. I have been in pet paradise a lot in the past couple weeks. Recently a couple months ago I lost all 4 of my parakeets at my grandmas house So I have been looking for a new friend for a while. And that's where I found two of the most lovable birds I've ever met. Lola and Lelo. It's a small little shop but the people and the animals on the inside have big hearts and are so loving and sweet. After a year we had to put our rabbit down we did absolutely everything we could to prolong it's life but it's teeth problems were expensive and getting bad whoever Thier breeder they use is absolutely horrible these were hereditary issues the breeder knew about and still supplied the rabbits it was heartbreaking for our family to endure so a breeder could make money we ended up spending few thousand for a 50 dollar rabbit to keep it alive read more

If you like exotic birds, this is the place, they have many species. Also they have a variety of snakes, including ball python. There was a lizard too. If they don't have what you need then they will guide you to other cool animal stores. Reasonable and helpful. read more

they have quality merchandise lower than the corporate pet store, and excellent selection of birds of every kind. They also allow lay a way as well as the of the Golden buckeye card on merchandise purchase. Price and quality of pets and murchandise are excellent. But the issue is the staff and owner.. Our initial contact was with sarah. She was friendly and extremely helpful. At no time did we feel as If we were an inconvenience to her. But it was the owner and two other staff members we had issues with. We felt as if we were being talked down to. talking down to us . Each visit (approx 10-12) it was the same way. They made it so that we felt stupid. The answers to our questions were also said in a rude and demeaning way. I we also felt that some of the store staff showed favoritisim. I purchased a bird from them and made the mistake of prepaying. She was said my bird was at 109grams and even had that on the take home papers, but when I took her to the Vet for her initial checkup, she weighted in at 79 grams. The Vet told me that she was too young to have been let go and he never even saw a full grown Cockatiel weigh 109 grams, but Sally the owner, pushed her out the door. My bird was fed seed and would not take pellets, no matter what I did. She could not even drink water on her own and had to be fed water with an eye dropper....ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!! When I returned after 7 months when my bird died of seed cropping, Sally the owner, just had a sht eating grin on her face....she knew what she did!! Sally runs a BIRD MILL and it's not uncommon to see birds that don't even have feathers on them in the front display case, as they pump birds out like a Hen on a farm laying eggs. I come every week to buy life feeding mice and the staff has been nothing but kind to me. They always have what i need and every week i see them taking our animals for people to hold, they let my boyfriend hold their snakes when they are able to be handled, and they always have a clean store which means a lot to me. The first few times i came in, i will say, as a first time snake owner i didn't know a lot about what size mouse to feed so i felt a little judged but once i started talking to the ladies everyone became pretty friendly. read more

We have been going to Pet Paradise once a week for several years. We own 10 snakes, several of which were bought here. They stock frozen food that is sold individually, and at a great price. While their main business is catering to birds, they have many small animals such as bunnies, reptiles, and ferrets. The reason that we love it here is that the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, Sally and Erika, especially. I believe in supporting small business, which is especially important when it comes to pet stores, since the same staff bonds and cares for animals all the time vs revolving staff of big chains. The staff is so friendly, my husband and I got our very first little cockatiel there, and the provided all the essential information. We have gone in here on several occasions we tend to limit our interactions with the staff because the store seems to favorite birds here which is not any I wanted to go here. We came in because we wanted to see and interact with the snakes. We believe that smaller places give more time and interaction with the snakes giving them better temperaments but as we come in we wish to see the rosy boa they have but because they decided to feed them during business hours AND put them in paper bags we were not allowed to even see them. Now I understand that picking up and handing a snake after feeding is best kept to a minimum but I am a paying customer who is not driving all the way out here the next day to interact with your snakes to see if one will fit in with our family. I am sorry but feeding animals like snakes should be done closer to closing in my opinion so that paying customers have a chance to interact with them because I will not buy a bet unseen and untouched especially a pet like snakes read more
