What a cute store in north bend!!! Easy to find if you just go right past the outlets! Street parking and super easy to find! Picked up my babies from the show in Enumclaw and realized I had no leashes with me. Went in and was greeted very nicely! She quickly invited my dogs in which I was happy for since it was 90 degrees out! I think they were enjoying everyone walking by petting them as they hung out of the windows of my car lol. None the less I brought them in she got them water and we got leashes and picked out 3 treats for each one! They devoured the chicken feet. They've never had them but I'm sure to get them again! I hope I can find some near me! I love to support small businesses and this is for sure on I will go to everytime we go to Seattle!! read more

Since we moved up to Snoqualmie Ridge last year and added a 4 legged friend to our family we have been customers. This place has been so welcoming and sweet to us and our pup when we first stopped in for some extra puppy supplies. The selection of food to the wash area are top notch and I love paying them a visit. Our most recent trip is probably the most impactful though... I purchased a new bag of food (same food we've always gotten for him) and for some reason this batch wasn't sitting well with his stomach. After a couple days of sickness I called to see if I could swap his food and was told to come on in. I came in and everyone was so helpful, espeically a man who I assume is the primary owner. I explained what was happening and they not only swapped me for a new bag of food but also added some goats milk to help with my pups tummy and asked that I call to keep them updated. You don't get service like that from Petsmart or other major pet stores, you just don't. It was so appreciated and I can tell you they have us locked as a customer forever. These people care about your pets and it shows with everything they do and offer. read more

The closing of my regular pet wash place drove me to Pet Place Market. I really loved my previous wash place so I visited with high expectations. Pet Place Market came through and delivered. Upon arrival i was greeted by super friendly staff. I was escorted to the pet wash room and given a detail run down on the grooming station, tub wash area, wash aprons, shampoos, drying, etc... Very thorough details were given and I was left to start the grooming process of my dog. They have a total of 3 tubs and they are all a nice height to eliminate any back stress. I washed and dried my 2 dogs and it was a good experience. Pros: Great friendly staff, nice wash area, great pet store with everything you could possibly want. Cons: None really. Street parking is the only option which could be a bit of a challenge depending on time of day but this won't stop me from returning. Thanks for a great first experience Pet Place Market! I've had it with this place, I would rather drive to Issaquah than spend another dime there. Today I went in a 3:55 to wash my dog. When I went to brush him out before bathing him I was told that he would have to go straight to the tub (pointless if not brushed first) because the last acceptable time to do both was an hour before they close at 5.....again, this was before 4. I was also told that it would be the same price for the limited services available. This was the third time I had a bad experience with them....or third strike, if you will. The first time they recommended a food that "would be so good for him".....after a week of being sick and 2 carpet cleanings later, this proved to not be the case. The second time I went to buy a collar and the woman behind the counter acted as though I was bothering her by asking a couple questions. I agree with one of the other reviewers, True Value across the intersection is a much better place to go. I would have gone earlier had I known they carried my brand of food (science diet). And they are much more welcoming, helpful and friendly. Take your money any other place than here. read more

It has been a few years since I wrote this and I am way overdue in updating! They are a fully 5-star place nowadays, could not be more welcoming to all types of furry companions. I am so glad they are here in town. My still-wiggly little corgi thinks it is heaven on earth and is always thoroughly spoiled when he comes along. Just a small note - I have mild mobility challenges, but I leave my cane behind when I come here because I need both arms to carry my pet food bags, and I am too stubborn to ask for help. It can be kind of difficult when the parking is full out front and I am a block or two away. But the employees ALWAYS offer and frequently insist on bringing my heavy stuff all the way out to the car. Last time the owner (I believe?) was there and helping me with things before I even made it to the counter. It is so sweet - there are days when it is really wonderful not to have to ask. As to the parking issue, though, apparently the owner bought and then demolished the house behind the store, so there is now a gravel lot there! It is very convenient, but slightly hidden, so spread the word. He said it would make him feel better about the cost if more people used it. ;) read more

Professional. They carry pet food brands that they work hard to bring all the way to North Bend. They don't carry the Purina-owned brands like Science Diet, Iam's and such. That stuff is pet poison. Pet Place to me is the equivalent to a PCC or Whole Foods. Real food for your kids, made by small brands that produce for reputation and quality before profit margin. And I don't find them snootie or unhelpful. They never seem to judge me for walking in wearing runner's tights. read more

My review is based off of the several times I've been in Pet Place Market looking for items. I've been met with nothing but rude employees. Not greeted or asked why I was looking for or made recommendations. They have little to hardly any cat supplies. They are way over priced. I'll make the trip to Issaquah for pet supplies or order from Chewy. Based off of my experience with this business I won't return. read more

Small and cute store with friendly staff. The products they carry are not your mass produced items. They offer a wide-range of high quality products at reasonable prices. The staff was extremely helpful when I had questions and offered alternatives to what I was looking for, even providing me with information I wasn't aware of about the product I was looking for. They have a frequent buyer program which is AWESOME for the zoo at home. Be prepared for possible parking issues, I didn't see a parking lot specifically for them, just street parking on a busy street. read more

The spa was very nasty there was hair everywhere and there was mold. The owner of the place is very disrespectful I've seen him treat his employees very unfairly. I remember trying to get help from him and he ignored me and then just redirected me to one of the employees but the employee didn't know and that's why I was asking him and when I try to tell him that he cut me off and was very rude about it. I would not recommend going to this place the prices are over the top four things that you can buy on Amazon for much cheaper. I've overheard him talking poorly of his employees on the phone with someone. read more

How refreshing to visit an upscale pet store without the upscale attitudes. Unlike the pet store on the Ridge (and every pet store I've visited in Calgary), the people working here are helpful, friendly and humorous. When we moved to North Bend I needed to find a place to buy food for my Pugs. They were on a veterinarian diet that was convenient for me to pick up in Cincinnati since my vet was 5 minutes away. I didn't have the same guarantee when I moved and we needed dog food before I could research/find a vet, so I stopped at Pet Place Market to see the selection. The staff spent a lot of time showing me the varieties of food and asking questions about my Pugs as well as answering some of my own questions. She even looked up my old food and compared the list of ingredients to the varieties available in the store. I ended up buying a smaller bag of food to try and it worked out well so I have been buying larger bags here ever since. There is a frequent buyer program for bags of food which is a nice bonus. I will definitely keep buying my dog food here! read more

Poor customer service. Drove in at 6:15pm for a dog wash, after checking the website for store hours. Said open until 7pm. Gal said the wash hours stop 1hr before closing. Told her she should put that on the website and she rudely said its on the door. That doesnt help me out. read more

I called earlier today to see if they had a giant-sized muzzle and gentle leader. We have a new Dane who has a lot of anxieties and he's NOT a little one! They checked both items and let me know that they had one in stock so I went down. I was incredibly surprised that I was met at the door with my product!! Because our new pup has issues with other dogs, the sales associate came outside to my car to fit each item perfectly - he even got some re-hydrated raw and loved it! I also really appreciate that she suggested some natural remedies to help calm his anxieties. The calm collar is working wonderfully and it smells so yummy! I asked about some other products that we normally use in our home and while they didn't have any they offered to order it for when we needed it in the future. GREAT customer service to both the human and canine guests. This place is fantastic!! read more

Guy working there was very helpful and quite knowledgable. Loved everything about this place. I normally go to Ruff in Redmond, but thought I'd try this one out after a hike up to Snoqualmie got Higi (60lb labradoodle) muddy. If you're looking for a quick convenient wash for your dog, Ruff is not bad, but I definately liked the products at this place way better and we felt like we could take a little more time to get him REALLY clean. I made it in just before the store closed tonight and hurried to grab what I needed and get out as fast as possible so as not to hold the owner and her helper up long. After making my purchase I struggled getting out the door trying to balance a case of loose cans of dog and cat food sitting on top of a 15# bag of kibble while the owner and the new kid behind the counter watched. What really irked me though was that the second I got out the door the kid behind the counter sprang to life and hurried to lock the door. He couldn't have helped me with the door since he was heading to the door anyway? Seriously? I'm not at all impressed with the customer service here. The owner is nice enough but not especially outgoing/friendly or helpful. The feeling I get every time I go in there is that they're impatient to ring you up and get you out of there so I don't spend much time looking around to see what they have. The new kid the owner has working with her now is the "quiet type" who seems awkward around people and like he'd rather be somewhere else. For being a fairly small store this place is pretty well stocked with good stuff (too bad they don't make you feel welcome to browse around) but I'm really put off by the lack of friendly, helpful people here and tonight was the last straw for me. Love to help out small, local businesses and small businesses are typically really good with customer service but I don't get that here. Even in a pinch I won't be going back. read more

Listen. This is not Pet Smart. You're not getting quantity. You're getting high quality pet food. It's gonna be pricier than a box of milk bones. If that's a problem for you, head west on the I-90, get off exit 17. There's a pet smart next to trader joes. However, if you have a dog with food sensitivities, or an older dog who needs joint help, or if you don't wanna feed your pet crap and deal with the health consequences down the road, this is the shop for you! They have an amazing selection of treats and food that are healthy! We get food for our senior dog and our puppy, and for our cat before he was coyote food. This place really is great. My dogs LOVE their treats. The workers are very helpful and keep track of what you buy so you don't have to remember. It's great! Love it! read more

I am a loyal patron of Pet Place Market because of their knowledgeable and friendly staff and the great assortment of products they offer. The entire store is clean and organized, including the dog wash area. The dog wash station is user friendly, reasonably priced and it's a great bonus that the staff cleans up behind me. I have a dog and cat that are in excellent health because of the food they are on thanks to the recommendations provided by the PPM staff. Pet Place Market provides great customer service!
