Love this place. Was recommended here by a friend after getting tired of my baby looking like a homeless rat. The lady who owns the place is very sweet, friendly and Korean. She was very polite and honest with what could be done and not. I had trimmed her face earlier and boss lady wasn't any about telling me that I messed up lol. ("Why did you trim her body if you knew she was coming here!") I personally appreciate her forwardness, feels like home I hadn't had good luck with other groomers in the past. Stay away! This is not a spa. It's a butcher shop! They also use strong chemicals while dogs in there . Look at photos ! Also , they use chlorox to clean the space while there are dogs in those cages breathing the strong chemical ! This is TOXIC for dogs In many levels. I moved here from Los Angeles and was referred to this place by some one who went there couple of times in the past .i took the dog at 12;30pm, as scheduled and at 6:30 she called and said she was busy and just starting to work on my dog ! After 6 hours !!! She was obviously busy and rushed to get me the dog in 30 minutes !! What can get done in 30 minutes ? Shaving the dog !!! and said the dog has some mattes and hair needs to be cut short , I said ok . She shaved my dog instead ! So uneven and almost took his skin off ! Because she was in a rush and there was no way she could give my dog a cut in that short time she had. She charged me a large amount too! She wouldn't bring the dog out till I paid so I had to pay . The owner is friendly (and has an adorable pom!) and they actually require (will actually ask you to send) your pups vaccine records! I am not sure what kind of magic Young does in her shop, but for the two times that we have brought our pup here, he looked and smelled amazing!!! Our standard Goldendoodle is pretty high maintenance as he mats very easily. I was unhappy the first time hearing from Young that he would have to be shaven down. She took the time to explain and told me that she will try her best to make him look "cute cute" though he will be shaven....5 hours later, I had a brand new looking dog! He was SOOOO Soft and smelled sooooo good!!! Young showed me how his hair was in a sheet due to all the mats. Went the 2nd time about 2.5-3 months later for another full groom, and I can't believe it, but he looked even better than the first time!!! Whenever I bring him to Young, I just don't want to take him out, to make sure he stays smelling good and looking fresh! The only thing about Young is, it gets pricey! But with how long she takes and in making sure that your dog is not under stress, etc. is something I treasure deeply in a groomer. My wife and I are so happy to have a top-notch pet groomer so close to home. We have typically used the groomers in the big box pet stores in the past and generally felt the pups were being run through a production line staffed with generally low skilled labor with high turnover. Young's shop is in our neighborhood and when we first noticed it driving by, we immediately stopped in to check it out. We were pleased to find out Young has been a groomer for ~15 years. She has won numerous awards as well for her work with show dogs. Most important to us though, as a small independent business owner, Young takes the time to work with each pup individually and ensure they are as comfortable as possible in the shop. We have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and we took our youngest in, Queen Cleopatra, for a bath, nail trim and ear cleaning. Cleopatra was there for about 90 minutes and when she was ready to go I received a text from Young's booking system. We had also received text messages reminding us of the appointment. This is a super feature and reflects upon the top-notch business she has. When we picked up Cleopatra, her nails looked great, her ears were spotless, and she smelled great! I don't know what Young had used for shampoo, but to me she smelled as if she was wearing perfume! Needless to say, we were super pleased, and we will be back. We'll probably Cleopatra's sister, Queen Nefertiti up there next week. Additionally, Young is currently running a special, which I believe is a complimentary nail trim on the next visit. Yes, it's expensive, but worth the money. And I don't say that very often, cuz I pride myself in getting the best deal possible. This is the third groomer in 4 attempts and I have to say it's the best so far for about the same price. My 10 mos-old labradoodle is very active and strong. She had completely matted ears from being in a padded cone for a week. They had to shave it down and I'm sure it took a long time. Nicole was very patient and asked how I wanted her cut. Her snout could've been better, but because they spent so much time with her ears, I was ok taking her after 4.5 hours of being there. $100 + $20 tip is steep, but the place is clean and well-run. I had a good experience at Young Style Pet Beauty and Spa in Lakemont (by the gas station). I needed my 4 month (36 lb) puppy's nails ground down. I called and they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment and gave me pricing on the phone for both grinding ($20) and clipping ($15). When I arrived with a somewhat anxious pup (he doesn't care for the car), they calmly took him and asked me to wait outside in the car for ten minutes. Then they brought him out when they were done and showed me his nails. He was much calmer and happy and my clothes are no longer being shredded. We usually bathe and grind his nails ourselves but I will definitely consider them if he needs a "professional" grooming down the road. read more

This is my first time coming here and they did not disappoint me at all. They are so nice and really care about your pet. I paid $150 and i think it was a good price for the amount of work they put into my baby. My Pomeranian is pretty matted coming in. Even though my dog is matted, they still took her and gave her the cutest haircut. She looks so happy when I picked her up. So I was able to email and get an appointment in a reasonable time, with Covid restrictions so many places have had rather long waits or not taking new customers, I was very fortunate. Young has been grooming our Pomeranian for many months now after our prior pet grooming salon closed its Lower Queen Anne location and lost a very talented groomer. We have tried other grooming salons in Seattle and Bellevue area only to find the services to be satisfactory. But Young has been the best!
