Since The decoy seminar, I have worked very closely with Tai and Lexi when it comes to obedience and bite work with dogs. Throughout the months, I got to see in person and through their social media pages that they are meant for this profession. They are able to work with all breeds and size of the dog does not matter. I have seen clients walk out the front door with smiles on their faces with their dogs are also really well behaved because of the work that Lexi, Tai, and also their trainer Max does daily. They had previously been boarded at another…read morefacility but they were fully booked and Woof Tang, while quite a drive, was highly rated and had the cameras for their rooms that we love to have. First of all the price is great in my opinion. Their facility has plenty of play space and the livery room we got was large. We always want, maybe even need, to be able to check in on them. While on past stays we would look and find them pacing and awooing all night. Something about this place made them zen. They looked out the windows, climbed and snuggled in their bed. We signed up for both of them to get a bath before pick up but due to some error with their system only our little guy got his, which was sad because if we had to pick we would have picked her. For our two dogs it was $115 a day for the luxury suite. When we arrived to pick them up we expected our Dachshund to scream like he does when we come home and our Auggie to go crazy and we were so disappointed when they came up to us like okay cool, summer camp is over? Not one cry or bark, no jumping or crazy tail wags. Next time we hope to board them for training. Our dogs would have required 3 weeks and that just didn't work for us right now.

She is accommodating in every way. No matter if I'm planning a vacation out of state or have a last minute emergency, I can count on her to check I on my Fur Babies! She is very loving towards my cats and treats them like her own...as expected...and I always get updates with pictures, which is an added bonus!! Who wouldn't want a picture of your pet while you are away! On extended visits away, she is nice enough to get the mail, water the plants and check the house for any break ins or if something is out of place. The staff -- especially Mimi and Beth -- went above and beyond to make Caspian feel at home, even accommodating his somewhat particular eating schedule without any fuss. We also took advantage of their grooming services: Caspian got a full groom and dematting, and he's been moving so much more comfortably since. We used another service during our Thanksgiving vacation and two days in a row the sitter was a no-show, while we were hundreds of miles away creating a stressed-out vacation experience. Thankful to say, our sitter Mikayla not only showed up every day as scheduled, but she also sent updates via email for each visit per our request. Three times each day we got an update on Molly along with a couple of photos. Laura and the team made it super easy to get set up, to schedule the visits, and the overall experience was wonderful. Is Laura more expensive than the other service we used previously? Yes. Was she worth the extra costs? Absolutely. The peace of mind knowing that Mikayla was there each day and providing the updates created a stress-free vacation. We will be using their services again in the future.

Imagine leaving your babies for a few days.. imagine not knowing who to leave them with. Ok, now…read moreyou know the frustration I had trying to find someone in my new town. In Miami I had a trusted caretaker, but here I knew no one. I asked at Woof on Edgewater and one of the numbers they gave me was for Cuddles. There were a couple more, but after making the first call to them and having a long conversation with Phil, I knew they were my kind of people! I didn't have to look any further. They have been running this business for years and their love for animals is palpable. Not only are they amazing with my pets (my somewhat skittish cat had NO problem hanging out while we talked), but they are incredibly professional in how they run their business. I can't even begin to sing their praises, Marejane and Phil are the BEST! Warm, loving to our pets, professional and sweet, you can't ask for more. We left Coco and Uriko under their care for a week and my pets love for them was quite apparent when my cat Uriko ignored me completely to love up on Marejane. The meet and greet was wonderful and everyone loved on my dog. After that it was downhill from…read morethere. My dog wasn't understanding cues from other dogs that they were tired and not interested in playing. So rather than help her understand the cues and work with her they just stuck her in a crate. This created more anxiety because she didn't understand that this was not punishment. I would continually get calls saying she got in a scuffle and was the dog always blamed. Yet when watching the webcam I saw instances of favoritism, not enough training for the staff and too large of a dog to people ratio. Every time I went to pick my dog up she was anxious and the front desk staff had nothing nice to say about her. I was finally told after her last visit that she is dismissed from the center because she is poorly behaved. The manager never met with me face to face but only called me. My dog has earned her AKC canine good citizen award and is working on her community level award. If she is experiencing anxiety due to the sounds and smells that is not her fault.

I checked in my two cats to be boarded in Miss Emily's Kitty Condos. The drop-off process was…read moreincredibly easy and the staff was tremendously kind. My cats had no problems getting settled on their first day, but one of my cats decided that she wasn't too fond of playtime and became stressed, sitting atop their condos and not allowing the staff to get her down. While this was happening, I was on a plane and had no access to my phone. The staff tried to calm my cat down and try to get her back in her condo. Unfortunately, she was stressed and didn't take kindly to being boarded even after being boarded before. The staff kept in constant contact with me, letting me know how my precious cat was doing and if she had come down. In the end, we had to have the cats picked up by their emergency contact and had to cut their stay short. With that being said, the care Miss Emily's staff had toward my cats (even while one was hissing up a storm) made me want to write this review, knowing that your pets are in good hands, even when things don't go according to plan. I would recommend Miss Emily's to anyone who needs to board their pet in Orlando, dog or cat, as they truly have your pet's needs in mind.
