Every visit I specifically state I don't want to pre pay for this and every time it was on my final bill (which the front desk lady had to get "authorized" to remove) I overheard the male doctor (I think he's a doctor, he's a very awkward guy that supervises or is a doctor) saying they are running this on every customer and are completely backed up on processing the samples. In my opinion this is an obvious scam. They also over vaccinated my puppy despite a conversation specifically telling them to ONLY give him the few required for the puppy series... they slipped 3 or 4 extras that I didn't see on their sheet (I was too focused on getting the pre paid charge remove I overlooked them). In my opinion these people are not professional and focused more on taking their customers money than caring for their animals. Consumer beware!

One weekend I decided to board my pups and was told I would not be charged twice for puppy preschool enrollment which is required when boarding puppies. Yet, the staff at check out advised that the package purchased did not apply to boarding. The logic is still lost here. I prepaid for a package, that during boarding, could not be honored? There was nothing in writing to support this policy, in fact I located information on their website to the contrary. I submitted my concerns to the manager via email, but my email was ignored, in that I never received a response. As a dissatisfied consumer I decided to withdraw my pups from the preschool, despite having 10 days remaining on their package. But, one evening the very pleasant student groomer reached out asking if I would be interested in getting my pups their first cut with her. She was amazing with my pups and did a great job with their initial bath and blow out, so why not. And, just for the day, I decided to give the puppy preschool another shot. However, prior to booking I double confirmed the cost. Sadly, I again experienced the same issue at check out, in that I was told the initial price quoted was incorrect. The staff member that completed my check out completely ignored my concerns and did not offer to honor the rate quoted, nor did she direct me to the manager. She was very dismissive and unpleasant to engage with, no eye contact, no apologies. To make matters worse, my pups haircut was unlike anything I could have imagined. There were multiple patches, uneven hair spaces, the pink of her skin was visible in multiple locations. My requests for her cut were not adhered to, and there was no explanation provided. In fact, when I submitted my concerns regarding the cut, I was told the very pleasant student groomer was unavailable. Ergo the risks of agreeing to a student groom. But, regardless of the groomers student status, at a minimum, an explanation as to what happened, would have been professional. The convenience of this location to my home, the seemingly pleasant pet environment, and the professional and courteous attitudes of most of the staff here, sadly doesn't make up for such egregious management oversights. I pray in the future, the management team here places more focused attention on the handling of consumer concerns.

Since The decoy seminar, I have worked very closely with Tai and Lexi when it comes to obedience and bite work with dogs. Throughout the months, I got to see in person and through their social media pages that they are meant for this profession. They are able to work with all breeds and size of the dog does not matter. I have seen clients walk out the front door with smiles on their faces with their dogs are also really well behaved because of the work that Lexi, Tai, and also their trainer Max does daily. First of all the price is great in my opinion. Their facility has plenty of play space and the livery room we got was large. We always want, maybe even need, to be able to check in on them. While on past stays we would look and find them pacing and awooing all night. Something about this place made them zen. They looked out the windows, climbed and snuggled in their bed. We signed up for both of them to get a bath before pick up but due to some error with their system only our little guy got his, which was sad because if we had to pick we would have picked her. For our two dogs it was $115 a day for the luxury suite. When we arrived to pick them up we expected our Dachshund to scream like he does when we come home and our Auggie to go crazy and we were so disappointed when they came up to us like okay cool, summer camp is over? Not one cry or bark, no jumping or crazy tail wags. Next time we hope to board them for training. Our dogs would have required 3 weeks and that just didn't work for us right now.

We used another service during our Thanksgiving vacation and two days in a row the sitter was a no-show, while we were hundreds of miles away creating a stressed-out vacation experience. Thankful to say, our sitter Mikayla not only showed up every day as scheduled, but she also sent updates via email for each visit per our request. Three times each day we got an update on Molly along with a couple of photos. Laura and the team made it super easy to get set up, to schedule the visits, and the overall experience was wonderful. Is Laura more expensive than the other service we used previously? Yes. Was she worth the extra costs? Absolutely. The peace of mind knowing that Mikayla was there each day and providing the updates created a stress-free vacation. We will be using their services again in the future.

We have been going to BGE for just…read moreover a year now and here's why I love them: For starters, they are a cage/stress free groomer which means your pup isn't crated in a drying cage like they do at many other groomers. This means your pup is in great hands from beginning to end which gives them a spa like experience. When I drop him off and they take him to the back, I always hear them say "Everyone, Remy is here!" and the groomers all say "Hi Remy!" which I think is such a cute touch that allows me to leave peacefully knowing he's cared for. The best part is after they're groomed, they get a complimentary photo shoot! I will say this is what I look forward to most after picking my pup up. They upload their photos on their Facebook page and there's always such a cute theme to celebrate whatever is going on that month/season. We even sometimes get paw print art to take home! All in all, there is no better groomer than BGE!
