His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

I traveled internationally for two weeks and needed a pet sitter to care for my cat. I decided on Hailee because the cost was reasonable. Throughout the duration of my vacation I was routinely told that my cat could not be found. It seemed like little to no effort was made to find or play with my cat, luckily my family was able to visit and play with my cat using minimal effort. She filled up food but did not fill up the water in the two weeks leading me to believe that she was unreliable, however she did show up everyday and was able to bring in packages. I will not be using her services again in the future, I do not feel that I can trust her with my pet.

The cut is uneven, particularly around her face, which appears choppy and not well blended. Her paws were also not cleaned up to the standard I expected. The areas of greatest concern are her armpit and belly, which were shaved extremely close. Her skin appeared irritated afterward, and there is a small area on her belly that looks consistent with a minor nick from the blade. I spoke with management to address these concerns and am currently requesting a refund based on the result and condition of the grooming. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service provided. If you have a long-haired or double-coated breed, I recommend clearly confirming grooming expectations in advance.

Waffles has a fracture in his lower spine - originally when we took him in, back hine legs were immobile. Today we came to see him. WOW! The treatments and work they did just in 1 over night stay, he was already in such better shape! The staff was SO KIND even at 10:30 at night, after dealing with patients all day and they still had compassion after such a long day. So so kind and we are so grateful for Dr. Nelson! Me and my partner brought our cat in on 08/26 because we believed he was sick. They took ONE X-Ray…read more(no ultrasound at all...) and told us that they found a blockage and that he needed surgery ASAP. They were extremely insistent that we could not wait and that it was to be done immediately, they gave us a quote that was extremely outrageous originally about 5000 it did come down in price but that was just for the surgery and possibly an overnight, i have never been somewhere so unreasonably expensive. The price mainly came down imo because they could not increase my CareCredit limit. We looked at the scan ourselves and saw nothing. The part that they said was his "blockage" was his liver. We were pretty upset because we weren't even given anytime to TRY and find another clinic. We felt so pressured and overwhelmed by the doctor. We let them know we wanted to talk more in depth about everything when we would come to pick him up. They put us in a room and left us for an hour before we saw anyone. The vet tech that came in tried to collect payment but i was adamant from when i came in that i would not be paying until i saw my cat and spoke to the doctor. The vet tech was extremely rude and unprofessional. She also did not seem to know what she was talking about either, which really alarmed me because she told me that he was fine and the doctor had put in staples. We finally got to speak to the doctor. They said the incision was minor, that the tech was wrong, that he was stitched, and that they found nothing. The incision was 6 inches long and covered about 75% of his tummy. We said we would not be paying today and that they can just bill us because it was completely ridiculous that we were told he needed this surgery that there was something in there and then to be told he was cut open for no reason? They said due to policy they cannot bill us and when we asked what the alternative was, they said they would take us to court. Which utterly ridiculous they take a deposit of 50%, but they said it from being burned many times but that's likely due to how they conduct business. If you're taking a deposit, why can't you bill us? When they discharged him, they only gave anti-nausea medication and no anti-biotics, which was unusual. Due to the stress from this whole surgery our cat went into cardiac arrest 4 days later. His lungs filled with fluid. He died. We took him elsewhere obviously, and they did everything they could to save him and gave him such great care in his final moments, care he should have received when we brought him here to this place. Their unnecessary surgery killed my cat. And the cherry on top? They never gave us his collar back. This place is greedy. They price gouge their clients and use your distress against you. It is extremely obvious that they do not actually care about the animals.

We tried one other that seemed ok but you know when sometimes something just feels off? So I asked & our vet recommended Silver Maple instead...best thing ever. My first glimpse of how genuinely they care for our dogs was how nicely he goes in (tail is still down but he readily goes in after being greeted like Norm from Cheers). One time he got sick just before our Xmas vacation. He had only been on his meds for 2days before I had to drop him off but they have their system down to a science. It's simple but it's one they are clear on so there are no mistakes. Pam even called me to tell me she found throw up in his crate but wondered if giving him his meds with food would be less caustic & help him feel better...thoughtful & considerate problem solver & diplomatically explained! During that same boarding we were snowed in on the mountains in CO & couldn't get back on time. Not only did Pam accommodate but she also made sure he had enough of his meds. She genuinely loves animals & will go to bat for them. Communication & planning is key. If you'll be traveling over the holidays, book early. Always pack extra food & Rx in case it gets dropped or don't pack enough food. They took a Chewy delivery of food bc I stupidly didn't count out the correct numbers of cans. Cost-wise, we have found it to be very much worthwhile bc we absolutely know he's in good hands. To Pam, Mallory, Amanda, Lindsey & all the others I've not had the pleasure of meeting, you make Silver Maple a success & I thank you for taking such loving care of our Dexter.
