My dog Minka has stayed twice with Marisel. My only complaint is that I think Minka likes Marisel more than she likes me! The last time I picked her up, she didn't want to leave! My dog is very shy and scared and she takes a long time to trust. It was amazing the instant connection she made with Marisel. Marisel truly must be a dog whisperer because Minka was instantly letting herself be pet and loved and giving kisses. Amazing. We did a meet and greet and Minka had lots of room to play and run with other dogs at Marisel's house. She had such a great time that she was tired for almost three days after her last stay and everyone knows a tired dog is a good dog. Marisel and her team took care of our Migzy really well! I have to say we felt that our baby was in great hands the entire time we went away on a trip for almost an entire week. We were going to leave our dog for a night, but were surprised when nobody answered the front door for ten minutes after we arrived at the scheduled drop-off time. Then I noticed two keys in the front glass door keyholes with an unsupervised dog waiting on the other side of one. Anyone could've easily opened the door and snatched the dog up. I was naturally concerned about the security and brought this up to the owner. Instead of explaining why this was so, she got VERY defensive and said the dog was a regular and that her owners were okay with the doors being that way. It was her defensiveness that deeply unsettled me. Instead of giving me a reason for the presence of keys/the absence of a staff member, she instead said that the Pet Squire had five stars on Yelp and that I was essentially wrong to have suspicions or ask questions. I hope that no one will have to go through what we went through. I understand that people make mistakes all the time, but I don't like being treated as if I was in the wrong for asking questions about the security of the surroundings. read more

Sophie loved her time here!! We left for a weekend and left her and the owners treated her as if she were one of their own. Sophie had a back yard and stayed in their house. I prepared her food but they offer food as well. You can tell they love animals and Sophie was able to roam free and never was in a cage. read more

After my travel plans to take my puppy fell through I spent all morning the day of my flight frantically searching for someone that could be trusted to stay in my home and puppy sit. She not only was super sweet and down to earth, you can tell she really cares and really wanted to help considering what a bind I was in. She went above an beyond to coordinate with her team to find Laura was available to make my apartment her home from Thursday evening to Sunday mid day. She sent me the cutest pictures and videos in the AM and PM and could tell she truly enjoyed playing with my puppy Max. I felt so at ease because he looked so happy and I came home to find my place exactly as I left it. I was a little nervous overall about leaving my baby since I never had before, and Laura and Marisel were both highly communicative and professional, and made sure that I was happy and comfortable every step of the way! That level of customer service is hard to find. Also, the rate she charged for this I thought was very fair and would highly recommend using this service!!! Marisel is amazing with my Bentley. She has been periodically walking and taking care of my dog for over 5 years. If I am away, she has always been sure to send me pictures and texts letting me know that everything is more than ok. She takes the time to feed your pet, walk him/her and spend plenty of time playing and cuddling. Do not recommend. First, The facility is in a commerce park/warehouse area, which I was not expecting based upon pictures on their website. You can't see inside beyond the front check in area, so you can't see where the dogs eat, sleep, play, or where they are kept during the day. It was hot inside and I'm not confident it is well cleaned/maintained, although I couldn't see behind the check in area. When I picked up my puppy, I immediately noticed a skin infection on his neck under his collar. It looks like he had been wearing a wet collar that caused the irritation and infection. I told the worker, and the owner of the business called after I left. She was nice and professional and offered advice for treatment, but was also defensive when I suggested that staff should check under collars or take them off at night. I really wish I had a better experience and that my puppy didn't have a raw, irritated infection on his neck. I don't know how this business has so many 5 star reviews. read more

Best pet boarding I've ever used, and I've lived in four states and two countries. We have a two year old socially anxious shih tzu mix we needed to board over the holidays. Marisel took note of everything and assured us it wouldn't be an issue. We received pictures every day of Coco having a great time. I've boarded my dog before but never loved it like this one. I did a individual one on one pet sitting at someone's home and felt extremely comfortable leaving my dog with them. They immediately schedule a meet and greet in order for you to see their home and see how your pet will react with the pet sitter. I got so many updates (pictures and videos) on what my dog was doing every couple of hours in which I loved. I love Pet Squire!! I have to travel often for work and have three cats that are honestly my children. We are extremely bonded together. Being away from them absolutely crushes me emotionally. However, the times I am away from them are made a little easier knowing that Manali from Pet Squire is visiting them day and night and taking care of them while I am away. My feline children are usually pretty shy around strangers, but she has won their trust and is really wonderful with them. I would never put them in a boarding facility, so it was really important for me to be able to keep them at home and have someone stop by to take care of them in their home habitat.
