Bambina and I love coming here, the owner and the staff are super friendly. I believe they have everything, almost like a one stop shop for all your pets need! In case you don't see something, all you have to do is ask and they are very happy to help you with everything. Bambina loves their own homemade dehydrated treats from chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and so much more, and have no preservatives in the treats. They have sample treats for your pets at the counter and that's an extra bonus. They have various brands of food offering kibbles to rawmix. Very nice doodle cut and they took us on relatively short notice. The place is clean and they have a nice store. However this business charges significantly more money than other places in the area for the same doodle cut. Our dog gets professionally groomed monthly, washed by us 2x per month, and brushed by us multiple times a week. We were very surprised by the high cost. read more

Truly one of the BEST groomers in Long Island. My dog is extremely anxious & gets very feisty when it comes to a new groomer. But from the moment he walked into that building, to meeting the groomer, to getting his cut, Toodles couldn't have been more excited and happier! We took our pup here for her first full grooming service.she's only ever been bathed at home or had her nails trimmed by her vet so we had no idea how things would go.my boyfriend forgot to bring in her vaccination records but this issue was easily resolved at the front desk when we were told we could just email it.I really appreciated the report card we got afterwards about what was done,and a note how she did a good job but it was also noted that she is afraid of the blow dryer.that gave comfort to be aware of what happened without being there.our puppy is still potty training and urinated inside the store so i let a staff member know.she said she'd clean it up and gave a very understanding and caring smile.our puppy is also a very picky eater but she has never turned down their huge variety of treats to pick from.I highly appreciate the entire pet story staff for making our experience a welcoming,caring and safe one.we will always come back when we can. read more

I have being taking my dog at pet story for just about 2 yrs or a bit longer , I schedule my appointment on the web site and took my dog . I call about an hr after dropping my dog of to confirm time and what my dog needed . Show up 3 hrs after to pick up my dog I ask the owner and cashier why is she not groom and just had s bath ? The woman at the cashier said I am sorry and proceeded to pretended I did not call and confirm . The owner came out of no where and started speaking to me in a very disrespectful and Harsh manner . I will not be going back there and would not recommend this place. read more

I was very impressed walking into the store, I actually had called earlier that morning to see if they would be able to clip my two Pomeranians nails, they said it would be no problem. When I got their they saw my girls right away. Their nails came out great and they were in and out . They are highly skilled and knowledgeable adding immeasurable value to an already competitively priced experience. Recently, our groomer, Lydia noticed a growth on one of our pups which was so small we never even noticed it. Lydia and the manager met with us and encouraged us to get our vet to examine her, which we did. Turned out to be an enlarged salivary gland thankfully, but even our vet was surprised that it was our groomer who noticed. My wife and I recommend Pet Story unreservedly. I just don't understand how their appointment system work. I made an appointment online and received all the confirmation material. Then the next morning, they called me and told me someone already took the spot so they have to reschedule it. They didn't even apologize for it and just told me it had to be rescheduled because someone else booked the spot earlier and blame it on the fact that I made the booking late at night when the store was closed and the owner had no access to it. I don't what booking system/website service they have but it definitely can be improved. read more
