I stop in this pet store location from time to time to pick up either a few items for my aquarium or my feline. The workers are always friendly and ready to assist. A couple of times I've had to process some returns and each time it went very smoothly. Have the receipt and/or being registered for their point system helps things move along quickly when getting a refund or exchange. There are 3 Petsupermarkets near me and I still make the 45 minute drive out to visit this location. The employees here really care about pets. This is one of my favorite locations. They always have the food that I am looking for as well as the occasional sale and special on other similar items. They will allow you to combine manufacturer coupons with the store coupons! The sales associates are always very friendly and helpful. I usually get help carrying the bags of food from the shelf and to my car. Awesome! read more

Sara the manager is the reason for my 1 star review. I wish I could give her customer service skills a 0 and her attitude a 10. Here's the reason. I bought a bag of Blue Wilderness large breed salmon 28lb bag and they're not cheap, but the food is definitely worth it. I called Pet supermarket in Casselberry about finding worms in the food I had purchased a few days ago. She 21 questioned me on the phone and then proceeded to say she needed the bag it came in. Well, that has been thrown away as we put our dog food into containers that are well cleaned and sanitized before adding a new bag. She said she needed the barcode and I mentioned all the barcodes for the same exact food and weight are the same. I didn't want a refund I just wanted to exchange for the exact same item hoping for no worms and go from there. Been buying the same food for about a year now and have never had a problem. It was an online order picked up in store so I have all the details for the return. Only a few cups have been taken out of it so its still close to the 28lbs and I'm concerned about my 3 dogs health at this point too from possibly eating the worms. She gasps and said "I guess I can try to exchange it for you". I could tell I have irritated her at this point. I said thank you. When I got there there, Sarah says to me "find whatever bag you called for" and walks away. After being helped by someone else, I go back to the counter where Sarah is but she has no interest in hearing about the worms in my dog food. I had them in a zip lock (separate from the rest of the food I brought back) to show her how bad it is and she just takes it and throws it away in front of me and says nothing and stares at me. I asked her if she wanted to keep it to show someone or to reach out to the manufacturer and she she said it doesn't matter and told me "you can go now". After she said that, I said "there is no reason to be rude as I have been very nice about the whole thing" given my dogs could potentially get parasites from this situation. She then proceeded to tell me that if "If you we're rude, I wouldn't have done the exchange for you, you came in here asking for an exchange and you got it now you can go". SHE IS THE NEW STORE MANAGER, NEWLY PROMOTED, AND ACTS LIKE THIS OVER A SIMPLE EXCHANGE. Showed no concern once so ever and had the most attitude I think I have ever dealt with working in the customer service industry. I would love to be contacted about this situation as I love pet supermarket and have been luckily enough to never meet Sarah before. read more

We purchased our doggy food here ( we have 4 furbabies) and 1 Betta. When we venture here to refill our doggy food supply and Betta needs we always take A peak at their Betta fish *( as our daughter has one & adores hers). SADLY they are "always" dirty.:((( I do not understand how they neglect to keep the Betta fish containers in unwashed, uncared for circumstances?? This is a huge disappointment. We do bring it to the staffs attention and unfortunately we continue to hear the same response ...........however nothing gets done:((. It's a shame. read more

The staff at this location is very helpful and friendly. I've been here a bit more than normal, as the other places I frequent for puppy food have been out of the Puppy Pro Plan (Lamb) I mix in with the ultra premium (Orijens) which is too rich for his system on it's own. I was told elsewhere (PetSmart) that there was a national shortage on the PPP Lamb, due to a problem with Lambs in New Zealand. Whatever, PetSmart seems to be the only place out of it, so, I'm adjusting my buying patterns and Pet Superstore is getting more of my pet purchases. Puppy's got to eat!! Pet Superstore's prices are even with the other big chains, but the size of the store is much more manageable. They have great sales on cat litter and carry some harder to find lines of treats, Zukes is stocked there in a variety of types and my pup **loves** the Zukes treats. He loves all treats, but he REALLY loves the Zukes treats. When I went to check out, they offered me a free (pick a breed) calendar that they were giving away instead of clearancing out. I've never had that offer from anywhere else, I thought it was very nice! read more

I have been to the store numerous times. They have been helpful. However when it comes to getting the Seresto dog collars for my pets they are not in supply. I have four dogs. I have tried several times to purchase four different collars. They only carry two. I'm told when the shipment comes in we will have more. The shipment comes and there are no collars. I'm forced to go elsewhere. Very frustrating. read more

The manager at their new location in Deland needs Customer Service training even though she was doing her job. My wife and I stopped by on our first visit to purchase some Dog food & shampoo. just after paying for the products the girl at the register talked me in to buying a better grade of shampoo. Their policy for a simple exchange or refund requires you to provide them with your drivers licence so they can enter your information from your DL into their system. I personally have a problem with it due to all the ID theft going on in today's world. I don't understand why they need to know where i live to provide an exchange. Went to Pet Supermarket yesterday to use an emailed coupon the corporation had sent me. (They send out a phenomenal newsletter usually monthly and often have great coupons in them for either $2 off of a $10 purchase or sometimes $5 off of a $25 purchase.) I knew this store had recently been renovated and was wanting to see what was new. I have to say they did a great job. The store is beautiful and well organized, brightly lit and very clean. And the best thing.... the two young female employees were very helpful. The other best change to me was there was actually prices on just about all of the merchandise! This was always a problem with this store in the past as it seemed employees just mostly stood around even though a great many items had no prices. Bringing it to the attention of the employees made no difference. I am always annoyed when a store makes it a habit of not pricing their merchandise and cause customers to have to ask what the prices are on many items. AND I don't think it is helpful when an employee says that I should feel free to ask like as if they are afraid I consider it an inconvenience for them! I don't want to shop that way and they never seemed to get what an inconvenience it is to the customer to constantly have to bring items up to the register to find out the prices. I hope this store continues to be well run. It is greatly improved! read more

YMMV. Went in last week, person in fish department was polite and quick to offer assistance. Today was a much different experience. After standing next to the fish tanks for 15 min without even being acknowledged I left the store. read more
