Workers are not very nice. Only one worker is nice female with long brown hair thinks she's Mexican. She's very sweet. Other workers are not so present. I asked for some crickets from an unpleasant worker the worker said OK I'll be there in a minute and never came they see you waiting on stuff when you come in and they never check to see if you need help animals are not well taken care of they are put in little cages they deserve a bigger space sadly that is the only pet store by me read more

I am extremely disappointed in this store, and even more frustrated by the response I got from corporate. My last two visits have resulted in the specific variety that my senior dog eats being out of stock. Then it turns out I can order it on Amazon with free delivery for $11 LESS than what they charge. I needed to go get some pet supplies and asked around about the best place to go. many folks said that Pet Supermarket was the only place in town for specialty food. I got the feeling that the reviews on this place were mixed and then I heard that it had changed management a lot of times and now they had a new manager who seem to be in over her head. Well, I can tell you that's not the case. When I went in there, the employees were friendly, the store was clean and relatively well stocked, although it looked like they were in the process of trying to do some work on getting more product in, and it looked like their aquariums and reptile area were super clean. I've never even seen Pet Supermarket and the other stores in Orlando looking this clean. I did happen to check out with the new manager. She was not only polite and friendly to me. She went out of her way to help me find some deals, and even told me about some rewards I had available on my pet rewards card, saving me some money. They may be the only game in town, but the customer service has really impressed me. In a city where customer service is often lacking, this place seems to be trying to go above and beyond. read more

When our 8 year old cat was diagnosed with severe asthma and was given specific dietary requirements we were having a hard time finding the right food for him that he would actually eat. The staff in this store has consistently gone above and beyond to help us in any and every way possible. From providing helpful tips, to walking the store for over an hour with us reading ingredient labels until we found the right food. They put so much care and compassion into all the work they do and it clearly shows. They have been instrumental in our cats now improving health, and still ask about him whenever we get the pleasure to stop by. When we walk into the store, we don't feel like customers, we feel like family! There are no words to express how grateful we are for these sweet folks!! Went in yesterday just to check it out. They have three kittens one was so sick. She couldnt stop throwing up. Idk how often they feed them but the other cats were eating its vomit. This is not a normal behavior for cats! My guess would be they were just that hungry. I made a comment as i left "your kitties are sick! Just letting u know." They seemed quick to blame a recent vet visit and how they just had their shots. Im not buying it. They were deff defensive. Somethings fishy. read more

I Love this store! The staff is always friendly and they make a big deal over my two crazy dogs whenever I take them in which makes me happy, of course. The store is always well stocked and clean and I can get in and out within minutes. They even stock big bags of bird food so that I can feed our Key West chickens. read more

very rude staff. they dont ask if you need help and they didnt have any baskets to put your items in so I used one of the yellow bags that they sell to put my purchases in and when I got to the counter the girl shelby gave me a look that I should take the items out of the bag for her to ring them up. I didnt and then she reluctantly took them out of the bag and rang them up and put them back into the yellow bag and I realized she was charging me for the bag so I told her that I didn't want to buy the bag I was Just using it because there were no baskets. she was angry at that and threw the cans out of the bag and onto the counter the other girl at the other counter was giving me a dirty look also. shelby didnt thank me or smile made me feel like crap. what wonderful customer service!! This is the kind of service I have been getting at this pet supermarket for several months now. the staff must be very unhappy. read more

Been going there for quite some time only because I am unable to get my special dog food anywhere else. 99% of the staff is either rude or not friendly or at all helpful. Either on their cell phones or just plain lazy. I actually asked one of them to see if the company carried a larger type of the dog chew toys and she told me that "no we don't carry any of those chews"! I informed her that if she would just had bothered looking on the shelf she would had seen them! She did not smile or even apologize! Very rude customer service! I have to say though, that Robert Krause did a very wonderful job in helping me and actually showed me to the right location. Most of the employees look very unhappy all the time. read more

I wish I could give zero stars and that I would have taken pictures. They had bearded dragons ON DISPLAY that were completely malnourished and skin and bone, when I called the manager over because this dragon appeared to be deceased he made a point to tell me that the bearded dragon was in fact not dead, just not doing well and he would "hydrate" it today. They also had two whites tree frogs in a tank with bark substrate, a bowl of filthy water, a wooden hide and a small plant in the corner, not to mention the humidity gauge in their tank was on DESERT. These animals need high humidity. All the live bugs in cups they offered were dead (still in the fridge ready to be sold to customers). I DO NOT RECOMMEND and will never return to this store. A poor excuse for a pet store. Manager should be fired for letting that abuse occur. This store SHOULD NOT be allowed to sell live animals until they figure out how to care for the animals they offer. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. read more
