Although I was not greeted or acknowledged when I entered, I still decided to purchase a dog tag. The cashier Ryan, noticed that I was struggling with the tag machine a few feet from the register--it was my first time using it, yet no assistance was offered. After eventually figuring out the process, I went to the register to pay, where there was still no eye contact or conversation. I then returned to the machine to engrave the tag and nearly broke it several times trying to fit the tag correctly on my own. A second employee later came in, and when I asked for help, he was noticeably more friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the experience made it clear that consistent customer service training is lacking among the staff. I will be choosing PetSmart moving forward. I didn't feel like a valued customer at all. read more

The first thing you notice is how nice and helpful the staff are. They acknowledge you the moment they enter, and while you're shopping there is usually someone on the floor asking if you need help. The store is always bright, clean and well stocked. They are limited on pets here, but have a few, and mainly focus on pet needs. They have food, toys, treats, treatments, adorable clothes and more. They also have a rewards program; buy 10 of one item and get your next one free. read more

Saw mold on the bird cages on tuesday (08/27/24). When I pointed it out to an older women (who claims it's her store) she didn't seem to care at all...another employee told me they'd take care of it. Hopefully those poor birds got cleaned out. read more

106/100 in 2016 challenge I like this place a lot. Good selection of toys and clothes for the animals. Love the leash selection for the puppies. This location is in a small strip on a main round. The strip has only this store and a Beef O Brady's. Therefore, parking tends to be a little ruff at times. The store is on the small side compared to other locations. Staff has always nice, polite and pleasant on the occasions I have been here. Again, good selection of most items you are looking for. They tend to be a little pricey for things that you could find in the Walmart down the block but well worth the extra money just for the politeness of the staff and the convenience. Everyone is always willing to help find what you are looking for. read more

Great variety for dog owners. Cute clothes, a good toy selection, collars, Nina Ottosson Dog puzzle toys and great healthy organic dog treats, plus a small selection of gourmet dog treats. This location has the best staff!!! I go here multiple times a week and am always impressed and always leave happy! I personally wish I could bless the employess that work here with raises and recognition! Every time I go here they are very busy, and it never effects being helped promptly and given valuable time and info by a knowledgeable staff member, I have never been told "I DONT KNOW" here in response to questions asked. There is not alot of pet supply options, this place is a blessing. You dont have to be saving lives to make a HUGE difference. The peice of mind provided by knowing what expect at this location and that being excellence is a great service! read more

Super great place. I have been going here for 4 years and never had a single problem. They have great prices and everyone whom works here knows and loves animals. Also pricing is equal or better than Walmart but you get the professional expertise of the staff so you make the best decisions. Try them you will love them. read more

This is a great place for a few reasons. First of all the staff is very knowledgeable about a variety of pets and they have great advice that they don't mind sharing freely. Secondly I've been to a lot of pet stores that aren't so clean but Pet supermarket and St Cloud always smells nice, and the animals look like they're well taken care of. They are a little bit more expensive on some items but the guest service is better than you will find and other places in town. read more

My boyfriend, our dog, our cat and I were evacuating south Florida from Hurricane Irma and ran into car trouble a few miles outside of Saint Cloud. We ended up finding help for the car a half mile away from this Pet Supermarket, and took the animals over there to see if we could hang out for while the car was getting fixed. Every single employee here welcomed us with the most open arms and let us stay for the 6 hours it took for the car to be fixed. The kindness we all experienced was incredible. Both of our animals received so much love, it was so obvious that every employee there truly cares about ALL animals. Alexis and Alicia gave our babies each a can of food, which they REALLY appreciated, and Wayne let our kitty relieve himself in a littler box in their cat adoption cage which quickly made him so much happier. Not only were the employees super sweet to us, but I noticed how helpful and knowledgable they were with all the shoppers (and there were a LOT of people stocking up and getting ready for the hurricane). The store itself is very clean and well taken care of, we had absolutely no problem sitting on the floor in the back corner trying to stay out of everyone's way! Alexis then gave us a very comfy dog bed because she noticed our slightly older dog shaking from the cold floor. She was very comfortable after that. We want to thank everyone at Pet Supermarket for all the hospitality and help!!!! That day could've gone so much worse for us, but because of you all, it truly went as smooth as it possibly could considering the circumstances we were stuck in. THANK YOU!!!!!!! read more

Compared to others it is small but they are friendly the store is clean and organized and have everything you may need for your pet.

We used to love this place and come here every month to buy our dog and cat food. But after watching the manager turn away customer after customer so she could close an hour early, I won't come here anymore. I checked the website and the site for this location and both said they were open till 7. I use to think they went above and beyond for their customers here but I guess the employees come first. read more

Enjoyable store to walk through. Got my little Beardie Raava here about a month ago and took her home at 40 grams, 4 weeks later she has hit the big 100g! Staff is friendly but sometimes they can get a little clingy.. Otherwise the crickets are fresh and the super worms are super so I can't ask for much more. I'll keep going back, however you can find cheaper prices if you look and I've bought a glass tank that cracked from heat right after the return period which bummed me out. read more

Hello, I am a long time customer of Pet Supermarket. I would like to offer a brief critique of some key issues that need to be addressed. The customer service is very good. You greet the customers as they walk in, but the way you care for the betta fish, the stuff on pallets clogging the aisles, the messiness and clutter all around needs to stop. Clean the aisles, clear the pathways. Customers can trip and fall on corners of big pallets lying all over the place. I saw a cart full of white styrofoam boxes as soon as we entered the store. I saw a employee with messy, long, frizzy hair, shoulder length, unkempt appearance, no uniform, wearing a plain blue t-shirt and looked scruffy in appearance. Other similar employees were meandering about, talking to a few customers. The place looked cluttered. I looked down aisles and saw boxes of stuff, sitting there just waiting for a customer to trip over. I saw sick, unhealthy betta fish and every time I go to the store, the bettas are sick and in poorly kept , inhumane cruel conditions. Poor babies. Put the fish in clean, shiny attractive bowls, with clear clean water, remove dead fish from fish tanks and clean the tanks more often. I am going to report to PETA and also report to corporate office about these issues. I expect better from stores or I will shop somewhere else. You will lose business and have to close shop if you don't start fixing the place up. I took pictures and those will be sent to corporate as well. read more

The prices are pretty high and the staff usually pushes dog food brands that I hate (Nutro). The staff is knowledgable though and can be very nice, I'm glad there's a new store manager. Talk to Courtney, she's the best! read more

This store has terrible customer services. I have asked twice for a bag of cat food to be order since they were no longer carrying the larger selection. The first time the cashier said I would need to speak to the other gentlemen just down from her. She did not get his attention for me and when I approached him, he would not acknowledge me after several attempts, so I just left, vowing never to return. However, that was short lived since they are the only pet food store in town that sell the brand of cat food I buy. I ventured in again and for a second time asked if they could order the cat food in a larger bag. The lady helping me said they would order it and it would be in at the latest 2-3 weeks. I gave them my phone number since they promised to call when they received it in so that I could come in and pick it up. 5 weeks later no call. I decided to go with an online retailer Chewy.com which was cheaper and delivered right to my door for free with in 3 days of ordering. I highly recommend to give chewy.com a try instead of this store. read more
