we had a family emergency and needed to leave with a day notice. they were very fast to respond and…read morevery accommodating. when we showed up they were quick to take our dog to the back. they sent an email halfway through her stay updating us on her, letting us know she was happy and having a good time. when we showed up to pick her up she seemed a little out of it, not really acknowledging us when she usually gets super excited. the first thing we noticed was her right eye. it was bloody and almost looked infected, there was yellow pus coming out of her eye. we asked the young girl at the desk what happened and she had no idea. she went to the back to ask someone else what happened and when she came back all she said was "we had a lot of big dogs here today, they were all playing together" we never selected anything involving group play, she is a very friendly dog but as a business you should think about the liability. we never gave any type of permission for group play and to find out the dogs were roughhousing...not a good look. we will not be coming back here and the vet bills WILL be coming to them. (pictures were taken after cleaning up her eye) UPDATE: Terissa called and gave us a more detailed explanation of Harleys stay there. she explained that they have turf in the back and something could've gotten in her eye, that could be the reason for her eye being irritated. she offered to cover vet bills and Harleys stay there. she was definitely very apologetic and we really appreciate her customer service. that is how you do business. thank you Terissa!

Mong Mong has been the most important business in my life the last couple of years. The first cut…read morewas not the best and there have been some growing pains figuring out how to maintain my pup's hair between grooms but it was my own fault for not showing her a picture of what I was looking for. I have Mong Mong on speed dial (jk we're only on texting basis) and she has transformed my pup into the cutest dog in the freaking world, not that she wasn't already the cutest dog in the world - she just looks more so now. CONS: Suwanee is a bit far for me so I have to make a whole day of it every time. But with so many restaurants opening up daily, I have no complaints there. There is a bit of a language barrier (I can't say more than a couple words in Korea and prices for a grooming session have gone up over the past couple of years. BUT $80 is not bad for the work she has done for Miffy. And I just show a photo of what I'm looking for and they do a great job imitating what I ask for. STORYTIME: I brought in Miffy for her grooming and she had an embarrassing run in with fleas that I wasn't aware of. I thought it was just her usual cream poodle mix allergies but they calmly called me and told me they found bugs on Miffy and needed to apply flea shampoo to her grooming. Also that they would need to completely clean the entire salon and would have to charge me extra. It was completely understandable and also entirely embarrassing that my pup had found herself some fleas... but I was grateful they found out before it had blown up into a real problem. There were times they would cut her hair WAY shorter than I would ever want for her but they claimed it was due to the knots and tangles. Because let's face it, sometimes I go a few days without brushing her and the rapidly growing fur keeps growing. But after a couple weeks the concern melts away because once the fur grows out, she looks like exactly how I wanted her to look in the photos I showed them. It's amazing! I feel like they go above and beyond to cut my dog's fur and take care of her. There have been times where they have to hold onto her for longer to make sure they groom her appropriately and complete all the services. Just means I have an extra hour of errands I can run, in my opinion! I hope Mong Mong's owner never retires, at least not in my pup's lifetime, because there is no one I trust more with her cut!

I made called and made a last minute appointment for her the morning of and I was thankful they were able to squeeze her in that afternoon. It took quite a while for a full wash and tidy trim but she came out looking extra fluffy and clean. I probably should have gotten a full cut since her hair was WAY too long but I'm picky and don't trust groomers easily. Before I found Christina I would take her to the local pet groomers (not saying any names) to get her cut and it was always so traumatic for both of us. I even went to "cat's only" groomers-but it was always too stressful. I did some research and found Christina around 2015 and she has been our Savior ever since!! I will never go to another salon!!! Christina comes to our home and does her magic right here in my kitchen. She is so gentle with Cuppy and has such a pleasant manner that immediately puts Cupcake (and me) ease. While living in SoFlo we had two bad experiences with groomers that caused me to look for someone to come in to my home and groom her in my presence. Once was a van and the other was a big box pet store. The store incident, I didn't like the idea of leaving her for 4 plus hours with an array of other frightened caged dogs. But I did because I didn't know any better. I picked her up to find her shaking and all nicked up. I then said next time I'll call a van.... The van incident was that I could hear her terrified cries with shrieks that said she was being hurt from my backyard! That was the first and last time I'd ever use a van. Through word of mouth I was led to a groomer who would come in to my home and do everything with us in the house and it was great. Until of course I moved to Georgia and had to start my search for a groomer all over again. Lots of vans and doggie salons pop up on Yelp and Yahoo but no sign of an "in home groomer" that is until I actually searched that online with my zip code. VOILA! In home Pet Groomer and she services my area; Fantastic! Christina is her name and she is amazing. SO sweet and gentle, and it definitely helps that she has a soothing voice. She is the only person who Stella is totally ok with and DOESN'T cry. I was completely shocked the first time she came. And so incredibly grateful. Christina brings everything she would need, however I like her to use my towels and my specific shampoo because of Stella's sensitive skin. Her shaver sucks in the hair as it goes so she leaves no mess. It's great! She takes about an hour or so just depending on what sort of cut we want. She takes her time and makes sure she doesn't hurt her. What a thought right? I feel very lucky to have Christina. My Stella trusts her and that makes me happy. Sure, once Stella realizes what's about to happen she freaks because she doesn't like being groomed or bathed but she is at ease once the process starts; and so am I! I highly recommend her.

I followed Violet from her old location and have been taking my pets to her for years. She is very detail oriented and if she ever sees anything of concern she'll bring it up to me which I really appreciate. She always has the pets wellbeing foremost in her mind and often discusses with me what grooming is right for them rather than just trying to add unnecessary services. They are also very patient with my cat who has definitely scratched them multiple times but they still give their best effort. The office staff are also very nice!
