I haven't checked out or really shopped at any of their other local locations but I've never felt the need to since not only has this store always been well stocked with anything/everything my kitty girls need, it's also full of helpful and kind staff who go out of their way to make sure anyone in need of assistance can get it. I plan on going to this location as long as I can, even if it eventually becomes slightly more out of the way. I was going to by hornworms for my bearded dragon, the first time I went i vould tell they had been there a long time as they were fairly large so I just got some super worms. this last time just yesterday when I went I could tell they had been there a long time again because they were not only large again but also dead and some were also rotting. this tells me that you do not check on these at all I will not be shopping here. A lot of the chain pet stores around town don't carry the dog food I buy for my French Bulldog. It isn't anything too fancy - but alas only a few places carry it. Aside from that fact, I would happily shop here over the other big chains anyway. They are always more personable and attentive, even if I am there with my dog or not. Of course, when I am there with my dog - he definitely get a lot of attention, which he absolutely loves. At first impression walking into this place, I don't necessarily pick up on a shiny sparkly clean kind of store, but don't get me wrong - it isn't dirty. Just feels more like a locally run store with a family type vibe. I think their prices are reasonable and they run ads, so be sure to stock up when your items go on sale. My only word of caution is that right when you walk in there is huge cage of cats. There is no going around them. If you are allergic, or have a dog like mine, that gets WAY to excited when he sees a cat...just be warned. I usually distract him from the cats or try and walk by pretty quickly before he notices. I'm pleased that declawed cats are available at this store. We have owned cats in our multi cat household for over three decades, all have been declawed with no ill effects. Declawed cats get along with each other better with less injuries to each other. We and our grandchildren can handle them without getting scratched. Thank you for offering these cats! read more

What a great store! The sales associates were all friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. They have a great selection of cat food and litter at good prices. I did not check out the options for other animals as I only have cats. I signed up for their preferred pet program for more savings. I went because I received a coupon after getting a couple of cats from a local rescue. I like the fact that shopping with the coupon means the rescue will get a donation as well.
