My experiences from some well known pet groomers in the area were less than Stella; however, my experience with the Pack Leader Mobile Grooming service was by far STELLA. I paid $32 dollars more than what I have ever paid for my fur baby, but what I desired for my fur baby is what I got, a full grooming that did not leave him looking a hot mess. Instead, John took time to calm my fur baby down by walking him and working with him to de-matt and care for his fur providing him with an even and smooth cut. I also appreciate John's patience by finding a time and day suitable for my schedule. This grooming service is Monday-Friday with no weekends. He also serves the Forney, TX area. John gave me some helpful tips to help me keep my fur baby's fur, which includes his tail, manageable. I highly recommend this dog grooming service if you are looking for top quality care for you fur baby. I am excited about my next appointment. I will work hard to ensure it is cheaper than this one by following up on John's grooming advice.

He's long hair and I can just tell when he's hot and uncomfortable. In the summer I get his hair cut, in a lion cut, and I can never tell if he's strutting 'round because he thinks he looks handsome or stupid. But with the pom-pom tail, big hairy mane and boots with the furrrrrr, he just can't be beat. Now that we've moved to Rockwall I keep trying to find replacements for all my "best of" list I've used for years in Dallas. I'm picky and not going to let just any ol' gal with hair trimmers touch my kitty. I got her card from the Vet and kept it, knowing I'd need it some day. Once the summer heat set in, I made an appointment. Ozzy got his pill, was amply tranquilized and got his hair cut. She honestly did an awesome job. He's struttin' around, lookin' good and feelin' fine. She only took about 2h (would have gone quicker had he not cheeked his first dose of ACE), and he was back home drunk and sassy quick. NOW the time I try and trust a place this happens! My bichon had his first appointment on Tuesday and it was good until I realized why he was shaking his head so often right as soon as I picked him up. It's never occurred to me what it could be and I was always preparing for his surgery the following day. I was like why did they shave your ear off to the point where your ear is slightly visible. In my 3 years of going through groomers THERE WAS NEVER A GROOMER WHO SHAVED HIS FUR ON HIS EAR OFF BECAUSE IT WAS MATTED. My dogs ear was matted way before as well with other groomers but they never shaved it off. GUESS WHAT?! At 5am; I was curious why he was barely sleeping and was feeling his ears! To my shock, I found 2 wounds of dry thick blood inside the flap of his ears!!! Both on the same ear and same spot! I am so frustrated! I called and they told me they never cut him. SO TELL ME HOW HE CAN CUT HIMSELF IN HIS EAR WHILE HE WAS UNDER ANESTHESIA FOR DAYS FOLLOWING AND UNDER MY SUPERVISOR 24/7?!!?!? They made sure they told me what's going on and worked with me to find a cut that works for Zoey while stressing her out as little as possible. They're very gentle with her. Raco has had a number of seizures there. One of the groomers is a vet tech and immediately knows what to do. They have all the necessary items on hand and ready to help when this happens. They keep an eye on him and make sure he's happy and comfortable. Luna...she's just a normal dog. Always looks like a million bucks coming home though :)

The staff is friendly and good with pets, but our dog has gotten a respiratory infection twice after boarding here, and to add insult to injury, a terrible case of fleas. There is a bad smell in the lobby, which makes me worry they aren't properly disinfecting the space. We won't be returning and hope to inform others about the risks of boarding here. We spent almost $1000 trying to cure our dog's infections, one of which nearly killed her. Please read the rest of the reviews and realize this is not just a one-off bad experience.
