Absolutely amazing! I have an anxious, aggressive schnauzer poodle mix (Neville) so places like PetSmart refused to even try to groom him. I'm a bit embarrassed that Neville is so difficult with strangers, so I was nervous bringing him to anyone and would avoid it until it was absolutely necessary. Then I found The Pack Leader. He takes the time to sit with Neville before starting anything. Neville never gets 100% comfortable during the sessions, but with each visit, he's getting better. Our first session took almost 3 hours. Today took less than 2! And he always looks great when I pick him up! Wow! Is the best way to describe my experience with John, the Pack Leader for the Mobile Grooming Service I experienced. I have been looking for a reliable dog groomer since I returned to Forney. My experiences from some well known pet groomers in the area were less than Stella; however, my experience with the Pack Leader Mobile Grooming service was by far STELLA. I paid $32 dollars more than what I have ever paid for my fur baby, but what I desired for my fur baby is what I got, a full grooming that did not leave him looking a hot mess. Instead, John took time to calm my fur baby down by walking him and working with him to de-matt and care for his fur providing him with an even and smooth cut. I also appreciate John's patience by finding a time and day suitable for my schedule. This grooming service is Monday-Friday with no weekends. He also serves the Forney, TX area. John gave me some helpful tips to help me keep my fur baby's fur, which includes his tail, manageable. I highly recommend this dog grooming service if you are looking for top quality care for you fur baby. I am excited about my next appointment. I love the concept of mobile grooming. I usually took my dog to Petsmart and they usually take their sweet time. Sometimes they even forget to call us and notify us that he is ready to be picked up! We don't want to leave our dog there any longer than needed because he hates that place. I had an appointment recently on a Thursday at 9 AM. I forgot what the groomers name was but she was super nice. Arrived on time, asked us how we want our dog's hair cut, and got clarification when needed. It took just over 2 hours for the full grooming - a bit longer than I had expected. But that's okay cuz that means she isn't trying to rush through it! I have a Maltese (9 lbs) so it may even take longer of bigger dogs or dogs with more hair. Anyway, she delivered my baby back to me smelling delicious and with a cute bandana. She paid good attention to the instructions we gave before the cut, so that is much appreciated. The total cost was $95, they only accept check and cash. I spent many years testing out different dog groomers in the bay area for my epileptic bichon poodle, Zeko. I was judging based on how well they cared for him, how well they cleaned his ears (very important for breads like his), and the visual result. Was nervous to switch groomers since our dogs have anxiety issues and have been going to the same groomer for years but we've never liked that our dogs are gone for 6-8 hours and sitting in kennels surrounded by tons of other dogs barking (which causes added stress/anxiety)....so we decided to give this mobile grooming service a try. I found Pack Leader because I was looking for groomers who were good with agressive/fearful dogs. My 13 year old dachshund has always had a hard time with his paws being touched. He can get slightly bitey but mostly he will pull his paw away if you try to cut it or touch in between too much. John did a great job by establishing the relationship with my dog. He was able to cut his nails as far down as he could without hurting him. This was all in about 5 minutes. The next 5 minutes John spent showing me techniques to try and cut the nails myself. He also gave me some free clippers. Lastly he gave me these tips so that I could "save money." John was really honest and since I was only needing very basic nail trimming, he was very open about helping me out on something I shouldn't have to be spending lots of money over.
