I have been going to this place since it's opened and I've never had an issue. Ruby is one of our favorite groomers. Milo is a miniature dachshund and he usually can handle the nail trims. I always go for the paw package, and more than half the times I wasn't given the bandana, ear cleaning or scent spray, but I would ignore it because they did treat Milo good. Now I just came today, July 14th and was given Emma as his groomer. She didn't know what came in the paw package, the way she leashed Milo was uncalled for and lastly she had Milo bleeding after the first cut. I had to stop the service because Milo looked so terrified and the way she leashed him was incorrect. Definitely way too tight in the neck. After I said to stop and give me my puppy she said that he was squirmish but again I've watched him get this done and he never is, but of course this one time his is and I understand accidents happen but this was literally horrible. We enjoy stopping by this store to get treats for our fur babies, as well as other pet needs as they have a good stock of different supplies. They have a reward program too and it has truly added up in the small amount of times we have stopped by to grab treats. Our fur babies personally love their duck neck treats and the bakery treats. Even our picky girl who loves meat treats look forward to baked goods, no matter the types. This has become my store of choice now. It's funny because I didn't know they were here for so long, but they price match and the store is nice and well lit and clean. Super friendly staff, and they do grooming and self wash too. I take my dog here to get groomed every 6 weeks, always leaves looking fantastic and I'm super happy about it. The seasonal SPAW upgrade is super cute, they'll add a holiday themed bandana to your grooming appointment and a holiday themed scent to match. We decided to bring our pup here for a wash, it is our normal place to go for that! Loved the worker that we're working this day. I noticed that the last times we went there was always a comb to brush our dogs at self wash but this time there wasn't. We asked the worker if they had any and they said they never usually have one there. For $14 I hope they include stuff like that, including sprays like other self wash places do. It just seems like it's such a lack of things that they should provide. Also, the Nozzle in the 2nd shower stall is broken and they finally put a new leash thing in that one after the other one was always broken. All of the employees were helpful and friendly, making small talk about our pets or offering us help to find products. I'd love to replace Petco and Petsmart (nearby) where the staff isn't as friendly or helpful. My only reason to -1 star was that there were some things I'd like to see that they didn't have, at least not yet. I was looking at a particular type of chew on chewy and Amazon, that they didn't have, but the staff helped us pick something that might be similar. First, let me apologize for my dog throwing up when we came in. She was not feeling well today. The 2 female staff members (one of them was a supervisor) automatically caught an attitude as I was apologizing, I get it, no one likes to clean up after a sick dog. I would have gladly cleaned up the mess but with that attitude, and the supervisor dismissed my apology, I wasn't even given the opportunity to do so. This makes me not want to come in and do a self wash but lucky me, I bought 4 punch cards so I guess I'm stuck with them. I will definitely be calling ahead to see if the guys are working that day. Brand new store (July 1st), and so far so good. Very clean, friendly staff, and a large selection of items for dogs, cats, and fish. They also have a little bakery selection (super cute), do grooming, and have a pet wash area. I love that they had a large selection of Stella & Chewy treats/meal toppers as those are a fave of my dogs. I wish they had more (smaller) pet beds, but not a huge deal. I also didn't see puppy pads or a lot of grooming supplies, but this store had so much stuff packed in, I'm sure I just missed it. If I can find that, I may start coming here versus having to go to both PetSmart and Petco for all of my pup's needs. read more

I have an 8 year old Bernedoodle who has arthritis and is challenging to groom, it was hard to find a groomer that would go at my Faye's pace and make it a positive experience for her. Only good things to say about the staff at pet supplies. Plus in Federal Way. I had an issue with scheduling an appointment and went into the business to see if they could help me. Found out that it was a problem with the system and notice was sent to their IT I was taken over to the salon part and he scheduled an appointment to have Abby's nails done at the next available time. Everyone at that business has been very nice and they have taken an excellent care of Abby when she's been in for bathing or to get her nails done. They also have a tub that you can wash your own dog in for a small fee which I find to be super simple and they supply everything that you need including shampoo, towels, hair, dryer to get your baby completely clean, dry and ready to go. read more

I saw that this store was rated "Best Pet Store" in the Federal Way Mirror Best of Federal Way 2024 poll. My copy of the Mirror included a coupon for this store. It reads 25% of everything the in-store. Given that kind of rating, the high Yelp reviews and the chance to save some money at a locally owned and operated store, I visited the store. I saw approximately 5 employees working. They seemed quite busy with what appeared to be administrative responsibilities like stocking the shelves setting up displays, etc. No one greeted me or asked to assist me. I pushed my cart around the store for some time looking for various pet supplies. I shopped for approximately 20 minutes. During that time no one offered to assist or ask if I had any questions. I had well over $100.00 worth of merchandise in my cart when I went to check out. That 25% coupon was about to pay off. I waited at the unattended check out station for a few minutes until a staffer noticed me and came over to the station. I asked if I could use the coupon. He said yes and asked for my phone number. I complied. He entered my number and told me I did not have an account with them. I said I knew that and asked why it was relevant to the transaction. He replied that in order to use the coupon I had to register with them. I asked him to show where that limitation was documented on the coupon, of course it wasn't. I asked again if I could still use the coupon without having an account. He said no. At that point I left. The store had items that my dogs would like. The sale prices seemed quite competitive with other similar shops. However, given the lack of customer service and misleading advertising I will not be going back or recommending this store. read more
