This is a fun store. The people are consistently friendly and kind to my dogs. I have 3 Shelties. So we go through a lot of training treats. The sales here help. The biggest draw is Ruby, the groomer. My youngest Sheltie is only 9 months old. I usually do my dogs' claws, but I brought him in one day to have his first experience with having someone else do his feet. He was worried, but Ruby is an excellent dog handler. She was efficient and very careful with him. It was a very good experience --- which was good because yesterday, July 19th, I brought him back to see if Ruby could remove mats the size of PLUMS under both of his ears. Yes, she could! She did a terrific job -- much better than I could have done myself. Afterward, at the cash register, the cashier gave my puppy a BIG piece of salmon jerky (just to convince him that this is an okay place). He's convinced. We enjoy stopping by this store to get treats for our fur babies, as well as other pet needs as they have a good stock of different supplies. They have a reward program too and it has truly added up in the small amount of times we have stopped by to grab treats. Our fur babies personally love their duck neck treats and the bakery treats. Even our picky girl who loves meat treats look forward to baked goods, no matter the types. Super friendly staff, and they do grooming and self wash too. I take my dog here to get groomed every 6 weeks, always leaves looking fantastic and I'm super happy about it. We decided to bring our pup here for a wash, it is our normal place to go for that! Loved the worker that we're working this day. I noticed that the last times we went there was always a comb to brush our dogs at self wash but this time there wasn't. We asked the worker if they had any and they said they never usually have one there. For $14 I hope they include stuff like that, including sprays like other self wash places do. It just seems like it's such a lack of things that they should provide. Also, the Nozzle in the 2nd shower stall is broken and they finally put a new leash thing in that one after the other one was always broken. Brand new pet supply store in the Federal Way Commons mall (on the outside, on the Pac Highway sideway.) I went this weekend to their grand opening party. All of the employees were helpful and friendly, making small talk about our pets or offering us help to find products. I'd love to replace Petco and Petsmart (nearby) where the staff isn't as friendly or helpful. My only reason to -1 star was that there were some things I'd like to see that they didn't have, at least not yet. I was looking at a particular type of chew on chewy and Amazon, that they didn't have, but the staff helped us pick something that might be similar. First, let me apologize for my dog throwing up when we came in. She was not feeling well today. The 2 female staff members (one of them was a supervisor) automatically caught an attitude as I was apologizing, I get it, no one likes to clean up after a sick dog. I would have gladly cleaned up the mess but with that attitude, and the supervisor dismissed my apology, I wasn't even given the opportunity to do so. This makes me not want to come in and do a self wash but lucky me, I bought 4 punch cards so I guess I'm stuck with them. I will definitely be calling ahead to see if the guys are working that day. They also have a little bakery selection (super cute), do grooming, and have a pet wash area. I love that they had a large selection of Stella & Chewy treats/meal toppers as those are a fave of my dogs. I wish they had more (smaller) pet beds, but not a huge deal. Only good things to say about the staff at pet supplies. Plus in Federal Way. I had an issue with scheduling an appointment and went into the business to see if they could help me. Found out that it was a problem with the system and notice was sent to their IT I was taken over to the salon part and he scheduled an appointment to have Abby's nails done at the next available time. Everyone at that business has been very nice and they have taken an excellent care of Abby when she's been in for bathing or to get her nails done. They also have a tub that you can wash your own dog in for a small fee which I find to be super simple and they supply everything that you need including shampoo, towels, hair, dryer to get your baby completely clean, dry and ready to go. read more

I took my dogs for there haircut appointment everything was going good until they looked at my girl dog, and they started shaving off her hair. Then they asked me for her rabies. They told me that she needed to renew her rabies. And they said they couldn't continue the service mind you my dogs hair was half shaved off already and they gave me her back like that then my boy dog I told them that I want the hair in his years long and on top of his head I want the little Afro that he has I just wanted it a little trimmed off, but there's a new girl working there and she did not follow instructions and she shaved off the Afro I did not like the service they did on my dog, and the new girl was really mean she was not paying attention on the instructions. I gave her how to leave my dogs hair very disappointed on how they left my dogs and they have a license to cut the dogs hair. They should've asked me for her rabies first before they started shaving off her hair that is not very professional of them. Will not be coming back and I will be taking my dogs somewhere else where they're more professional than they are. read more
