I buy a lot of refrigerated "Fresh Pet" food products from Pet Supplies Plus North Providence. I was in a few days ago and also bought some treats for my Yorkie. In the past, I have purchased a collar and leash, two dog beds, and flea collars. Saturday mornings are super busy. I will probably go on a weekday in the future. The people who work in the store are always cordial. There is usually someone available in one of the aisles to answer questions. The cash register attendants are also friendly. OMG. Went in quick today for my usual online pick up for my boys... they were having an adoption event for dogs/puppies. This was the most adorable , emotional event ever. I instantly called my friend and she came in to fill out an application.. along with my sister as well!! This even was so organized and caring .. not only is the store itself the only pet store I go to but tbh is would be the only place I would go for an adoption knowing the care and dedication put into it. My cats and I came to the Cinco de Meow event. They both received swag bags containing treats and toys. They enjoyed the treats recommended by the host. They even had Cinco de Mayo toys for dogs and cats!!! The staff are helpful and friendly. We love coming here! read more

I booked a Full Service Groom (all inclusive) at the North Providence location and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The woman at the front desk was very nice, but a male manager immediately popped his head out of his office and bluntly told me, "We don't do grooming here - you scheduled it wrong." I told him I booked correctly for North Providence, and he kept insisting I was wrong, instead of even checking. The front desk associate finally asked to see my confirmation. Sure enough, it clearly showed Full Service Groom - NORTH PROVIDENCE. I was right. Despite that, the manager never apologized, never acknowledged that he'd been rude and incorrect, and just said, "Oh, I'll tell them," whoever "them" is. There was zero accountability and a completely combative and dismissive attitude. I refused to leave my dog in the care of people who talk to customers like that. We used to be regulars there for treats and toys, but after this experience I will never go back and strongly recommend that others find a different place for their pets as well. read more

They get their Dogs from puppy mills..me knowing better should never have bought a puppy from a pet store..6 weeks after I took him home he died...Did not live up to the guarantee..talk to a lawyer Was told he would not have to give me my money back.instead he could have just giving me another mill puppy..Couldn't go through that again..Right up there with some of the worst people i've come across I'm my 65 years...please don't do business with this monster... North Providence, RI Pet Supplies Plus -SUCKS! I've been shopping PetSupplesPlus for years. But several yrs ago I injured my back and started having my pet supplies delivered when necessary. It never freaking fails! Every single time I place an order for delivery they Never Read the instructions. Today I ordered (4) buckets, 140 lbs cat litter & food. INSTRUCTIONS: LEAVE ON REAR DECK. The morons left the entire order at my front door. As I attempted to grab something from my car I couldn't because my door was completely blocked & I couldn't open my door without breaking the glass. If there was a fire in the rear I would've never got out the front door without breaking through. And I just threw my back out. During the transaction Megan smiled and was pleasant asking if I found everything I was looking for. She then asked if I needed help carrying the case to my car. Great local spot for pet supplied. Everyone who works there is super helpful and friendly. You can order online and pickup curbside if you prefer pets to people ( which I do ). They have a great loyalty program where you can earn points for five dollar off coupons. You can stack these with the mailing list coupons and save a bundle. They have events also on weekend with pets that are worth checking out. Prices are reasonable and staff is helpful. It's a great place for your pet needs. read more

The website is super easy to use, the order is ready in an hour or less, the employees bring your order right to your car, and they load it into your trunk or back seat. I love this pet store with it being so small it has a large selection for all animals. I have a parrot , a bunny , a parakeet and a bearded dragon and they have a selection for all of them which is great! It's a little shop I think that isn't a chain, I like local stores. The associates are very helpful and sweet. And this place is very reasonable ! The one thing I love about this place is how clean it is! And it being a pet store it doesn't smell like pets gnats amazing. The parking also isn't a hassle the lot is shared but it's big enough that it isn't a hassle , the only downfall it's off of mineral spring so getting into the lot can be tricky but oh well it's worth it. This has become my go-to pet store, especially since it's so close to work. There's a large variety of dog/cat food, treats, toys, bedding, medications, clothing etc. They also have a savings card, however, you'll notice the prices are already pretty low to begin with. One thing I appreciate is that they have the higher and lower end dog foods separated. So, if your dogs are switching foods, it's pretty easy to find. I started with testing out their smaller bags of food to see if my dog would like it, before buying the bigger bags. We're are happily content on Merrick's Grain Free line. Bonus: By the register are bakery treats. They change for the season (valentines day themed, etc) I've gotten a few for my dog and he has never had a complaint! read more

I have been shopping here for years and I have no complaints!! I am always greeted with a smile as soon as I walk in the door. My mom and I always come here to purchase our cat food/treats. We love the pro plan dry and wet food and they always have a huge selection of flavors and prices are great!! Also They always have a sale on the party mix treats (both are kittys love their snack time) and kitty soft treats our senior cat enjoys!!! They have a pet supplies card similar to petsmarts "pals" card that is free and you need it to get the sales. If you don't have your card you can just give them your phone number. anyway.. I love this store. I love knowing that when I walk in the door I will be greeted and if I need anything all I have to do is ask! Great feeling because I am an amputee and sometimes I need help. I am always asked if I need help out of the store with my things. Can I make a suggestion?
