I've been shopping here for years and love the Monroe Ave location. I stopped in to the Greece location today and I was very disappointed. We're usually always greeted upon entering, and nobody was even at the register. The two girls working were stocking shelves and talking in an aisle. When we looked at them as we passed, they still didn't greet us and gave us weird looks. We brought our new puppy in with us and they didn't even acknowledge him and he just loves to say hello to everyone. Upon checking out, the line was extremely long and getting longer and no help came to the front, just the one register open. It was a very odd experience for us and I don't think I'll be returning to this location. The customer service is absolutely awful. Every single time I have shopped here there has been an issue. The employees seem as if you just picked them off the street. And maybe they did since it's slim pickings on employees these days. But when you spend as much $ as fellow pet owners know you spend, it's frustrating to say the least. Examples- Using the wash for the sole purpose of the dryers- don't work. When asked (at check out paying $15 for one single wash) they said "oh yeah we have to turn them on". Ok so when I came in and said I want a wash and was handed towels nobody thought maybe I wanted the dryers on? Ordered food online for 1 hour pick up- 2 hours later get a call saying that they don't have it but got a shipment in but not sure that food came in, and that if canceled I "should" get my points and money back. Should? lol. And you don't know if you have it? It's 2024, where's the invoice? What's the solution? 8 hours later I get a call that they have the food. Waited 15 mins for them to bring it out. Paid $50 worth of a $75 total with Apple Pay balance.. to be followed by my card for the remainder. The cashier canceled the transaction .. and stated to a manger (?) "I assumed she didn't have enough money"... this was after she sat and stared at me and expected me to still pay the full amount.. manager said my total was still 75 and "we don't have the money" .... lol neither do I!! It came out of my account and I had the transaction on my statement. So because she assumed I didn't have the $ and cancelled the entire transaction it was then on me to come up with a solution. If I weren't the kind of person to stand my ground and stick up for myself I would've been out $50. Severely lacks professionalism and zero customer service. read more

We were here last Wednesday. A worker said they were planning to open last Saturday. With COVID-19, they were hoping to open as scheduled. They did. This store is bright and clean, slightly smaller than the Webster, NY location. This is very well stocked and labeled. The employee that helped us find the price of bulk millet sprays for Rudy (parakeet) was super nice. That was the only item we saw unlabeled. The employees all communicate via headset, so we waited only seconds for the price. They carry everything from harnesses, food, carriers, grooming supplies and a display of fresh novelty-shaped dog biscuits near the door/checkout. They have a self-serve dog wash in the back of the store next to the large community room. That will be Lollypop Farm's new Greece adoption site. They expect the pets in a couple of weeks. They have discounts at the checkout celebrating their Grand Opening. You can afford to spoil your furry, feathered, flippered family members on the cheap. The man I talked to about the dog food was very pleasant and tried to help, but he was nowhere near as knowledgeable as the woman I had come to here for years, who I was told got fired! What a mistake you made! I quit coming to the store because the food was never in stock. I came here today because I needed help choosing good food since my dog has been acting like he's got pancreatitis and the go to woman who was very knowledgeable, who I had gone to for years, since back when the store was called pet saver, she's now gone. In her place are people that are nowhere near as knowledgeable. I knew that women could be a little bit snippy at times but it was well worth it to make sure that I'm giving my baby what was right. You blew it. I won't be back. Besides, I can get a can of blue buffalo for three dollars without being on sale elsewhere instead of the $4.86 you charge! what a rip off! read more

I posted a review about the terrible service at this store and the fact they never have the dog food I want.. You can see my review below. I got a reply from the business manager saying this wasn't the way they normally do business and they wanted me to call and discuss it. I just called and got some lady and told her why I was calling and she put me on hold for a few minutes and some other woman named Abby came on the phone and I told her the same thing, the reason for my call, and she didn't know what I was talking about either. Apparently the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing so I will just shop at Latta Road from now on. read more

I tried the Ridgecrest store because I am cat sitting around the corner but I will never use this store again. I placed a carry-out order that didn't get filled for over 3 hours so I came to pick it up Saturday. I made 3 phone calls and no one picked up; I even clicked the button saying I'm here. I left at least 2 voice mails with my phone number and never received a call back. I was filthy and tired and didn't want anyone to see me or I would have gone in, but instead I came into the store on Sunday. I asked the clerk and she said she was alone and couldn't answer the phone! I asked why no one returned my calls and got a blank stare. I had even called my regular store, Latta Road, thinking there was something wrong with Ridgecrest phones. Really poor management! I just checked my phone and in the last 3 days, I called the store 8 times and no one picked up and no one returned the voice mails. read more
