I was not only heart broken but disgusted on how these pets are handled in this store. This poor ferret had NO litter box and there is waste and urine everywhere. Not only that, ferrets already have a scent, imagine smelling feces and urine as soon as you walk in. Instead of selling it for $300 might as well sell it for less if this place can't take care of this animal. I wouldn't even give you a star but had to choose something. This place needs to have an inspector give them a visit. read more

Bought a Glofish tank and I've tried to get fish three different times and each time they've had a sign saying the tank tower is closed. Have a feeling they just don't want to scoop fish. Buying fish elsewhere! read more

Great store. I shop for my cats, rabbit, tarantula and bearded dragon. They have everything you need and the staff has pet knowledge.

I first found Pet Supplies Plus in Kokomo Indiana while picking up a new police dog. They offered me a rewards card and I laughed, telling them I was from Seguin Texas and I was sure there wasn't a store near me. They looked and sure enough there was one right here in Seguin, so I took the card. That was 8 years ago, at the time my new dog had a serious problem with food. If he liked it the food gave him digestive issues, if it didn't give him digestive issues he didn't like it. Pet Supplies Plus has a fantastic policy that if your dog has issues with a food you can bring it back for a full credit towards a different food. I have no doubt the Kokomo store lost money on me for two months until I found the right food that he not only liked but kept him regular. By then it was time to come back to Seguin, and I've been a loyal customer ever since. If I want a food they don't stock, they'll get it for me. Their prices are competitive (they will price match, even Chewy) and their rewards system of buy 10 get 1 free is icing on the cake. I had switched to Chewy briefly, because I thought it would be easier with free delivery. Their service is great, but FedEx was constantly throwing my dog food boxes on top of a fire ant hill, or leaving my food out in the rain to mildew. My delivery experiences were terrible. Buying locally at Pet Supplies Plus was a much better decision for me. Does their customer service lack at times? Yes, but honestly have you been anywhere recently where it doesn't? Employee turn over is horrible these days, and even finding employees is tough. But I can't say I've ever had an unpleasant experience at Pet Supplies Plus. Other local places over the years I've gotten food bags with rodent holes, once I even brought a rodent into my house in a food bag. I was carrying the bag in and it jumped out of the bag and ran up my arm, scared me to death. I've even been in their storeroom, and I've never once seen any indication of rodent issues at Pet Supplies Plus. read more

This is store is ALWAYS out of reptile food. They got rid of half their fish selection to make room for reptiles and yet they never have reptile supplies. They have a fridge for reptile food that is consistently empty and they have cricket containers that are consistently empty. When you ask about it their response is always, "our trucks come in on Thursday". Then on Thursday, everything is still empty. The stuff they do have in stock is pricey. They do price match so I never buy anything here without pulling it up on amazon and asking for that price. read more

Small pet store with everything you need for most household pets. They greet you every time you walk in the front door. Super friendly at the register. If you need help, just walk up to the register and ask. Depending on the popularity of a certain type of specialty food, you may have to stop back on a different day. I've been in before to purchase Taste of The Wild cat food. Sometimes they are out. I just ask when the next shipment is coming in and no problem coming back. I especially like that they often have savings coupons on the back of our local Heb receipts. Good prices! Lots of dog and cat food choices, and many different cat litters as well. I like this store more than the larger chain stores. read more

Busy store. Staff is nice. This is your basic pet store. They sell too many types of dog and cat food. If you need specialized reptile food go to a pet store that specializes in reptiles. If you need help ask someone up front. The employees aren't magical. They won't know you need help unless you ask. I for one find it refreshing that the employees aren't following me around waiting for me to buy something or chomping at the bit to upsell me. read more
