Always take our Bulldog, Maggie, in to give her a bath. The last couple of times we've been in Chris has always checked us out and given us our towels. Chris is always smiling and makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. The wash area is excellent with choice of soaps or bring your own from home. Then you can blow dry your dog there. I have Golden Retrievers and use the dog wash quite often, but lately I've noticed the water is like ice cubes on the rinse cycle and had an associate verify. She went & got another person and they told me that basically they are running out of hot water in the tank, they aren't allowed to turn it up. I think they may have a bad water heater because it never used to be freezing cold. No compensation was offered, 14 dollars is pretty steep when a garden hose would be just as warm if not warmer. They must have strict policies, a lot of times when toys are buy one get one free you have to buy the exact same toy, not one the same brand and price, but like 2 of the exact same. Ridiculous really, little stuff like that, but the staff is always friendly and hopefully they warm things up a bit, nobody likes a cold bath that I know of and our dogs are no different. One star might be a little harsh but I only go in there to buy one thing and when I tried to ask the lady in there if they can make my life easier by ordering me a case of freshpet turkey 6 pound rolls because you always run out! I would pay her in advance and she says that's not our policy of making custom orders. I've never known a company to not take cash in hand and order extra since it's probably ordered weekly. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel so I found Meijer has the same rolls for $4 cheaper and always have many rolls in stock. To feed my two German shepherds your product it probably cost the neighborhood of $600 a month. Therefore I guess you guys lost a loyal customer (and $600 in monthly revenue). read more

Dear Mr./Mrs. Nichol. I attempted to purchase my normal 30 pound bag of dog food NutriSource today along with a fish for one of my two small fish tanks. To tell how much I spend on my animals, my 70 pound dog is a rescue and is diabetic and blind and I have two others, the bills are not cheap. During the four days we were without power, a generator kept my fish alive. The clerk asked if I have a 30 gallon or bigger tank which I do not. She said they care about their animals and will not sell me a 2.50 fish even if I was buying the 70.00 dog food. I stopped in front and asked the ladies and they agreed with fish girl. After thinking about the issue I called asking for bait fish for my non existent turtle which you are out of but you will let me feed the non existent turtle and apparently you don't care about the bait fish. So I asked to buy the original fish to feed the non existent turtle and she said no. Really? How do you stay in business. They would not allow me to leave you a message but I will get one out there This way. I will buy the Nutri Source from Menards and the fish from everybody else and oh yes I have a cat too. read more

This is a great place to stop by, we didn't buy anything on our visit. However we had a employee named Brandon come up and help us. He showed us animals we had questions about and even let us hold them. He was very knowledgeable and cared very much for the animals. I came in for the first time yesterday to check out their selection of items since I was out on the East side and let me tell you I am thankful I did. The staff was all so attentive. It was clean. Although it's smaller than Pet Smart it has a great selection of everything you could need. I got a few items for 50-75% off. Not little things but a cat tower and a feliway product which are always highly priced anywhere else. My son was staring at their collection of reptiles and the staff member was kind enough to give my son a demonstration of how a chameleon eats. Great customer service and great prices. read more

This is the best pet store I have ever been to. The product selection is top notch. They have a good selection of very natural, healthy products that cannot be found anywhere else. The staff is incredible - ALWAYS helpful and attentive. They are very knowledgable about the products and go out of their way to get you what you need. The store is sparkling clean. I can't say enough good about this store - I have recommended them to everyone I know.
